The staff was friendly. And the service was great. But the food was horrible . And all the liquor was cheap and water down. I believe other members who have timeshare there were getting Stronger liquor top shelf. It's a shame, but my family and I went out to eat every day and night.

This review is not related to the service provided by all the staff members, as they did an excellent job! However, as someone with an MBA and a Certified Business Consultant, I believe that the executive staff is missing a unique opportunity to offer excellent amenities. While I understand that there are limitations given the CoVid-19 situation, there were definitely areas where more offerings could have been in place. The food, while good, was very limited in selection. Dining is perhaps the one area where tourists are captivated. The selection was limited and the menu consisted of basically the same meals, simply with different complicated names. The breakfast never varied, as it was the same identical menu each of our 7 days. The snack bar, next to the pool area, was only open from 12-5, extremely limiting the amount of time for one to enjoy a burger or hot dog while pool side. Other resorts maintain the snack bar open for an extended amount of time, upwards of 10 hours. Additionally, the coffee was simply not pleasant. This is another amenity that other resorts have in open for people to enjoy. The pool side drinks bar was also limited in time from 11-6. While the lobby bar was open, anyone on the pool deck couldn't enjoy a drink at a different time without having to walk inside the lobby. The Entertainment Team were awesome, but were also limited in what they could offer. I understand there are many regulations imposed by WHO, but GR Caribe missed a great opportunity!

We were beyond excited for our stay at Caribe Solaris.... and then we showed up. Upon check-in, the front desk staff advised us that when booking on Orbitz, I selected 2 adults and 2 children (Orbitz adults are 18 and kids are 0-17y/o) we had our 9 and 16 year old boys with us. When we added out 16 y/o, the price increased by $800.00usd so I knew we had paid for an extra "adult" guest. Due to the way Orbitz booked it, we were told to call Orbitz (where we sat on hold for more than 30 min in the lobby) to get it corrected OR pay ANOTHER $800.00. When we finally got Orbitz on the phone, they contacted the hotel manager and advised we booked it correctly and had already paid im full. They then asked us to re-book as 3 adults 1 kid (which lowered the price by $200, however once they saw the lower price, they said everything would be left as is). I was told to go wait back in line (now many people are there for check in) to check into my room, which wasnt ready for another 2 hrs. After that major inconvenience, the week went on. Limited pool games, entertainment staff didnt make personal connections like we've experienced in other all inclusives and the bar staff seemed overworked. I wouldnt recommend this property in the future. We ended up leaving after 4 days to go to the JW Marriott where we were treated like royally. Also, this resort doesnt have a disco/club for adults at night. Everyone just crams into the lobby bar as you watch extremely drunk adults falln on kids. BAD

The staff was extremely friendly. I did not want to leave. Everyone greeted me with a smile from the housekeepers to the chefs. The food was amazing. The staff in the lobby bar was super friendly and kept me entertained. The staff at hotel beach restaurant, Bogavante was accommodating and sincere. Thank you GR Caribe Solaris. There was one down side, on my last day I sat through a presentation with staff members of the Solaris club. They spoke to me about essentially getting a time share, I was not sold on the idea and I also do not like making decisions on the jump. The more I declined their offer the more people they brought in to speak to me. That left a bad taste in my mouth and was rather distasteful. There is nothing wrong with advertising, but I feel like no means no without any questions. My experience today with being haggled by sales representatives to buy a time share could really have changed my point of view on the property but that wouldn’t be fair to the men and women who work so hard to make my experience a great one.

The property was beautifully kept and the staff was superb.

I loved the delicious food variety at the buffets and restaurants included. The beach was wonderful as well as the pool and the service was great too! Highly recommend and will come back!

The two resorts were conjoining and could use all inclusive at both Didnt like that you could here everything from the other rooms

They should have something that shows what activities are planned for the day and time

Very nice hotel - A la carte lunch and dinner, cool activities like water aerobiks with Jorge. Every evening, there is a different show on, each of them unique and performed by professionals, making it a spectacular experience.

Everything you will ever need for a relaxing vacation is at GR Caribe and connecting Hotel. Eduardo in the cafeteria every morning and Ericka are spectacular. The kids club staff at Royal was also wonderful. Thank you also to Saul , the concierge for all his knowledge and advice on where to go, how much to pay, etc.

This property is currently undergoing much needed renovations. I wish I would have been made aware prior to booking. The swim up bar was out of commission and there was a ton of noise

Says 5 stars hotel but to us was 3 stars Sorry In general you can be there

Family with small children

The staff was friendly. And the service was great. But the food was horrible . And all the liquor was cheap and water down. I believe other members who have timeshare there were getting Stronger liquor top shelf. It's a shame, but my family and I went out to eat every day and night.
