The perfect vibe for a sunsetting Miami property! A one-inch space between us and the chaos next door let us see footsteps and hear the kid screaming, as if he were our own. And the hidden daily resort charges, despite Expedia's assurances that there wouldn't be any, added to the sense we'd already started our drunken cruise. The InterContinental is Miami at its purest hustle.

Our room had no water at all. Had to pay $13USD for water after paying $40USD per person per night for a resort fee that was not ever mentioned when we booked. We were told when we arrived. Also we had three couples and one room was stocked with all the snacks our other two rooms had absolutely nothing in them. Also be sure anyone staying in room is mentioned on the booking or they will not help you with anything! The buffet breakfast was $100 USD for two people and we had rotten fruit. Will never stay here again. Over rated.
