Loved this place! The bartender was amazing! Clean and tidy. The staff were also great! Marriotts never disappoint!
Checkin time was 4 pm which is late but to be told my rooms were not ready for me and my family was irritating. Then we had to wait for 2 1/2 hrs. When we did get in the room and settled the room above us was noisy beginning at 5:00 am. Trip failure!!!!
Second time staying here. Great staff, parking, and rooms. We had a previous reservation somewhere else, but there was an error and we had to book last minute here. Great price. I rold my husband I'd stay here 1000 times before staying back in the city

Excellent staff, very clean, but can be noisy on the weekends. Restaurant was average, but well staffed. Rooms are nice, area has some highlights and some rough spots. Would definitely stay here again.
Near the BART station and conveniently located near Jack London Square. The property is clean and safe. If you have business in Downtown Oakland this is a nice place to stay.
Honestly, Going into a Marriott I expected something less and overall it wasn't! It was a beautiful, hotel staff is friendly and welcoming. The room was clean and spacious the only downside is parking because it isn't free but what parking is free in the bay area ! If you are a first timer in Oakland I would definitely recommend this hotel.
Nice rooms, friendly staff. Lots of good food and things to do within walking distance. $45 for parking seems excessive, but I guess that’s how it goes in the city.
Two years ago an idiot remodeled all the rooms. the space is poorly utilized; there are no drawers where you need them; no space in the (tiny) bathroom for toiletries; reading lamps that shine into your eyes. I won't be back.
