Sweet staff, very helpful, and property conveniently located to stores and night life. My only complaints were that the first room we received the a/c wasn’t working, but they did move us to another room, then the next room had a slight smell of cigarette smoke, then they made me go put on a shirt for the outdoor restaurant by the pool because my skirt wasn’t enough as a coverup. It didn’t make sense to me since the restaurant is literally outdoors and right next to the pool. I feel that my skirt should of been sufficient because it was covering my lady parts. The food was ok. I was disappointed because being that we’re in Mexico I thought the food would be more authentic. Their chilaquiles were just hard nacho chips with salsa and not actually cooked.

I love the dream resorts but this one looks tired and needs a facelift. Could do with separate elevators for staff as you can often wait 10 mins as elevators are being used to service rooms. Don’t use the bell boy to order taxis. Example- from hotel to airport. Bell boy taxi = 750 mx pesos. Uber charged me 388. Exchange rate for taxis is horrendous. S.p.A. service was excellent but it should be at $290.00 for 50 min massage. VIP staff were great and very helpful. Some of the staff at bar could use lesson on customer service and try smiling. Rooms were excellent apart from very noisy AC unit. It sounded like a pneumatic drill. Happy other than these points.

I loved my room , my view , and how close it was to the beach . I was quite disappointed on how they treated guests that were not part of their preferred program . At first it was a running joke amongst our family , but then it became ridiculous. Straws and napkins unavailable unless you were preferred. Insane . We get the pools and top shelf spirits , but napkins and straws . The food wasn’t the best and it was usually cold . The servers we had at the fiesta on Friday were wonderful as well as the private dinner had at one of the restaurants. Not a horrible experience, but probably would not recommend.

We loved this resort as a family of 4. The beach was amazing and felt safe letting my 8 and 11 year old in the water while I was watching from afar. I also felt very safe at this resort.

Everything was amazing at Dream Sands, i regret not staying longer. We loved all the food options from the buffets to all the sit down restaurants the food was amazing. All the staff was very accommodating and attentive to our needs. I already want to plan another trip back

Beautiful property. All staff very friendly, helpful, and available. Great beach. Main pool a bit basic and older. Rooms not very soundproof. Can easily hear your neighbors. Food was great, plentiful, with nice options. There are no reservations for dinner. Worked out ok. For two nights we tried to get into a restaurant- one night it was closed for an event and the second night we were told it was a two hour wait. The “app” the property uses did not accurately list open and available dinner options at times. Overall we did have a wonderful memorable experience.
