The best bar is in the Finest Club. Plenty of food options. Place needs a few renovations. It was better a few years ago

When booking a vacation my expectations are to relax and enjoy I read reviews and make sure I follow the rules, so I don't put myself in any situation where my expectations of enjoying and having a pleasant time is jeopardized. I chose this hotel to celebrate my daughter's 18th bday (group of 12) and I must say they went above and beyond to accommodate us for dinner and did an amazing job at making every dinner special for my daughter. The cleanliness, the activities and most staff were great. They do have dress codes for restaurants which I made sure we all followed, for the beach restaurant it says we can wear swimsuits with cover ups, which we made sure we followed. the first day we used that restaurant i had a 1 peace swimsuit with a see through cover up shirt that was open, no pants, others in my party had 2 pc swimsuit with a sarong style cover up, no shirt, and so on. We had no issues to enter. We try to use the same restaurant 2 days later and this time i was wearing a 2 pc and a sarong, we came across one of their staff called Yesenia, she told us we couldn't go in bc we did not meet the dress code for the beach restaurant, that i needed a shirt. I decided to look around and noticed that there were other women with just their swimsuit as shirts, man with no shirts, etc. Lazaro her supervisor backed her up. although their boss apologized for me feeling discriminated, and tried her best to calm the situation, the reality is she discriminated. very unpleaseant endeed

Great property! Very nice amenities! EXTREMELY kid friendly! They provide all baby needs even will clean and sterilize baby bottles for you! We will definitely be visiting again!

This was my first time going to Cancun and also the first stay at a Finest hotel. The location was gorgeous, and the service was top notch. Everyone that we encountered so super friendly and willing to go over and above. Carlos and Isabel served us every day on the beach, and they were amazing - they made my friend and I feel like royalty! I will be going back again. My only regret was that I didn't book a longer stay.
Finest is literally a resort where they know your name. They do their best to personalize their service for you and while there you never want or need for anything. It is a beautiful facility and everything is taken care of. The staff is amazing. The food is wonderful!! This is our 2nd trip and we will go again.
Took a long time to check in and we could not go to our room right away even though it was available. The service staff by the pool and restaurants were very nice but the front office people were displeasing. I wanted a friend to come to the resort but they had to pay $175 for evening day pass and $150 for the morning. Why not just pay for staying at the resort right? It is a nice resort but it better be for the price you pay per night.

Food is terrible had no flavor. Portion sizes are for toddlers. conceirge was useless. I Got locked Out my room and was told by concerige they couldn’t do anything. Every channel on tv was spanish. I wont ever go back to this hotel.
