Though we have stayed in all inclusive resorts before, this was our first trip to Cancun. We loved it. It was exactly as we thought it would be. The staff was outstanding. Anything you needed was usually there before you even had to ask. We would definitely stay here again!

Overall, we liked our stay here very much. There was much to like, from the beach to the entertainment to many of the resort staff. We had exceptional service from some waiters and hostesses. There was plenty of food and beverage throughout the day and night. The NYE celebration was awesome. We were accommodated for well, and I would certainly recommend this place. However, there were a few "imperfections" here. It was annoying that sales pitches were constantly made for the same things, again and again. No thank you, I'm not interested in taking a long taxi ride to some other resort for breakfast. I'm simply not interested in snorkeling, regardless of how many times you ask me. No means no, plain and simple - your pestering is noticed. Next, it is absurd for the spa/gym to hold your form of ID (passport) if you need a locker. If you're fine with letting some stranger hold your passport just to use a locker, this place is for you. One night at an event, a vendor really made us uncomfortable. A random man, dressed nicely, asked us for our names and said that it was for the event. He came back and gave us some artwork with our names on it, clearly expecting a tip. We said no and gave it back to him. This was beyond awkward, and the hotel should not allow this. The waiters at the buffet seemed to be overworked and could not timely help guests. Also, it would be even better if this was a no smoking facility, but that's just my own wishful thinking.

My wife and I recently had a 4 night stay. We enjoyed our stay. The resort is well kept, clean rooms, clean public areas and clean grounds. The staff is very friendly and welcoming. The daily activities were fun. The evening entertainment was enjoyable. The lobby bar evening entertainment was very very good. The beach is small, but for us that is not a negative. There is only one swimming pool, but again not a problem for us. We enjoyed our meals at both the buffet and the specialty restaurants. The only thing that would want is that free wifi be included in the package.

The staff is helpful and nice! The hotel is beautiful. They have daily entertainment. The most comfty beds. Only downside is the food didn’t taste too good and not authentic Mexican food, they stuck more with “Americanized food”. However I still loved the hotel and experience.

This is a resort that makes u feel like your home only better. The drinks and food were great. U just need to get up and make your times to the 3 other places to eat. Even the buffet was very good. The room was great same number but 4 stories higher, great view. Location good, bus service right out front. All the people I talked to said they really liked it here too. I had a very nice time there. People are very funny,the food is so good. The beach is clean and everything was amazing.

We did the all inclusive. Staff were friendly and helpful, the grounds were kept clean and picked up, room was cleaned every day but did have to ask for coffee, water or mini bar stocked a couple times. The food was excellentfrom 4 restaurants. The buffet usually had a good variety.

The staff made our trip great. Marisol at the kids zone, the entertainers Clarisa, Serena, the guys, the bar tenders, maintenance ladies. Everyone made an effort to provide the best customer experience. I would say, the only thin that was a bit uncomfortable was the show in the evenings. They were a bit too loud. Overall, a great experience at this resort.

We had to remind staff to clean the room. The food was salty. They used cheap liquor for the all inclusive member, you had to pay extra for decent alcohol. The staff were rude most of the time. I won't stay here again

We felt we were treated even better than a 5 star hotel. The staff is great. Marisol at the Kids Zone along with Juan, Serena, Clarisa, the dance instructor, the DJ, provided many activities all day long for everyone who wanted to participate. The room maintenance ladies were great as well. The hotel has a nice beach. Three great restaurants with different options all day long. The lobby has comfortable couches and a duo playing music in the evenings. The bars are everywhere you couldn't be deprived for a nice, cold drink. The bar tenders were always walking around "residents" to offer drinks. We wouldn't feel more welcomed at this resort. Thank you to all the staff.

