Room was clean, small things for me like new kitchen sponge and dish soap were super helpful. The daily breakfast also took some stress off me, although the similar stuff was offered each morning - fine for someone like me who eats similar stuff at home! Kitchen was equipped to cook small meals. Front staff were always friendly, my family loved the pool and I loved the walking distance to groceries, mall etc. Bed was confortable, sofa bed mattress need replacing.

The room and facilities were dated, with haphazard remodeling that cheapens the overall quality of the interior. Most aspects of the room were "renewed", but it is obvious the building is showing its age and some odd items were not renovated: toilet, TV, clock (who still uses CDs?), stained chairs. The room is large, but since the interior didn't feel cozy, clean, or inviting, I did not want to stay longer than I needed to. Location was not as convenient as I had hoped, grounds were messy with trash, "pet area" was a real joke (landscape island with a fire hydrant and some poop bags), and this hotel is on its last legs.

The hotel is extremely old and dated. It’s all torn up. Carpet was awful rips dirty nasty. The lobby stairwell is up to rooms. All night staff was talking loudly in the lobby. I had to call and ask them to be quiet because they woke me up. I left a trash bag outside my door and the staff ignored it. It was sitting out there all day. The only staff that was helpful, was Khalil The only real bonus about this hotel is the airport shuttle There is no way this hotel is more than two stars. Please hotels.com rate accordingly and accurately.

We stayed at the Sonesta ES suites for 10 nights while in San Francisco for a medical procedure (kidney donation). The property met akk our needs for our stay and we appreciated the full kitchen and the ability to cook our meals in our room while I was recovering. But don’t expect anything over and above. This is right on the flight path of the San Francisco airport so airplanes fly overhead approximately every five minutes. Staff is noisy and will often be outside your room, shouting into walkie-talkies. The breakfast was decent but same hot options every day. We only received housekeeping two days in our 10 day stay. And the spa was under repair for eight of our 10 days. The airport shuttle is convenient, but doesn’t run super efficiently so make sure to book 4 hours in advance for departures. Also learned on the last day that their shuttle would take people to the hospital, which would’ve been nice if they would’ve told us that when we checked in on night one. All in all, met our needs but don’t expect any red carpet treatment!
