We spent 5 night there the property was nice rooms were clean and spacious. The pool was nice, The staff was friendly and helpful. Overall it was a pretty good stay. Cons: the lobby, bar and most of the restaurants don’t use AC the doors are kept open certain spots would have a good breeze but the restaurants were HOT! Disappointed Stay – Not What We Expected We stayed at the Wyndham Alltra Cancun All Inclusive Resort and unfortunately, our experience was far from enjoyable. From the moment we arrived, the check-in process was frustrating. Our group was separated—even though I speak Spanish and my in-laws do not. It felt intentionally misleading and created unnecessary confusion. Room service was another major letdown. Despite being advertised as “all-inclusive,” we were charged a fee every time we ordered to the room. We also weren't allowed to take food up to our room ourselves if we picked it up, which made no sense and was very inconvenient. One of our rooms had a broken AC that didn’t work for several days—completely unacceptable in the Cancun heat. It took far too long to be fixed. To top it all off, we were constantly approached by a pushy timeshare saleswoman. Even after saying we weren’t interested, she continued to pester us throughout our stay, which really disrupted the vacation vibe. There were two managers who attempted to help towards the end. They were very sweet. But it was too late. Trip ruined. Overall, this resort did not deliver on its promises. Between the misleading check-in, hidden fees, poor room maintenance, and relentless sales pressure, we left feeling disappointed and won’t be coming back. This was not the relaxing vacation we had hoped for. Would not recommend and definitely won't be returning. At least not to this resort.

The folks there very polite and helpful. Twice, they surprised us with well-planned and generous gifts celebrating our anniversary. The room was immaculate and beautiful. The pools and beach were perfect.

Overall it’s okay for the money you pay staff is very helpful food is average restaurants is like don’t have the Italian one maybe use good we try to get get in every time they was saying you have to wait 1 to 2 hours and if you come tomorrow at 5 pm you can have a table we went 5 pm still they told us at 7:30 we had to wait 2 hours and haft I told keep for your self. And we eat all week only buffet. Beach is perfect only they have to add more umbrella for shade the room was clean but had one smell when you wake up every morning we had sore throat pain.

My daughter loved the kids club and the water park. Food and service were excellent, our favorites were the the Italian and sunset restaurant. The resort is on the smaller side with only 2 pools so it’s quite crowded. Other than that we had a great time!

Overall, we had an okay time but there are a few things to note about this resort that affected our experience. Unfortunately, myself and my partner got a bad diarrheal illness (we only ate at the resort) and tested positive for e. coli once we returned home. This resort is very family friendly which, for us as a couple, made it difficult to find it relaxing with screaming children around. I would not recommend this resort to couples, honeymooners, etc for this reason. Also, people brought their own speakers to the beach, which contributed to the experience not feeling very relaxing. we complained about this multiple times to the staff and were told that this is against the rules; however, no one was really enforcing it. On the positive side, the food was very good and the beach was clean. Our room was nice and clean.

This is our third time at this resort. We keep coming back because all around it is a wonderful place. The only down side was during check in. People from the Playa were there soliciting a coupon book. I don’t want to be bothered with nonsense like that. We couldn’t get our “rep” to stop talking so we could go to our room. But, other that that, two thumbs up.