Our stay at this hotel was just ok, not worthy of recommending. First off, the wifi was extremely useless in the rooms,l. We were under the impression this was included (free) but instead I pod $12 per day per device! Not good! It's almost as if we were treated poorly once we spoke Spanish. The lobby staff directed us toward a visit of their other Occidental location and it ended up being nothing but a chance to sell us on either a $30,000 25yr commitment or $20,000 plan to pay $225 per month for "future vacations" a complete waste of our time. (Nearly 2 hours)

It was nice to stay there. Every thing is good except 2 things. 1. No internet access in the room. 2. The hotel policy for men to ware closed shoes is nonsense. When I booked the hotel, no one or no where is stating that.

very clean hotel staff was very friendly. small beach next to harbor. but local beaches near by. staff was very good arrived later than 12 am due to plane delay was taken care of night staff was great. the whole experience was wonderful. my wife and I travel a lot and this was a great time. stayed 6 days would recommend this hotel. when we go back will stay their again. I read all the reviews before booking this hotel most were good the bad ones I found they were not correct.

This resort is a small resort with beachfront property. The grounds, resort and room was very clean. The staff extremely accommodating and friendly. However, this was the most UNRELAXING vacation I have ever taken! No matter where you went on the property, there was constant noise and commotion. For some unknown reason, they have a stage in the courtyard with speakers facing the resort rooms. Not only was the entertainment mediocre, but was so loud in our room you couldn't even hear the t.v. - let alone sleep. Constant, loud, inappropriate music in the courtyard, restaurants, hotel lobby and beach. One day as I was trying to relax on the beach and about to fall asleep, a group of people playing drums showed up to pass out tee shirts! One evening while deciding to stay and watch the courtyard show, we were unable to hear it due to the piano music that was playing in the lobby of the hotel! The music in the restaurants was so loud you couldn't visit and so abrasive you couldn't wait to leave the restaurant. I go on vacation to relax and disengage. This trip made me want to come home and get some peace and quiet. The resort is to small to sport outdoor entertainment in the evening. Do what you do best - provide a place where people can relax and enjoy themselves instead of being bombarded with poor entertainment and loud noise!

The pool area and lobby bar were very good. Unfortunately, I asked for double beds and the hotel staff never got back to me. The hotel staff are not very friendly. The activity entertainers were not friendly.

Excellent service, but I didn't like the way how we should do the reservation for the restaurant during the dinner time The concierges have their own rules different than the rest of the staff for the reservations.

Overall this is a great Hotel to go to. The people are extremely friendly and everyone there is amazing. People really do care about you and if you're having fun. They also accommodate to your every need. A friend of mine and I got separate rooms but they were very close to the beach and we literally just opened our back door and walked to the beach. The food was amazing from all 4 restaurants. They also have things you can check out to take to the beach at no additional cost. Also internet is not free but if you buy the bundle you can get it at almost 8 bucks a day per device.

Lo excelente: Ubicacion, los alimentos y los meseros en el restaurante Albatros, playa, alberca y shows del hotel. Lo malo: El personal en general (son muy descorteses), el servicio a camastros en la alberca y en la playa (se tardan mucho en atender a la gente; es mas facil que la gente vaya por sus bebidas a los bares).

Hotel was good, once we got a manager involved. Original room had a broken handle, technicians were in there for over in an hour once we got the keys and the fridge was not stocked. Once a manager got involved it took about 30'minutes for them to get it resolved. HOWEVER- there was a 500 hotel credit advertised with this hotel which is why we chose it but it was a total scam. It was up to 500 off services such as 20% off at the spa. Very very wrong to advertise! And the hotel said it clearly states that but it definitely did not online.

a nice smaller resort with great customer service.

My wife and I recently had a 4 night stay. We enjoyed our stay. The resort is well kept, clean rooms, clean public areas and clean grounds. The staff is very friendly and welcoming. The daily activities were fun. The evening entertainment was enjoyable. The lobby bar evening entertainment was very very good. The beach is small, but for us that is not a negative. There is only one swimming pool, but again not a problem for us. We enjoyed our meals at both the buffet and the specialty restaurants. The only thing that would want is that free wifi be included in the package.

great just like the last 2 times

This is a resort that makes u feel like your home only better. The drinks and food were great. U just need to get up and make your times to the 3 other places to eat. Even the buffet was very good. The room was great same number but 4 stories higher, great view. Location good, bus service right out front. All the people I talked to said they really liked it here too.
