Pleased with the stay. Things could have been cleaner and may need some upkeep on the roof terrace just seems warn down, could be to weather. Wished the sun/rain shields/covers were working for the random showers that move though. All and all happy with the day and would recommend it.

No hot water for almost a whole day and I booked a front view and I got a Sideview not too happy about that

We stayed in a city view penthouse, the staff was very kind, the room was amazing , we will 100% stay here again . This is a 5 star hotel .

I always stay at Z Ocean and I don’t think it’s been updated since I started staying there 4-5 years ago. Ceiling leaking in lobby, pool area outdated, rooftop terraces have cigarette burns in cushions and hot tubs look old. Very outdated and showing age.

Very pleased by this 1st experience at ZOcean, personnel very forthcoming, relaxed atmosphere, walking distance to the sea and Ocean Drive and Collins shopping area.

The divider wall between the suite between the hot tub to the next rooms hot tub was broken and not privet. Also the room smelled from smoke.

The hotel wasn't terrible, but for $242 on a Monday night plus $29 "resort fee," I expect better. The room was very large and had tons of storage space. The shower was fantastic, although there was no tub. Many things in the room didn't work. There was no "do not disturb" sign, which resulted in us being bothered by "minibar service" while sleeping. The toilet didn't flush, so we had to lift the lid and flush manually. Some of the electrical outlets didn't work. The fitness center just had cardio equipment. The pool was a small lap pool and jacuzzi with only one jet, which closed at dusk. Included in the "resort fee" was bottled water (missing), pool access (lame), gym access (also lame), beach chairs (great, but also available to the public for a small fee from the 3rd party company), and beach towels (used up when we arrived). PLUS wi-fi was $14 a day!

I stayed in Room 318 (standard room with a balcony facing Collins Ocean) for three nights with my husband and 7yo son. The room had a king size bed, two bathrooms (one with walk-in shower) a leather sofa bed and a small kitchenette area with a microwave, sink, two small refrigerators (one filled with the hotel bar items and one empty for guest use). There is also a nespresso machine with complementary coffee provided daily. Overall we had a pleasant stay. The furniture is a bit old and the rooms too need some renovations in terms of walls, decor and floors; the bathrooms sliding doors are awful as they don't lock properly. The shower was great but you need to make sure to close the door properly or you will flood the room! The best thing for us was that the rooms are very quiet (although the AC is pretty loud) and the location is very central as it is two blocks from the beach and at walking distance from major attractions in South Beach. The common areas, bar, front cafe' and pool are nice, but nothing fancy. For a 4 stars hotel I was expecting more luxury. All in all this is more like a 3 stars small hotel with good service and soundproof rooms.

Just ok, good location, room ok... Just ok, overpriced for quality with high food cost for average quality and excessive parking rates....I would never stay here again

Only thing was the $14 wifi fee and 35$ parking which wasn't in the description to inform us prior to checking in we received the invoice later that night .... They greeted us with champagne and drinking vouchers which was awesome!!!!! Overall I loved it would definitely go back.

Hotel was very clean. Room was comfortable and spacious. We were in the pool lanai room. Hotel is in a great location!

Overall experience was great. We had a great time

My girlfriend and I stayed at Z Ocean for two nights for a weekend vacation, and had a great time. We made use of the pool and hot tub, tried out the hotel bar, and loved our room. Our room had a view of the pool and hot tub, and was spacious and clean. The best part of our stay was probably the shower - five separate shower heads with adjustable pressures. My GF has a gluten allergy, and the restaurant staff was not very knowledgeable about the contents of their food, and were initially a bit dismissive, but ultimately helpful. The beach staff was great, and we definitely got our money's worth on the beach chairs and towels :).

It was an amazing stay. We'll be back very soon. One of the best hotels we're stayed at in South Beach.

This hotel was extremely clean and smelled awesome. We had a bar station inside the room and the balcony was excellent. Totally recommend! A little out of the way of the fun stuff but hey! Worth the money!

when I first arrived to the hotel I was so upset because on the outside it literally looked like a rundown motel! BUT the second I walked in I was amazed from the front desk to our BEAUTIFUL and AMAZING room. The best hotel I have ever stayed in thus far!!! So Beautiful!! I recommend this hotel!!!!

Clean Hotel, nice staff, great location, would def go back again!
