Our room number was 101. The first room next to the room to get breakfast with very thin walls. The office next to that and you heard every phone call and every person that came through the door. They were wiring something next to the breakroom and we heard the drills and hammering. Later after the workers left, the fire alarm went off due to wiring overheating from the work. To be fair, the room was comfortable and clean.

Hotel Skye was a good value for a hotel close to SFO. Staff was helpful with our late check-in after our flight arrived late. The free breakfast was appreciated and the shuttle service back to the airport avoided need for a cab or ride-share. I would stay here again if in the Bay Area.

First room we got (106): the shower head disconnected from the hose and sprayed everywhere. Second room since we asked to get moved (105): the shower head is connected and works just fine! There were long black hairs in the towels. There was a blood stain on the bed sheet. The toilet was not flushed from someone’s “business”. The vending machine across from these rooms do not work. If you need a place to sleep, this is the place for you. The AC works.

Staff was very friendly. The room was clean. Now I will say that the hotel is located on a very busy street so if you’re a light sleeper then you may want to bring earplugs or request a room on the non street side. The heater is loud (but it does work well) to the point that I turned it off. Lots a good restaurant options and the airport shuttle is a plus. The coffee was good in the morning, good continental breakfast options. Would stay here for an early morning flight again.

Super close to the airport with a complimentary shuttle that picks up at Hotel Skye first. I wish the bed had real pillows instead of the European square ones but everything else was perfect. I didn’t get to enjoy the breakfast unfortunately we left too early.

Driving up to Pacifica to go crabbing my friends and I decided to drive up for the night. As we were driving we were looking for places to stay. This place seemed great and clean. As I was booking I was just looking for 2 queen beds since there was a 4 of us. So I booked and that part was easy. We arrived and we checked in. The manager asked how many were staying I said 4. He said your booking shows two. I asked is there a difference he said yeah. That’s two more ppl I have to feed for breakfast and two more towels I have to wash. I was dumbfounded. Frustrated and tired I paid the difference. Never have I been to an establishment where you were paying per guest. Not sure if this is a Bay Area thing but it didn’t sit right with me. Breakfast was just pastry, cereal and waffles which we didn’t eat. Then it had me thinking do they only wash the amount of towels per guest in the room and just leave everything else there for the next guest to use. I don’t recommend this hotel at all to anyone!
