The hotel was just ok. One of the queen bed mattress had a big indentation in the middle so was uncomfortable and kept rolling inwards during sleep. Fire alarm went off 3 or 4 times in the early morning (for no reason) waking us up. We were on the 13 floor so it was a hassle to get an elevator up or down due to elevators not functioning/broken and packed with people. We had 2 Butlers but didn't see them after the first day and didn't find them overly helpful or needed. Food was average, sometimes below average. The best meals we had were breakfast in the buffet. One of the main considerations in booking the hotel was the promoted $600 hotel credit but was disappointed to receive a coupon book upon check-in with $15-25 off different purchase options such as bottle wine or spa services. It felt like that was misrepresentation of the hotel credit benefit--it was more of a discount coupon book which we really weren't able to use. On a positive note, the location on the beach was beautiful. Also, the evening entertainment was good. We love Cancun and had a nice holiday overall but would not stay at this property again.

Staff was nice esp. Beatriz, the housekeeper. Special mention to Eliseo, from the restaurant, who gave me the papaya I requested on 12/27 when I couldn’t find it on Elements Buffet Restaurant. Other waiters like Fernando(Jaime), Ricardo and Edival were so friendly and accommodating. The place was so clean and bed was comfy. It is a walking distance to shopping malls. The restaurants serve good food but you need reservation to most restaurants except the Elements Buffet Restaurant. Food in Elements were good but because I have been to RIU, Warwick Hotel and Moon Palace, I would say their food is very limited. The good thing is they can prepare the food according to your request, like no salt, no pepper, etc. Also, they are open for long hours. There was Free Room Service and they are so quick, within 10-15 minutes, it was delivered to my room on Xmas Day. We couldn’t close the shower door but when I requested a repair it was done so quickly. Entertainment was all night during our stay. My 2 daughter(24) and special son(22) enjoyed it. We will come back to this place!

Nice, small (compared to some in costa mujres) so intimate and cool. You can easily get to know ppl. Some parties here and there, could improve to make it more adult type. Change Adult to an actual Adult like over 21…I’ve seen more families with younger kids 18+. Overall, I would return, door place and decent food. Beautiful Beach!!!

We had an amazing stay at this hotel in Mexico. From the moment we arrived, the service was outstanding and made us feel truly welcome. The staff was always kind, attentive, and ready to help with anything we needed. A special mention goes to our butler Esteban, who provided exceptional service throughout our stay. Pros. Service location pool beach staff. Cons. Buffet. Room service. Party scene. I stayed at the royalton chic from December 14-20 This was my first ever all inclusive experience so keep that in mind when reading my review. If you want to be pampered and taken care of and enjoy the beach and a great day time party scene at the pool this is the place. The staff was so warm and helpful. Samara and Esteban were my diamond club butlers and were both incredible. They keep you updated and informed about all events and really go above and beyond to make sure you’re having a great stay. Disappointments. The elevator situation can be rough. First day I waited 25 minutes for an elevator. The next few days were smooth but it takes a few minutes when ordering an elevator. The room service options were somewhat limited and I was disappointed with the quality of the food. However, the quality of the food at the on site restaurants were good overall. Bottom line. Staff here is incredible, everyone speaks English and will gladly indulge in your broken Spanish if you so choose. The spa is Devine, the beach is perfection. Both pools are a blast. I was a bit disappointed with the on site activities, tequila tasting and some other events got canceled last minute. And the room service options could improve. Overall I give the property a 7.5/10… diamond club is a must. And the staff is spectacular. Don’t use the tap water. Viva Mexico 🇲🇽
