Stayed for 4 nights and every morning the breakfast coffee is always cold. Do not plan to use your laptop or iPad on their Wi-Fi. HORRIBLE experience. Was only able to connect ~15% of the time. Keeps getting kicked off the network. Staff said to just keep trying. Very unique decor. Hallways lighting feels like Dracula’s castle.

Once upon a time this was probably a nice hotel, it has seen better days. Our shower leaked and got the carpet wet outside the bathroom, springs in sofa bed were breaking through, hotel was listed as having a cafe and room service but that ended a year ago. There was a hot tub that was “closed due to health code” and the TV got no service til we figured out how to use our own phone’s hotspot. A shuttle to the airport would have been nice as it was only 2 miles from there but $30 uber ride each way. It was the first hotel to come up as San Francisco, but in reality it was at least 30 min from there. Would not go back for the $800 we spent for 5 nights

Upon check in we learned our booking was wrong. What we booked through Expedia didn’t match what the hotel had under our names. Instead of two queen beds we were put in a room with one queen bed and a pull out sofa. It wasn’t a big deal, my children sleep on pullouts almost every time we stay in a hotel, except the pullout had springs exposed and little to no mattress at all. I notified the receptionist for the second time and they were nice enough to comp us an adjoining room with a king bed. Thankfully the room next to us just happened to be adjoining and vacant, as there were no other available rooms. The main problem I had was there were no locks on the windows. My daughter who has special needs found this out within minutes of arrival and we spent the rest of the stay making sure there was no way she could access them. This might not be an issue for a traveler without curious children but safety is pretty important to me. The latches were completely broken on one window, making it impossible to even close completely. Being on the third floor made this very nerve wracking. We had to hide all the chairs in the bathroom and move the desk away from the wall.

It’s a nice place with a nice rate. Upon check-in there was no greeting, no info on wi-fi or breakfast given and I had to ask about parking. I opened the window, but the neighbors were too noisy to leave it open. It would be nice to have a grab bar in the shore/tub.
