All good!

Beds and bedding and pillows were comfortable and clean, in-room coffee was nice. Towels were fine. Carpet was old and dingy. Breakfast was good. Elevator was AWFUL. Lots of time was spent waiting for the elevator.

The property was relatively close to family, and the price was better than alternatives. The room was relatively small and mostly underground.

The location was convenient, close to restaurants and transportation. The only thing I find negative is the elevator, there's only one elevator and it is very, very slow.

Room smelled like mildew in the bathroom. Sheets stained. Door had trouble closing. Ice bucket Had mold. Staff was nice. Breakfast was mediocre.

There was an event during check-in that managers said they would provide a stay discount for. Don't know how that happened or will take place yet. Other than that, stay was good.

Make sure to ask if your room will be below ground

Cons- one small elevator that gets congested during the day, guest typically use stairs instead of waiting. Rooms will have residual hair, dust and dirt from previous guest. We even found makeup smeared on bathroom walls. Sheets had several holes. NOT a well lit, modern, updated hotel Pros- Pretty good complimentary breakfast selection. Good location to access different parts of downtown Brooklyn with little commute. Staff is overwhelmed but will attempt to service guest at his/her best ability.

Staff was very good - professional, customer service oriented - especially the team at the front desk and staff ensuring the rooms were in good condition and clean. thank you!

My room was clean, modern and comfortable. Breakfast was nice as well. There was a variety of items to choose from, including TURKEY SAUSAGE! I was so happy. The only disappointment was that there was a food item labeled as “veggie egg white omelette.” I was so happy for that, except when I got it on my plate, I saw that it was not egg whites and not completely veggie. It was made with full eggs and had tiny chunks of ham. What a disappointment :-(

Close to subway and quiet location

This Holiday Inn Express is conveniently located near many eateries, convenience stores and public transportation. I was happy they had a business center which I used to print and sign an important document. Rooms are small but the beds are comfortable. The mini fridge in our room was extremely beneficial. No fitness center, though, so I power walked several blocks in the mornings to get my exercise in. Parking was available on site which was convenient because I didn't need to wait for valet serrvice. It would be nice to see hotel chains, such as Holiday Inn offer some more plant-based items for Grab and Go breakfast. At minimum, a plant-based milk for the dry cereal would be appreciated. Element Ewing in New Jersey offered Vanilla Silk milk and the rooms were priced similarly, but larger suites. I would probably stay here, again, after checking surrounding hotels in the same area to compare amenities.

FRIENDLY STAFF VERY CLEAN , YOU ACTUALLY SEE THE HOUSEKEEPER CLEANING . NO SMELLS

Holiday Inn is decent if you want a quick stay for a good buck. My only issue is due to the pandemic the breakfast accommodations was very tacky. A to-go bag with breakfast inside.

great staff
