This resort is absolutely stunning. I understand why they call themselves The Icon. The property is so grand and luxurious and in great location. We had the pleasure of staying at Paradisus Cancún in the second week of May for our anniversary. Our concierge Javier (Javo) was professional and friendly and took excellent care of us. He arranged dinner reservations, secured pool-side day beds and recommended activities daily. The service from ALL the staff was top notch. Our room at The Reserve exceeded our expectations and the view was perfect. We were sad to leave but will be back! Thank you!

Everything about this place was amazing! 10/10 experience. The staff went above and beyond and the service was honestly wow from beginning to end. The room was clean, the atmosphere was beautiful, and everyone made us feel so welcomed. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting. Perfect for families and such a relaxing experience overall! The only thing I would improve is the beach cabana reservation system. It would be much more convenient if guests could reserve the beach cabanas in advance instead of having to go in person the same day to request one.

Had such an amazing time thanks to Rommel! He made sure we were taken care of with everything the entirety of our stay. Had an amazing spa experience and massage. The resort is super clean and well maintained. Food is great. Special thanks to Jorge at the Italian restaurant and Roger at the steakhouse. Amazing service. Also Errick and Melvin at the pool bars were amazing as well as David the concierge at the pool. Would not have been the same without Rommel!

The property was amazing beautiful well located and clean. The food was good but the staff attention was exceptional. Alejandro was our private concierge he went above and beyond to ensure we had an amazing trip, I celebrated my bday and he truly went above and beyond. Would reccommend this experience to anyone also traveling with kids.

Abril de 2026 Llevé a mi esposa de luna de miel a Paradisus Cancún, en la sección The Reserve. Escogí este hotel por la estructura de pirámide, algo que lo hacía interesante y único en un lugar donde hay variedad de hoteles… y no me equivoqué. Desde que llegamos, mi esposa se quedó sin palabras; quedó enamorada del lugar. Dato curioso: la estructura principal con techo de cristal fue inspirada en un cenote. El mejor servicio que recibimos fue el de nuestro concierge llamado Sergio. He went above and beyond para cumplir, satisfacer y exceder nuestras expectativas. Siempre estaba un paso adelante. Si les toca Sergio, no duden en dejarle saber sus peticiones, porque de alguna forma, si estaba en sus capacidades, las cumplía. Siempre fue respetuoso y amable conmigo y con mi esposa. Servicial, atento, siempre con una sonrisa y dispuesto a ayudar. Nos encantó la experiencia. Restaurantes y buffet deliciosos. Gracias a Sergio y a todos aquellos otros empleados que fueron amables con nosotros. Honeymoon approved por nosotros; recomendado 100% para pasarla bien y relajados.

Great view, suitable for family, staff are great, pool are good, pool bar are good, food are ok need more portion on restrauant, on check in the front desk guy told us we are not allowed to go to couple of restaurants I don’t know why but when I booked no one mention that to me, buffet are ok! Coffe and ice cream area are clean and good, activities are good, there was no dance floor, pool table was not in good condition, need one more bar inside like ginger bar!

We booked through the Expedia and we got room upgrade, we had the lagoon view and they put us at the room with a beach front view … room was very clean, they clean the rooms 2x a day … never had this before … we had 24 hours room service which was pretty fast, staff was very helpful and kind everywhere we go. Pool was nice, lots of space, we went in April, so it wasn’t full of people… they have nice restaurant, food was great, one of the best hotel/resort food we had experience… the only thing I would say could be better was the drinks, not the taste, but the amount of alcohol, we felt we were drinking juice, but in our last day we started to order a shot on the side and we solved the problem. Next time I know what to do. I highly recommend to other people.

Spa was good and the coffee shop was awesome! We had some issues with resturants being closed, not a lot of options or variety in taste. The Agave had great dinner & Japanese resturant had great dinner aptz. Staff was good throughout- the rooms were a bit musty from the humidty in the hotel room but the views were nice

It was a good stay. They recently updated some things so that was good and the people and service was great. However, some places had small leaks and the air conditioner made a small noise at night. Nothing mayor that should deter anyone from going as it is an older hotel. I used to live in Cancun and used to go there as a child so I’m sure the Reno’s were needed but it’s a beautiful hotel. The greenery is nice.

Nous avons passé un beau séjour dans cet hôtel à Cancun. L’endroit est très propre, les femmes de ménage font un excellent travail et la chambre était toujours impeccable. Les piscines sont magnifiques et bien entretenues, et l’hôtel est superbe avec sa végétation intérieure, ce qui crée une ambiance unique. Cependant, le service est très inégal. Le restaurant italien et le buffet offrent un excellent service, mais ce n’est pas le cas partout. Le petit café a été particulièrement décevant : boissons mal préparées, qualité variable, et certaines excuses peu crédibles concernant des ingrédients disant être manquant mais pourtant visibles sur le comptoir. L’attitude du personnel y laissait aussi à désirer. Nous avons également remarqué une différence dans l’accueil selon les clients, un accueil minimal pour nous alors que d’autre client semblaient recevoir un accueil beaucoup plus chaleureux ce qui nous a mis mal à l’aise. Enfin, certaines expériences au restaurant ont été décevantes, avec des plats ne correspondant pas à leur description. J’ai reçu un plat de pâtes blanche, sans sauce. lorsque j’ai demandé un correction j’ai reçu un plat inondé de sauce soya seulement, se qui n’est pas représentatif a la description. En résumé, l’hôtel est magnifique et très propre, nous nous sommes bien reposée mais le service manque de constance. Avec des améliorations à ce niveau, l’expérience pourrait être excellente.

Second visit to resort. We visited the third week after reopening. We had a great trip. We used the gym, did several of the sports and cultural activities and some of the evening activities/shows. We appreciated having them available to us. The gym is excellent. We also loved the Bali beds, the coushined chaise lounges, the remodeled rooms and the 24 hour ice cream and coffee. I’d definitely come back!

This place was beautiful. The staff was very friendly. If you get to the pool side or beach seating with umbrellas by 9am you’ll have which ever seat you want. Keep in mind the beach cabanas are sold separately. Beach is beautiful but be careful there are strong currents. Swim up bar was amazing. Food was excellent many options to choose from, also a few restaurants inside. And if you are looking for excursions you can purchases them near the pool and the place is located literally across the street so you don’t have to taxi or uber anywhere. Very kid friendly. Only regret is not staying longer. I’ll be back!!

Our room was really nice. We stayed on the adult only side the Reserve. The only not so great restaurant was Capella the Italian restaurant. Food was mediocre. The lasagna was terrible small and dry from being under the heat lamp forever. Spa pool has seen better days. Also all the spas have no working functions and are not heated. The pool must have a leak since it is not full. It is not even up to the skimmer. Needs work. We still enjoyed our stay but i don't think i would be back

Paradisus Cancun was nothing short of a dream. From the moment we arrived, everything felt effortless, luxurious, and truly unforgettable.
