It's a beautiful property and we took the sunset view! Restaurants are awesome and most staff are really courteous and helpful. The best restaurants are agave, gourmet marche and cabana lounge on the 18th floor! Score sports bar was very ordinary and they just served one type of beer! Grazie is an italian restaurant and the food is ok. Jade - asian restaurant had amazing staff but the food is really bad! We ordered some wraps/rolls and it was so hard that it felt like rubber! All the dishes were horrible and i guess most guests have left similar feedback! Perhaps the hotel needs to look at getting a new asian chef! The hotel has adequate evening entertainment. Here are some not so great experience that we had: 1. We reached the hotel at 7 am and though we had communicated this to the hotel about couple weeks in advance, they did not give us a room till 3:15pm. We were ok to pay for early check-in but thef ront desk did not give us any option. There were guests who started coming in by 8am onwards and they were all given rooms around 1-2 pm but not us! 2. I'm a Marriott bonvoy gold elite member and book this property property so that we get the benefits of being on their loyalty program. If you are a Marriott bonvoy member, it would be prudent to book through Marriott as they do not upgrade you or do early checking since we booked from orbitz! The staff said we cannot upgrade you because you booked through orbitz!

All of the staff was so attentive and just absolutely amazing! Especially Felipe the bartender!

Last time I came to Cancun I stayed at Rui Las Americas and I came expecting the same experience from Royalton. I was extremely let down. Not only, is everything up sold to you. Be prepared to pay more for what you already paid for. My best friend and I got severely sick within the first few days. The service was good occasionally. The entertainment was just ok. The food was sub par and likely what caused our upset stomachs. The beach was better than Rui’s beach. The rooms are nicer but smell. We woke up every morning with sewer smell coming out of the shower. The bed was hard as a rock. Everyone is welcome to the roof top parties but only diamond club gets included drinks everyone else has to pay for what we already paid for. Every activity like tequila tasting is upselling. Every restaurant tried to sell you on better liquor than what’s included in the all inclusive. Save your money, go experience a true all inclusive and go to Rui Las Americas!

This is one of the best properties that we have been in Mexico, the food is excellent (lobster at the biffer) the service was amazing, and most importantly very respectful employees, when being offered and activity or tour by telling them not interested once, they respectfully accepted our no. Rooms are huge very clean, didn't have the need to upgrade to diamond club, as the only difference is being to the left side of the beach with a few more umbrellas, and premium liquor that can easily be solve by the guys better. I'll recommend the hotel to any couples, that want to have everything accessible, since this is not a huge resort where you have to take trolleys to go eat or return to your room. Thank you Royalton for making our vacation very memorable.

Been to Mexico many times and highly recommend this resort on all aspects. Great pool, amazing staff, good food, lots to do and and amazing beach location. We will be coming back.

Very clean property and felt safe during this pandemic. Staff was very friendly. Loved the buffet and restaurant staff too. Loved the convos we had. Came during Food & Drink Week and the South American BBQ was bomb!

The customer service was superb!!!

Loved it was adults only and all inclusive! The staff was super nice too and love they have bracelets as a room key VS those cards we all seem to misplace! Food was good! Pool was nice and they had a show or event nightly which was nice too. Covid testing also available at the end of your stay. Good area and was walking distance about 15 min walk to a souvenir shopping area. Would stay again! I liked this hotel as well as the Hyatt Zilara.

Service was amazing, especially the beach crew. Food was ok, nothing to be remembered. Crowd super loud, that gives the resort definitely a less than 5 stars experience
