Staff is great

Nice big resort rooms are outdated but they are ok not teribile. Overall experience was good nice clean big pool area. Nice big buffet for breakfast with lots of variety of tasty food also amazing nespresso coffe bar that makes amazing coffe. Lots of pool food burger van and pizza station and taco stands around the pool for quick tasty bites. The negative is when it comes to dinner they don’t do reservations so it’s first come first serve so every night we had to wait to get seated we had lilttle kids and they couldn’t accommodate a early dinner unless you ready for dinner at 6pm first and sit down. The culinary side of the restaurants where very delicious once you got seated most nights at around 8pm and most restaurants service was decent we did have 1 night where the waiter after bringing food never came back to check if we want more drinks or needed anything found it very rude. But overall experience I would say was good.

It was difficult to walk on the beach

My not cleaned and I did not expect this. I am surprised to see that cleaners skip the room cleaning.

I don’t like the reservation system for the dining restaurants located in the hotel. Communication about reservation system was not clear on day of arrival.

Wow. Paradisus Cancun was amazing. The entire staff was very friendly and helpful. (Most of the staff spoke both Spanish and English). The property was always clean and smelled nice. The food was also very delicious. There were a lot of menu choices and it was different every day. We will definitely visit another paradisus property.

This was our 4th time staying in this Hotel because our past experiences were so above the scale that we all agreed to continue to book the same hotel every time we were going to be staying in Cancun. We loved that everyone was so friendly and attentive as soon as you would get off your transportation, they would hand you your favorite drink, the lobby was nice and cold and everyone greeted you with a smile and some even by your name. The hospitality & friendliness was what we loved about this Hotel. However this time was completely different, we arrived at our hotel and as soon as we got off the transportation we were just sent to the lobby which was hotter than outside! There was no AC in the lobby, the staff at the front desk looked frustrated (not the usual “welcome” with a smile). The staff were all in there own world, I upgraded my room and told them we were celebrating our anniversary & Mother’s Day and they didn’t do anything special. ( they use to do special things for special occasions). The beach had a lot of seaweeds so it took away from the beautiful beach. The little store there it’s a rip off, $50 for sunscreen!! The food is great all restaurants are delicious, but we personally loved how friendly and humble the servers & service was at Blue Agave. The servers there were very attentive, knowledgeable about tequilas and suggested what we should drink. Our favorite servers out of all restaurants. Filberto was our server.

It was a great first experience, if you need some one to help you with everything ask for Soni she es the best

Cockroaches infestation beware!! Nightmare experience! Booked this hotel for my family for 1 night because our flight was canceled. Check in took more than 1 hour in a line. We were given an extremely old room in building 1. Room number 1401 AC was blowing in the face non stop, so it was impossible to sleep. At 3am I went to the barroom and turn on the light. 1 cockroach was sitting on the ceiling, another one was on the floor. I stepped back, and could not believe my eyes. One more was running near the trashcan. I went back to the bedroom, turn on the light, yelled at my husband that we need to pack bags - cockroaches in the barroom. I put my clothes on and noticing another cockroach crawling up the curtains. I scream and move a suitcase - 2 more roaches running, they were sitting under the suitcase, one more under baby stroller. I screamed on the top of my lungs… I videotaped what I could and was out of the room in 10 seconds. They gave us another room with sea view. Who needs sea view when your luggage could be infested with roaches? We spent 3 hours checking our luggage and backpacks, washing and throwing away things roaches could crawl on. It was the worst night ever! I was mentally and physically exhausted. We left in 4 hours to catch up with a new flight. My family should be compensated for the real horror night we went through and for our belongings we had to throw away.
