The resort was okay overall. Pros: The rooms were modern and smart. My xhale room had ceiling speakers, streaming, a tablet, and smart controls, which I loved. Security was excellent; you had to check in and out when leaving the resort or heading to the beach. If you are looking to party; the club there was so much fun, including led lit up floor, fog, an awesome DJ, bar and really good air conditioning. The resort put a lot of effort into the details of their themed parties. Cons: The VIP/xhale service wasn’t worth it. I booked for my birthday but received no special touches, which was disappointing. The food was mediocre. Even the hibachi was inauthentic and not good which was an additional fee, room service tasted freezer-burned, and overall dining quality fell short. Resort activities were limited to high-energy options. Things life crafts or some sort of cooking classes would have been nice. The exclusive xhale rooftop pool filled up early with no seating left, and cabanas cost an extra $90 (usually included with upgraded rooms) throughout the entire resort. You also couldn’t eat by the pool if you didn’t buy a cabana. Staff in the xhale lounge weren’t helpful and often redirected me to the general concierge. Overall, the “VIP” experience felt more like a push toward timeshare seminars than a true upgrade. The parties outside lasted until 11pm everyday and you could hear it all if you have an oceanfront view.

The property itself was overall nice property but would I ever go back absolutely NOT this is an adults only resort and it was more like a preschool so many rules it was almost like if I walk to fast I’m breaking a rule if you want to go to a senior citizen resort breathless is where you want to be.

The service and kindness of the staff was above and beyond. Everyone was truly perfect, i have never met such great people! The room, the food, the environment was amazing! Daniel the entertainment supervisor made sure we had fun! Graciela and Ricardo (head sommelier) ensured we had a great stay as well! The food at Silk City, and the chef Adrianna were one of my favorite parts. Overall everyone made sure I had an amazing birthday experience !

My wife and I recently stayed here to celebrate her birthday, and overall, the experience was very nice. We booked the Master Suite, which was absolutely amazing and set the perfect tone for our trip. We also enjoyed several activities on the property, including the romantic dinner experience. While the dinner itself was pleasant and our waiter, a young gentleman, was very kind, I did feel that the experience did not quite match the $250 price point. There were several moments where napkins had dropped or glasses were empty, and we had to look around for assistance to have them refilled. At this level of dining, I would expect a smoother, more attentive flow of service. Additionally, the food throughout the resort, including the romantic dinner, was not exceptional on any level. Given the cost and reputation, we were expecting more elevated dining. Having stayed at another Breathless property before (Riviera), I noticed a clear difference in the Exhale/VIP service. The Riviera resort offered a higher level of attentiveness and luxury customer service, which I feel was missing here. That being said, the resort itself is beautiful, and we truly did enjoy our time. With some improvements in food quality and service attentiveness to match the elevated accommodations and pricing, this resort has the potential to deliver a consistently five-star experience.

Just got back from Breathless Soul Cancun & it was worth it. Perfect spot to relax, drink without leaving the resort. Adults-only, all-inclusive, no kids. Food was decent with some hits & misses —the ribeye at the bar & grill was reallyyy good. Drinks & club/ parties were fun - typical mixed crowd. the staff was amazing as well. We voluntarily sat through a presentation and got a $5 hour long massage—that was worth it. Overall 4/5 if you’re looking for relaxing/ lounging/ no kids around and good vibes.
