Sales ppl make us lose an entire day and was so much insisting that we end up buying one of their programs , is like u cant say not to then the pressure is so high for everyone that is impossible to get off they hand with a simple no!!!

Need a bigger selection for each meal. There wasn't much for a picky person to chose from.

Great hotel! The staff are very friendly and attentive. I paid for the cheapest room and got a huge room with a balcony and ocean view. The food was ok but they have different restaurants that you can choose from. All inclusive all day, they have bars at the pools and they can make any drinks you want which are really good.

I originally booked for 5 night but when I arrived they wanted to charge additional for my husband so I decided to just stay one night and they had charged me for the entire 5 night stay . It's over 3 weeks and still waiting for my $ back that they charged . Orbitz was very nice to help me contact them but the hotel was not accommodating and but us on hold for over 2 hours .

I don't recommend this hotel, even though they have 4 restaurants on site, they offer the same food every day, they don't have variety at all. They want to over charge for everything, I make my reservation through a third party and they didn't want to honor my price, they want to charge me extra for my son even though I had paid already. If you go to this hotel is would pay attention to the fees. I wouldn't recommend this hotel to anyone, they have clean rooms but that's the only thing. No good food, no fun activities, everything repeatedly so if you go for 5 days or more you will get tired of having the same breakfast, lunch and dinner every single day.

It was a fun experience but the hotel not was what we expect.

The best part of this whole resort is the beach!!! The most beautiful turquoise water I've ever seen. And the even better part of it is not so many people. I was surprised how many people would prefer chloride-filled pool over clean and clear beach. My room was pretty worn out, but the bed was comfortable. Excellent housekeeping services. Good quality toiletries. Front desk mostly friendly. The Italian and Seafood restaurants are good with quick service unlike the Mexican restaurant. It took them 15 min to get me a glass of water. Forget about the rest. The breakfast at La Claroboya was good quality as well as lunch in the main buffet place (I forgot it's name). The bar service was also good. Very entertaining bartenders :))

First time in Cancun - loved it! We up-graded to the ocean view suite club platinum, highly recommend. Could not have been any closer to the beach and well worth the extra cost. Our room was very clean and up dated. We slept very comfortably every night. The whole resort was well maintained and very clean. The food at the buffet and all 3 restaurants was delicious. Great variety at all. The staff were always very courteous and helpful. Did not have one bad experience. We stayed there for a week and were sad to leave. There are a lot of stairs, but this was our main source of exercise, so we didn't mind!

It wasn't a pleasant experience, there's not enough staff working at this hotel to accommodate all the guest staying. We arrived early, they were nice to let us check in BUT our room wasn't ready till after 3pm. On a different day our room wasn't clean till 6:30pm and only because we complaint 2 times. Wi-fi should be a MUST complementary service to their guest.

The overall experience was OK but I think it could have been better; we stayed at a villa (suite with two rooms and two separate bathrooms), which was nica and spacious but they decided to "fix" the air conditioning while we were there... Not so nice. Also, a staff person decided to come in after knocking and not getting a response to ask if we spoke English or Spanish... Not so nice either. I enjoyed their Ixtapa location a lot more.

It was good for the price on the beach, didn't like the drinks food was so so...hotel was short ride from the strip.

My friends and I recently went to Cancun for a week to relax and hangout. We spent our first few nights at the Live Aqua which was absolutely lovely. A bunch of our friends headed home so my one friend and I had to switch hotels. The staff was friendly and the general resort seemed clean and nice. I ended up with a horrible stomach issue on Tuesday due to the food and drink that was served at Barcelo. Also, my friend came back to Chicago only to start experiencing bug bites all over her arms. She went to the doctor yesterday and was told they were bed bug bites. Not only is this totally disgusting, uncomfortable and unfortunate, it is possible that the little creatures could have followed us home. We would not recommend staying at Barcelo after this as all rooms should be checked and DOUBLE checked by professional exterminators for bed bugs.

The service at this hotel it's just not good. At check in it took to long.I did it early to save time but when I came back they give me a different room.when I get to the room it was dirty like someone was in.then took one more hour for me to get the room.also they where remodeling part of the lobby and bar.at the pool you have to chase the personal for drinks,they didn't stack my minibar (good think I don't drink alcohol ).Second day I came back tired and my room wasn't made so have to way another hour .food was dull No a good experience overall

The hotel was clean and the staff were pleasant. The beach was beautiful and the food was delicious. The only fault is there is no free internet in the rooms/

The hotel lobby and buffet were hot . very little air conditioning. The room air conditioning was not working well. Told the front desk and they never did anything. The staff was helpful but we were always last. Mexicans first. Hard to get a drink at some of the pool bars. The beach was clean and the weather was great. Did not expect to pay for a ride to and from the airport to the hotel. $ 52.00. The guest in the room next to us talked most of the night and you could here them very well . Kept us awake.

Check in went well. They welcomed us with a tasty drink. The staff was nice. I want to thank Alberto, Nelly, Aaron and Carlos as well as other staff members but can't remember their names. They took very good care of us. Food was good. Rooms were nice and clean.

We stayed here for spring break and it was everything we wanted for the price. The food/ drinks weren't great but the pools were very nice and were not overcrowded. The staff was friendly and helpful. The hotel is pretty far from downtown but close to the bus stop. The bus is very cheap and is a much better way to go than a taxi.

We are very comfortable at Tucancun. We come to relax, play some pool volleyball, pool games and see their shows. Food is good to great. Staff is friendly and eager to please. the fellow guests are a nice mix and are nice people. There are no hassles. It may not be the fanciest hotel but we try to get there every year. We will be back.

It was a good trip to get away with my boyfriend...location and staff were great.

Great hotel! The staff are very friendly and attentive. I paid for the cheapest room and got a huge room with a balcony and ocean view. please provide my $ back
