If you want to relax and walkaway from modern life for a little while this is your place. If you are not adventurous after 3 nights you will start missing regular showers (its all saltwater and bathtubs) and electric lights (its all candles) however, the first 3 nights are magical especially in the suites overlooking the ocean, this is a great place for a honeymoon.

We enjoyed every part of our stay! The rooms and surroundings were beautiful. The staff was excellent! Barbara, Daniela and Mariana took excellent care to make sure we taken care of. The food and drinks were great. We had great service at the beach and beach bars by Omar and excellent food by chef Juno! I could go on and on about how beautiful and unique this place is. My wife and I had a great time!

The most amazing hotel I have ever stayed. It is a once in a lifetime opportunity to stay somewhere so natural, serene, and beautiful. Highly recommend an upper ocean view Sky Villa. No AC is no problem with the breeze.

Chose Azulik because I wanted a unique Mayan experience, and I totally knocked it out of the park choosing this echo-friendly hotel. I know some people might be under the misconception that the term "echo-friendly" means lacking in amenities. Nothing could be further from describing this incredibly built hotel. Rooms are large, cozy and romantic. Food was amazing, and the chef prepared our meals right in front of us. Best food and ambiance entire stay in Mexico!!

The hotel is beautiful! If you are adventurous and don't require electricity to enjoy your vacation this place is definitely worth checking out. The breakfast and fresh juices were delicious:

The trip was very nice with the accomadations just as described. The only thing that could be better is the service for breakfast and most importantly coffee in the morning, by this I mean some coffee, hot and fresh within easy access. Other then the coffee and breakfast thing we were pleased. Oh don't pre pay for breakfast, we did and only had breakfast one morning there. Pay in cash for all services while on your stay. The staff is very good and helpful. Lots to do in the area on your own just be adventurous and you will be surprised.

I loved everything about the hotel, its very romantic and a different experience. The only issue is that the mosquitoes will eat you alive! make sure you pack a really good repellent (I did but they still bit me and left me with marks all over :( ) its only at night when they bother you a lot, so either stay in your room or go to the town but you cannot be in the lobby or in the bar or in the balcony, its painful! Other than this it was amazing, very romantic the room was clean and everything was beautiful. I will return to this place but stay inside at night time.

Wonderful and charming hotel complex with cute bungalows and the sound of the sea at night. Rooms were very warm when trying to sleep at night (we stayed in April), but if you don't mind that - this is a treat overall. Staff are very helpful and friendly.

My boyfriend and I thought we would be adventurous and try this resort with no electricity because the pictures of this place looked beautiful. It was an experience, but I don't think we will try it again. I think this place is more for nature loving people, that really want to find peace, serenity, and relaxation in oneself and our natural environment. Our room was very nice, clean, and rustic. We had full floor to ceiling windows partially covered by bamboo sticks as walls so our neighbors had a good view into our room and vice versa. Being a conservative couple, we found this to be a bit disconcerting. But overall, if that is your kind of thing, this is a great place to stay for adults in need of finding their balance in life again.

Azulik is the best combination of romantic and rustic. The only draw back is with all window walls there is a lack of privacy during the day. Other than that it was beautiful and a nice get away.

beutiful views, from our room Number 7. small hotel, very authentic and rustic. the views from our room amazings. not air conditioner, but the breeze of the sea, it is enough. No amenities, but you should know that you are in paradise, you dont need nothing else. very rustic, dont expect amazing services and comfort. very good restaurants around.

Loved everything about Azulik and Tulum. Glamping at its best!
