Our room and the property facilities were updated and clean. When we checked in we were told there were 4 dinner restaurants but there were actually only 3 (one of which was the buffet). That was a little disappointing as the buffet didn’t have many kid friendly options and the buffet desserts were a little lacking. The lobby bar was nice with quick service. Another downside was that there is one small bar for the pool and beach area and it also serves one of the lunch restaurants. At times it would take a little longer to get drinks as they served all 3 areas. The entertainment was enjoyable and overall we had a great time. The water slides were a big hit with the kids! In general this was a smaller resort than we have stayed at so a slightly different experience. Again, we liked that the rooms were clean and updated, the staff was friendly, and the food at the 2 restaurants was good!

Overall our stay was good. The staff was friendly and everything was kept clean. They did a very good job clearing out the seaweed every morning. The food options were limited and the buffet was very small, but it helped that it changed daily. There weren’t enough umbrellas for a nice shade by the beach, but the pool had plenty. It was a calm, family friendly place. They had some activities but it did not feel like a party hotel. The small water park had about 6 big slides and the rest was a children’s area. It would be helpful if they added pads at the end of the children’s slides, because every time they landed on the hard concrete floor. The beach was nice.

Stayed for 4 nights with 2 small kids- (7 & 3) and they had so much fun. The water park was awesome and the beach was free of seaweed. The main pool was very lively and we spent most of our time there. Food was really great we actually liked the buffet food a lot. There’s not many restaurants but the buffet food changes every night. The grill at lunch was our favorite and my kids enjoyed the chicken nuggets, fries and onion rings from the beach snack bar. We had the ocean view suite and it was HUGE! Loved that the living area was separate from the bedrooms and we had a huge balcony to look at the ocean. The property was very clean and our room was cleaned every day. I did notice a mildew smell in the main building on the lower floors which but I stayed in the building closer to the water park and smelled nothing bad in that one. It’s conveniently located next to playa langosta so if you have an excursion planned it’s so easy to get there. We traveled here for my son’s birthday and I mentioned that in my booking so I was a little disappointed when there was no bday surprise for him like they do at most resorts. Even at the restaurant we told our server and he didn’t do anything. Maybe because we didn’t upgrade to “the level” package. I would stay here again because it’s clean, convenient and close to the hotel zone.
