Absolutely terrible from the moment we walked in. Took almost an hour just to get checked in, and when we finally did we decided to go to the buffet after a long day of traveling because our room was not ready. Walk into the buffet and immediately started sweating because it was so hot. The food was sub-par at best but the wait staff was great. We finally made it up to the room only for our bracelets to not work so we had to go all the way back down to get them reset and back up to the room. We open the door and a wave of mildew and mold smell greets you on the way in, everything is soaked from condensation in the room the bed, the towels, the floor and it made the smell worse. Everything was dirty and broken. This was supposed to be an upgraded suite. Absolutely no way I was keeping my pregnant wife and daughter in that room much less the hotel. Go back downstairs and the staff is unwilling to do any accommodation for us so we asked for a refund and were unwilling to help because we booked through a third party. Literally said “we can do early check out but you won’t have a refund and no money for a new hotel”. We ended up canceling the entire week we were supposed to stay there and booked anothert resort that was beyond our expectations.

Just terrible! The food is awful, drinks are okay and the beds are super uncomfortable; we would wake up with lower back pain every morning. This hotel is really run down, in need of a complete renovation. We have been to Cancun many times, and we can say we hit rock bottom with this resort. Just spend a little more money and stay somewhere else. Trust the reviews!!!

The stay was between ok and good. I think if at check in more things were explained we would have had a better experience. For example we didn’t know we had to book private dining at 8am. During private dining you can order different items not on menu for the kids , the schedule of the snack bars etc

I have never written a review before but I want to warn families about the potential health hazard of this place. There was a lot mold on drapes, back door was broken, and sheets always felt damp. We all started feeling sick within 24 hours. The manager insisted it was dirt however I found mold in all three rooms that they offered to change into. They then didn’t answer 7 phone calls when Expedia called and kept ignoring me when I tried to talk to the front desk. There were a ton of ants on the ground in the activity room and almost everything was broken. Food and drinks are not great (no alcohol in drinks). We ended up changing hotels and it was so much better. I hope this helps families not make the same mistake we made.

We had issues with the A/C unit not cooling properly and a moldy smell in the room. Our rooms were not ready upon check in time, and we had to change rooms multiple times. Restaurant reservations are almost impossible to book. The food and service at the restaurants was excellent. Food variety at the buffet is ok but presentation and quality is very poor. Overall hygiene is poor in all the areas. The staff at the resort tried their best, but there were many unnecessary policies and procedures. However, there were many fun activities throughout the day, especially the Michael Jackson show, which was outstanding.

The hotel was not what was advertised on Expedia. The hotel was dirty. Food was limited and horrible. They don’t bring towels. You have to make a reservation at 8am to dine. It’s not worth it. That food is horrible also. Limited things for kids to do.

My wife, our 7-year-old daughter, and I stayed at this hotel for five nights. Unfortunately, on the first night, we were given a room that lacked basic amenities—there were no towels, slippers, or even toothpaste. However, the next morning we spoke with the manager, Brenda Sauivel, and she was absolutely fantastic. She not only listened patiently to our concerns but also generously upgraded us to one of the best suites in the hotel as a courtesy. The new room was spacious, beautifully maintained, featured a balcony with a direct ocean view, and included a private hot tub. We truly appreciated her kindness and professionalism—Brenda made a huge difference in our stay. Regarding the hotel itself, it was quite busy and full of guests, but generally well-managed. One of the highlights was the daily entertainment programs, which were consistent and lively. The on-site waterpark included four slides and a small zipline—perfect for kids. There are six à la carte restaurants, with the steakhouse being the standout. The Italian and French restaurants were also enjoyable and worth a visit during your stay. The hotel staff were friendly and helpful, especially the bartenders, who made a genuine effort to provide any drink we requested. While this hotel may not be among the top luxury resorts in Cancun, it offers good value for families looking for a more budget-friendly option. The staff is very nice. The hotel is clean. The buffet food is terrible for lunch and dinner. Very limited options, and the taste is just bland. They really have to do a better job at the buffet. I think they tried to cut cost so much that they went overboard. There were no coffee maker in the room. If you need coffee, there is a coffee maker with a few options available from 7am to about 530pm, after that, good luck... The staff is very friendly and I can see they work very hard. I think the waiters are overwhelmed at time. Many times we were seated and the tables had no napkins or spoon/forks etc., and to get it, you had to go search of it. The beach is eroded, no shades. The owners fo this resort really need to invest more in the property and get more staff for something. I will not recommend the resort or visit again. Please, the staff were very very nice, but the resort itself is a 2 star the most.

Horrible experience as soon as i got there...my room got changed 3 Times...check in was at 3 i didnt get a room until 5. Air conditioning was not working and when i aske them to look at it...i recieved an upset employee mad because he had to go check it out...when i finally got a room there we no towels to be found. I asked for towels and it took them an hour to bring them up. Worst experience ever...FIND ANOTHER SPOT

Overall experience is acceptable. We didn't like the food option offered at the buffet and snack bars; a limited menu, some days the dinner is 80% made with lunch leftovers. Breakfast option is very basic. You have to wake up before 8 am to be able to secure a reservation to one of the themed restaurants. The French restaurant is for adults only; in case you're traveling with minors. Only shampoo, soap and lotion are provided, not conditioner or upgraded toiletries (toothpaste, shower cap, etc.) We had a great experience at the Spa, great prices.

Property really runs down. We purchased VIP status and the tower we were put in was horrible. The elevators didn’t work for 2 days. They cut the power without letting us know. The food options for breakfast and lunch were very limited. Having to set an alarm for 8am to make same day dinner reservations while on vacation is ridiculous. Small portions for dinner.
