F&B staff were unfriendly to me on several occasion. Several occasions I asked for drinks or appetizers and either had to ask repeatedly or the worker took care of other guess that were clearly there after me.At the bar they placed drinks in front of other guess and placed mine further down the bar and motioned me to go and get em. I spoke to 3 different managers about my situation and came to the realization that most of the staff were not interested in servicing a person the look like me. I’m a very calm respectful middle age man of color and had multiple encounters were staff members were smiling and polite to others and stoic looking to me. I tried my best to get passed the unfair treatment and realized that too many incidents had occurred. Once I spoke with the manger of the coffee shop, Victor, word got out of my displeasure and the service got worse. I would never go back the that place again and would probably steer clear of Cancún as a whole. The service in the Yucatán was totally different from Cancun Secrets the Vine. Never seen some many non smiling unfriendly people in a resort in my life. I’ve been to Punta Cana 2 times and the service was amazing. I give my overall experience a zero for the F&B section and average in my check in and good with room service and pool side workers Spoke with Isreal, Erica and Victor about the service on Friday. We spent over $3,000 on this vacation and I have a lot of bad memories to show for it!!!

Staff was horrible, except housekeeping, the bar and in some restaurants. The preferred rooms are the most usless upgrade ever. Rules of the resort can change at any moment. Restaurants can close anyday, also pools. Cant get change anywhere in the resort even though the issue was raised multiple times. Electricity cut off, yes i know, and didn't even accommodate or say anything. The air conditioning in one of the rooms we got stopped working and it took them hours to do something after requesting to change the room, even then they said we gotta see what is the issue first....over all horrible experience and would never recommend.

Definitely a very recommended VIP experience at The Secrets The Vine, this was such an amazing place they went above and beyond to meet our expectations. Will definitely be returning, beautiful place for adults to unwind!

It's the best hotel in Cancun. The food, the cleanliness, and the employees are always helping their guests. Mr. Antonio is always serving people, arriving at midnight in the lobby, offering them something to eat. I definitely want to return to this hotel.

This resort is way overpriced for what you get. I paid extra for the preferred club and a so-called personal butler, but it was nothing more than staff wandering the halls trying to squeeze money out of tourists. When I asked about bike rentals, the butler claimed he didn’t know of any, then tried to push overpriced scooters. Within minutes I found a local bike rental nearby for a fraction of the cost. The butler was clearly more interested in profit than helping. The restaurants are another nightmare. The food tastes good, but the wait times are beyond ridiculous. Be prepared to waste over 4 hours of your vacation just to get a meal. You end up having to decide if you want to wait forever for food you already paid a high price for at the hotel or actually enjoy the city. Either way, you lose. One morning before heading to Xplor, my girlfriend and I ordered breakfast hours in advance to counter the long wait times. When we called to check on it, we were told the order was never received because of “system problems.” We had already paid for it, but left hungry. Staff here are unreliable. On top of that, staff constantly knock on your door every few minutes, making it impossible to relax in your own room. The atmosphere is lifeless, the pools are boring with no music or entertainment, and the place feels dead quiet. The location and architecture may be beautiful, buy poor leadership and terrible operations completely ruin the experience. Do not waste your time or money here.

Overall, the hotel is very nice. Room is clean and nice, lobby is huge, pool is excellent! Staff are all very friendly. The only complaint is the long wait for dinner, hopefully they can open more restaurants in the future. However, the breakfast and room service are awesome.
