Clean , nice view of the ocean while eating breakfast, the only issue I had was when we arrived, we were ready to get our room, but we were forced to talk to concierge before we got our key, they want to sell you all these activities and ask you what you will be doing, I found that very annoying as we were ready to relax..The lady finally gave us our key.

This hotel is small, which is good but lacks many things and needs remodeling. Highly recommend this hotel if you are looking to just relax with limited activities and distractions. Waves are small which is good for kids. Not once did anybody mentioned timeshare which was great. Overall okay hotel. Only issue we had were 1. No money exchange area. 2. ATM is always empty. 3. They do not break a $20 unless you spend more that $10 .. 4. Beach swimmable area is small very limited, the rest is full of seaweed. Beware: We elected to pay at the hotel via Orbits, and when we got to the hotel they attempted two charges, 1 in U.S funds and the other in pesos. Since we have a daily limit set with our bank, we had to call the bank and the bank told us that the hotel had attempted a charger for $3000 in US funds and another for $3500 in pesos. Other than that, food price is average as US prices if not more.. example big bag of chips was $9..

Was there for a week staff are very nice and beach is great.

It was great, the staff was great just an awesome experience

stayed a CM for ten nights...had a full sized fully equipped condo with private large bedroom in bldg 2..they call it a suite..ocean fronting with two balconies.. room service and cleaning where always reliable...very pleasant staff at all levels.. at 6pm lobby bar has 2 for 1 priced drinks... breakfast buffet was excellent too.. would stay again....older bldgs with modern touches..

Grate Breakfast! Very nice palm trees around swimming pools!

Great experience. Staff freindly and helpful. Nice location. Big beach area

Great time nice beach no food after 6 pm hotel needs updates breakfast was good overall ok for the money.

This is an older hotel, but very nice. The room was great. The breakfast in the morning excellent. Exactly what we were looking for.

La pase bien y los niños disfrutaron pasamos un. Une tiempo en familia y los empleados son amigables

The more I travel the more I have come to know what is really important. At the very top of my list are a clean room and a hot shower in a hotel in a safe area. However, many want more, especially when their hard earned money is at stake. For this reason I take writing hotel reviews very seriously. I fully understand for many of you this is your vacation. You worked hard all year and you simply want to ensure the hotel is right for you. At the Casa Maya you get a very clean room, a nice hot shower, in what appeared to be a very safe area. However, make no mistake, this hotel is not for everyone! There is a good chance it’s not for you. We were traveling across Mexico ending up in Cancun where we would eventually fly home from. We spent a few days in the resort to take a much needed rest from our incredible adventure which included biking, hiking, ruins and more. Check in was about as insane as it could be. When we arrived we were swarmed by people in orange prison type uniforms. One person said, “What’s your name? What’s your name?” We had no idea what the hell they were doing as we heard the timeshare sharks in Cancun actually have gotten worse over the years. So we did the next best thing which was to try and make our way to the front desk. At that point another person in an orange uniform, very angrily said, “What is your name?” Finally I gave in and gave them our name. She said we are checking to see if you have a reservation. Better signage is needed

Fun friendly staff. Very accommodating. Hotel was very clean. Close to the beach. Not a 5 star. More budget friendly. But worth the value. Great pools. Great family environment.

Just came back from Cancun and this hotel was great for me and my 17 year old. The staff are very attentive to your needs. The beach and pool were very clean.

It's totally worth your money. the hotel is clean, Jacuzzi gets cleaned every day. the staff is helpful and friendly. our concierge Ernesto was very knowledgeable and delivers your needs. The organization skills could be better. We were promised the little sea cruise during the evening but they invited too many people and there was not enough room for everybody. The evening was wasted, the money was returned and apologies were given. Thank you Ana from reception and Luis who prepared great omelets in the morning! For the good work like yours our stay was enjoyable.

It is an older hotel but very clean and the employees are most helpful

We had our honeymoon at Casa Maya, and it was wonderful. There was a beach in the back, restaurants, buffet, and happy staff. Beds were a bit hard, but for the money paid, we got more than we expected. I would come back here for a future trip, loved it!

Staff are nice. Very good breakfast buffet. Bus stop to Cancum downtown is not far away. Bathroom needs remodel, too old fashioned.

Great beach! Perfect for families. Locals stay here too! Also, try the pizza. We are from the US and it was the best pizza we have ever had. Calm surf for swimming,

We spent the last two nights of our trip at casa Maya. It is a beautiful property where we were treated really well. We did not have a reservation but after checking walk up prices, I got on line and secured a great rate, including breakfast. The room was a suite with balcony, private bedroom and kitchen. It was very comfortable. The furniture was a bit dated, but clean. Juan by the pool was excellent!

Great, great, great, its an older hotel, but the amenities are great, great restaurant, great breakfast buffet, great activities, great pool, great beach, waiters on the beach.... have stayed here 3 times and will continue to do so!!!! great for family vacations, will not recommend for singles looking to party...
