Disappointed Stay – Not What We Expected
We stayed at the Wyndham Alltra Cancun All Inclusive Resort and unfortunately, our experience was far from enjoyable.
From the moment we arrived, the check-in process was frustrating. Our group was separated—even though I speak Spanish and my in-laws do not. It felt intentionally misleading and created unnecessary confusion.
Room service was another major letdown. Despite being advertised as “all-inclusive,” we were charged a fee every time we ordered to the room. We also weren't allowed to take food up to our room ourselves if we picked it up, which made no sense and was very inconvenient.
One of our rooms had a broken AC that didn’t work for several days—completely unacceptable in the Cancun heat. It took far too long to be fixed.
To top it all off, we were constantly approached by a pushy timeshare saleswoman. Even after saying we weren’t interested, she continued to pester us throughout our stay, which really disrupted the vacation vibe.
There were two managers who attempted to help towards the end. They were very sweet. But it was too late. Trip ruined.
Overall, this resort did not deliver on its promises. Between the misleading check-in, hidden fees, poor room maintenance, and relentless sales pressure, we left feeling disappointed and won’t be coming back. This was not the relaxing vacation we had hoped for. Would not recommend and definitely won't be returning. At least not to this resort.
