There was no AC in the main area, while the design is beautiful, it was too hot. Lines for coffee, buffet and concierge were long in the mornings. Was not able to get reasonable reservations for restaurants that needed advance reservations. All in all nice but expected more for the price tag.

Excellent service and location

Very disappointed with Paradisus. I have stayed at this place several times over a 10 y period. The entertainment, food and alcohol choices have all gone downhill. Paid/Reserved a luxury King ocean suite but got a cheap double ocean view room. In all the times I have stayed I have always had a king luxury suit. Some of the staff rude, seemed unhappy.

My husband and I celebrated our anniversary here (5 nights). What we LIKED: 1)The property is gorgeous, especially if you appreciate the nature. Each building has a garden with restaurants hidden inside. 2) 4 restaurants (2 seafood, mexican, italian) - need reservation. You can book up to 3 days in advance, but no more than 1 rest/night. Food was 4.5/5. My favorite was buffet. It open 6am-11pm with 1h breaks between breakfast, lunch and dinner. I found the variety of foods pretty impressive. We tipped $2-3/breakfast, $3-4/lunch, $5-10/dinner. Please, tip, because servers are above and beyond. 3) Pool are is pretty spacious and it never seems to be super busy. I'd recommend tip $5 barmen if you plan to spend time in the pool and get multiple drinks. 4) Beach is clean, safe, no need to reserve chairs (with towels :) enough space for everyone. 5) Entertainment was consistent, but just okay. They would finish every night at 10.30pm, which didn't feel like enough... What we DIDN'T LIKE: 1) SCAMMY SALES PEOPLE!!! Anyone in uniform - smile and walk away. They sold us a "private" Chichen Itza tour for $150/pp ($300 total), but we ended up in a bus where others only paid $50-70. And they refused to refund the difference, pretending it never happened. Disappointing. 2) Outlets are loose and only 1per room worked okay. Consider bringing cord extensor. 3) ATM withdrawal fees $20 => bring $1 and $5 with you. 4) Elevator hazard! Our neighbor broke his leg in the elevator accident.

We enjoy the service at the Reserve. We celebrated my sisters 40th birthday and we all had a great time. The pools, food and drinks were amazing.

Its a beautiful resort and the stuff is super nice and helpful 😊I'll definitely come back with all my family.

Do not stay here. The management is extremely rude. You pay for upgrades, but get no perks to doing so. We were not provided what was promised. Do not stay here.

This resort is gorgeous, once you get there you get a personal conserve which books your dinners, activities, & rides. You literally worry about nothing here. We are definitely coming back. They have adult areas & areas for your kiddos as well! Beautiful place, helpful staff, and some of the best food I’ve ever had!

This property is very beautiful has lots of atmosphere. The room was so comfortable you have to ask for certain amenities (hair dryer) the breakfast buffet was good and the breakfast staff and waiters are amazing. The pool side and beach service leaves a lot to be desired very slow if you even see someone Lunch and night time buffets could use better selections The 2 restaurants we eat at were excellent (seafood and i Italian ) Best idea ever is the hotel key room chipped bracelets!! This property could be one of the best if the above mentioned flaws were fixed

In this way our guests can attend at the time they like, however, keep in mind that if you decide to take this service in the last hours, it is probable that you have to stay in line for a couple minutes. We are sorry that you did not have a positive perspective of the services that our hotel offers, however, we have verified the details of your accommodation and we would like to tell you that the reservation you made was not in The Reserve accommodation level, but in the regular hotel area.We were also able to notice that the room you were given was equipped with a king size bed and had an ocean view. Therefore, you received the room corresponding to the reservation you made. All this we have in our records.If at any point there were differences between what you obtained and what you thought you had reserved, it is important that you verify this information with your travel agency, because in this case of a discrepancy between what you reserved and what you obtained may be due to errors in the management of the reservation by the intermediary you have chosen.We would also like to take advantage of this moment to tell you that our hotel offers a large number of options and services that today are appreciated and valued by hundreds of travelers who visit us daily.The options that make up the open bar are of high quality and in addition to this, our hotel makes premium drinks available to all who visit us.
