Where do I start? When I got to the room the outside of the door was dirty - not a good sign. When I walked in the white couch had stains on it, the drawer handles were coming off and I was concerned I would be charged so I made sure to document these issues. The refrigerator was personal size and had an odor to it. It also included a wet bar with overpriced drinks. The shower was the doozy. The bathroom just kinda smelled like a combo of sewer & mold. Probably because the water didn’t drain from the shower so by the time you finished you had a couple inches of standing water that would remain there until the maid came to mop it up. The staff were more like guards. They were constantly patrolling around looking to see if someone adjusted the lounge chair or moved the on the beach lounger by an inch or two. The pool was gorgeous but the poolside bar closed an hour early. Actually the entrance to the beach routinely closed 45-60 minutes earlier than mandated. When I have stayed in Cancun in the past I have been provided with one bottle of water daily. Not this place - your first bottle of water is free but from then on expect to pay. What was good about the room? The bed was comfortable, the view was STUNNING from the balcony (the lock required slamming the door multiple times and manipulating it though) and the sounds of the waves were awesome Bottom line - Do NOT waste your money. The problems and unsanitary conditions far outweighed the view.

This Hotel is dated for sure . The staff were all great no issues there. We were only there a couple nights before flying home and ate at the restaurant 2 nights .the food wasnt bad , it wasnt great , but portions were small for what you payed !

Pros: the king sized bed was clean and comfortable. We loved our view of the beach and loved being on the beach. The cleaning staff did a great job. The pool was nice and clean . Staff friendly but not super helpful. Con’s: We received very little information about the hotel when we arrived. The continental breakfast was a joke. It was a pot of coffee and some pastries on the corner of the reception desk. I’m glad we didn’t pay extra for it. We had to take an uber everywhere because very little is in walking distance to the hotel. It’s a bit run down and in need of refreshing. The service in the restaurant was extremely slow. We only ate there once. The air ran constantly and loudly. I would not stay there again.

The resort is extremely run down and needs a lot of work. The restaurant staff were not nice and the breakfast eggs were undercooked. If I told them that they would literally be mad. There pool side chairs all need replacing as your rear end sinks down so far.. I’m sorry but not what I had hope for.

This hotel is really beat. AC was inadequate, there were no outlets save for two across the room on the far wall behind the furniture. There were USB plugs next to the bed, but they didn’t work. The bathroom door was in such bad shape that it got stuck, we almost couldn’t open it. The wind was really loud at night, making a wailing noise through the hotel. When we checked out, they tried to charge us for a dirty towel, but we talked them out of it. Food was really mediocre.

Room could use some updating. The dresser and other furniture seemed to show its age. The toilet lacked pressure to complete a full flush. The shower head pressure was. It consistent. You can hear people moving chairs above your room. The concrete construction adds to that noise.

The location and views from the room were both amazing. However, the hotel furniture and amenities are dated and need some refurbishment. The pool and beach chairs were torn and sun damaged, and the couch in the room had dark marks all over it. The room also smelled terrible, almost like sewage. Lastly, the pool was super cold. No one was swimming, because it was too chilly to enjoy it. If these types of things were better taken care of, it could be a great hotel. But it seems like management isn’t really addressing it, which is a shame. Otherwise, it was a fair stay.
