The property and staff were great. The room decor was a bit off. Our room was pretty big and certainly could have held two chairs, just a place to sit other than the bed would be nice. Several properties surrounding the immediate area seemed to be vacant and in disrepair, not the fault of NYX, just sad to see.

I booked this all-inclusive hotel with a group of people for my trip after reading good reviews and seeing beautiful photos. It wasnt the cheapest, nor the most expensive in Cancun's hotel zone and seemed to give us everything we needed. 2 upscale themed and one all-purpose restaurant on site, pool, gym and even a beach area covered with palm trees. Very clean. Most other hotels I looked at didnt have that coverage on the beach. I thoroughly enjoyed the organized activities and played beach volleyball every day. Here is what I didnt like. All-inclusive was not all-inclusive despite having booked this through Expedia. My party and I were immediately disappointed during check-in when we were offered to upgrade my all-inclusive experience to 'premium' all-inclusive for $50 USD per day. There were restrictions to the restaurants on the property as well as the drinks. One of the restaurants required a 5-night minimum stay to be included and the drinks were very weak bottom shelf. The all-purpose restaurant that was available for breakfast, lunch and dinner has a buffet option for breakfast and dinner but it seems over the days that a lot of the food was very similar without a lot of protein meats or fish as options. Ill be honest and say that as my first all-inclusive experience, I was disappointed. I've heard wonderful things from friends that have gone to full all-inclusive hotels that were disappointed in this hotel and I won't be coming back here. Expedia needs to do better.

The staff were absolutely amazing and friendly. They really looked out for us and made sure we had an amazing stay. The location is amazing with the mall across the street and the Caribbean Sea is literally right there with an amazing beach

I really enjoyed my stay at NYX Hotel in October 2025. The beach and water were very clean, and the food was good. Although there aren’t many restaurants at the hotel, all the staff were very nice, kind, and professional. I will definitely come back!

There are things I would recommend for the hotel to improve for example, the staff needs to pay attention on the service, as I was waiting for spoon or something 10 minutes for them to bring. The room was ok as some of the lights were not working which I had to call to come fix it…!

Excellent service! I was surprised when I opened my room at night from my tour. There was a balloon with birthday logo, and outside my door the next morning also. Front desk were helpful when I asked about direction and even taught me some Spanish words. Food was great. Cocktails are only basic but we just need alcohol anyway so tell them to make it double 😉.Perfect place if you dont like to party and front beach is spectacular.

The resort was clean and the staff was friendly. The only complaint was the strong pressure almost daily to listen to an hour and a half talk ( time share presentation) in exchange for extra services. The pressure to sell us that was so intense we tried to find ways to sneak past the front entrance just to avoid getting pressured again.

Would have appreciated knowing the hotel was under MAJOR construction.. nothing says vacation like the constant sound of a jackhammer, saw, and hammer! The food was really limited, am I’m not a picky eater. The wait staff was not friendly with the exception of a few. The front desk did not give good instructions for the resort. There was not a hot tub as advertised. Our room was clean, spacious, and stayed cold- loved that! The hotel was very dead after 6pm and there was a pool table that required quarters… not very all inclusive. The beach was lovely and the constant seaweed upkeep was outstanding. As a person who travels to Cancun 3-5 times a year, I would not recommend this hotel compared to all of the others we’ve stayed at. We were bored and hungry.. but grateful to be in our favorite vacation spot! Try the RIU or Hyatt properties!
