Very clean, great service, beach was clean and so petty. overall great time!

I have stayed at many Riu resorts. This was the least expensive of all that I have stated. I was pleasantly surprised with the cleanliness, dining options, several of the specialty restaurants were great, and we saw a couple of pretty good shows at night. My first complaint would be at Peak times the buffet would run completely out of food so it would seem, and they would be slow in refilling such items. My other complaint would be no room service and even though we had a beachfront room with a private pool the hallway that we had to go through to reach our room sometimes smell like cat pee. I would say even with these deficiencies for the price of our trip we found this to be an excellent selection and would stay here again

Resort was completely remodelled June 2023. Family friendly, but separate adults only pool, swimup bar, and wild pool parties several nites a week. All clean fun. I’m definitely returning in 2024. Solo male from los angeles.

I really liked the extra beach since the renovation. I’m still not sure about the pools to choose from.

We love RIU Caribe. It’s very clean and the staff are some of the nicest people you will ever meet. They do go the extra mile to accommodate you.

I rarely review a stay but this property warrants my speaking out. On our first day, a beverage staff person enter our room without knocking when we were in it. My daughters were showering and coming in and out of the bathroom undressed and he just walked right in. He didn't speak English and was putting his hands all over the bottle dispensers but would not stop. I called the front desk and his supervisor removed him from our room. I told the manager on duty, Nathan, that this was totally unacceptable for hotel staff to walk a hotel room unannounced. What continued to be a disappointment was that management took no responsibility for their employee's actions. The employee was put on notice and wages were taken from him for the week but the hotel did not take responsibility for his actions. Their response was to give us a free massage which Nathan, the manager, said they give resort guests for their birthday. I was not impressed. The food was absolutely horrible. Each time we ate we had stomach and intestinal problems as if they were putting additives in the food to make us feel full. I have been to many all-inclusive resorts and have never experienced anything like this, especially for the amount of money we paid to stay there. There were no servers around the pool and no room service. Highly unusual for an all-inclusive resort. The rooms need updating. There were 2 outlets that worked in our entire room. Not even the outlets in the main lobby were working. DO NOT STAY HERE.

There was not anything to do, nothing food after 10:30 pm

Most of staffs were rude. Foods are extremely bad. Only pina coloda was wonderful:) Cabo Riu was much better than Riu Caribe. I was alone, so I could handle with everything . But I wouldn’t like to go with my fam.

Riu’s are typically well- managed, clean and affordable. It was our first time to Cancun and this was a good choice. The food was great. The pools were clean and they had activities.
