Staff was absolutely friendly and kind, they were always checking on you, and gave me the best of them. What i didn't like much was that there was a group who give you a lot of information and make you go to others hotels to waste your time (no front desk)

It has a nice lay out, I would like to see more flowers.

Staff is very friendly. Building is very deteriorated. Food was extremely disappointing, front desk staff is NOT friendly. Front desk WILL not accommodate any request, such as a pool view or beach front view, etc.

They don't have activities for the children. No kids club or kids room, nothing for the children.

Our family of 5 visited in June. 2 adults and 3 teenagers. We LOVED the resort! We have visited Cancun before but not with minors. 1: The resort was just the right size and not small at all. Another resort we stayed before was way too big. This felt perfect. 2: The staff are the best part of this resort. Waiters and bartenders remember you. Everyone was very fun while also being professional. 3: I absolutely disagree with the entertainment reviews. We really enjoyed the beach and pool entertainment and thought the recreation staff were so funny and awesome. Even our shy 12 year old daughter got in on the pool volleyball and did the fun challenges they had for awards. 4: The only complaint we had about the food was the first night the seafood restaurant took over an hour but of course. Covid. We felt the staff really had our safety in interest in regards to Covid. No we did not always get the reservation we wanted but the buffet was decent and there is an amazing little oyster bar right next door. 5. No the location is not perfect HOWEVER on our excursion to Tulum we heard from a lot of others of how the water was having the same issues 40 minutes south in the Rivera Maya. Lots of raking and muckiness. My husband and I are planning a trip just the 2 of us for february and he insists we stay here again! It's in amazing walking distance to buses, markets, anything. Also, it's right at the harbor where the pirate ships leave and they looked super fun for late night.

I enjoyed how the majority of the staff was friendly. I did not like how there wasn’t any nightlight at the resort. It felt very boring at night.

PLEASE DO NOT STAY AT THIS PLACE - I don’t even think I will have enough space to tell you how many things have made this vacation the absolute worst vacation of my life. Would leave 0 stars if that was an option. 1- They will make you WAIT ONE HOUR every day to be able to schedule where you want to have dinner, which is different than every single hotel I’ve ever stayed in my whole life. They should be able to schedule it for the whole time you are staying in here instead of making you wait 1h every single day in a huge line. 2- They will just say they have something to deliver to your room when you NEVER asked for anything - 11:30pm towel, 2pm water - waking up my baby TWICE during these two interuptions - besides that, they will just knock twice and OPEN THE DOOR. 3- The room is AS NOISY as it can be. Constructions right besides the hotel, people yelling all the time, staff walking by with huge and noisy carts, parties that goes after 11pm and EVERY SINGLE ROOM have absolute no noise cancelation. 4 - Smelly rooms - with BAD SEWER smell. 5 - They exchanged our room since the first one had so many issues, but even the second one had a BROKEN handle and/or lock. 6 - Kids room NOT FUNCTIONAL but there is 0 advertisements on their website mentioning that - only reason we booked this place 7 - If you try contacting them, good luck - you will have to contact the main MyBarcelo and they usually know nothing about the locations and what’s going on, meaning you will be able to acco

I did not like nothing, customer services is terrible, food is horrible, I was transfer to another hotel the same night of arrival.

It was okay. The only thing I didn't like was that the bars close at 11:00 and they got to better the food and the buffet

Overall the resort.

I didn’t like the fact that they wanted to charge me for a lost room card at check out. Luckily i was able to find on time. I did like the buffet and the people at the bars, entertainment and pool.
