We really love this place! We rented a suite for two nights at about $60CDN per night and got a fully equipped, spacious apartment that must be at least 800 square feet. It is very clean and quiet but located on a side street in a nice commercial district full of all types of restaurants and services. Security is good and there are coffee shops right across the street and next door. Plus it is a world away from the touristy hotel zone. Not sure if we will ever return to Cancun but if we do we will certainly stay here.
We had very little time for a vacation and with so short time I decided to try something different. To my surprise this tiny place was very accessible, affordable and quiet. The cafe next door had great breakfast for cheap. The place is not fancy nor resort quality but for the time was perfect! We did expeditions and lots of activities in a short period of time so we only needed a place to crash. Is right in the center of downtown and you can walk safely everywhere. I look gringa but since I speak Spanish as my first language it was just fun!
Not a resort but still 5 star for the service we received from front desk, security, and the cleaning staff. The location is a 4 min walk to everything you need in the city and the prices were reasonable. The front desk even asked our opinion on the new rooms for future. The cafe was amazing too Gets busy on the weekends. You get to experience real Mexico. I'd definitely stay here again.
The rooms are inexpensive and clean staff was great. We stayed there while looking for a long term rental in Playa Del Carmen. Was a good experience . the only drawback is there is NO Parking for the hotel. $26 a nite can't beat that!!!!!
We reserved a suite here for the week and paid 1/4 the prices of the resorts in the hotel zone. The room service was excellent. They set up a taxi ride for us back to the airport. The cafe next door was so convenient. The room was actually larger than what we needed. The shower was nice and hot and the room was clean. The only downside was that very little English is spoken here. I would recommend you know at least some Spanish if you plan to stay here. One nice positive is that taxi rates from here are 1/2 what they charge from the hotels in the hotel zone. Nader is a quiet street compared to one block over on Tulum.
I stayed here only one night due to a layover on my way home. The staff were so helpful when my flight was delayed yet again, and let me stay loner in the room at no charge. Good size room, clean, working fridge and TV. Location was great - there was a street festival on when I arrived and food just around the corner if the cafe next door isn't open (after 6pm). Cafe breakfast was delicious.
I booked this spot on the fly during a crazy last minute trip. I was so happy that it was so Close to the ADO bus station. I only staid there one night but would not hesitate to stay again. I arrived after hours and was traveling alone. The man at THe desk was extremely pleasant and helpful. He told me of a oxxo store near by and showed me to my room. The property was secure and I felt very safe. The room was beautiful and drinking water was provided. The bed was so comfy. I had the best night sleep there in a long long time.
The suite was spacious and had everything we needed. If people talk loudly in the patio area, you definitely hear them, but otherwise no complaints whatsoever. We had to extend our stay and the staff went out of their way to accommodate us - they were super nice! The Café Nader next door is great for breakfast, lunch or dinner. There's a little coffee shop across the street, and another called El Buho just up the block. There's also an Oxxo about 2 blocks away. Extremely reasonable prices and very central.
I'm writing this review in a room with ineffective windows while listening (with earplugs in) to every word in a pre-6am conversation between the restaurant staff. The road noise is terrible as well. The suites are very spacious and well appointed for 50$, but the bathroom could have used cleaning... our fridge still had someone else's meal in it... Our water cooler and a few other things in our room were broken (though quickly resolved by the staff). I'd much rather have paid for a smaller room with better sleep quality...
Me and my girl have stayed in the hotel for two nights after our arrival in Mexico and before starting our backpacking trip through Mexico. + friendly staff (p.e. we could print our boarding passes in their office) + clean rooms + near to ADO bus terminal + cheap prize - a little noisy when other guests use the terrace. But altogether you can day it's a perfect place to stay for a few days. To get to the beach our the city it took a while...
