Fontainebleau Miami Beach

If you are planning to stay during weekdays, then it can be suitable for your family with small kids but on the weekends it turns into an overcrowded, promiscuous, wannabe zone. The rooms are very small and they don't have tubs. Housekeeping does the bare minimum to clean your rooms so beware. The best part of the hotel was the ocean and pool area during weekdays and Chez Bon Bon for snacks.

Terrible got charged for everything even pool, too expensive. breakfast fast was terrible.

Very nice place but yoh have to be ready for all the extra charges!

Besides the staff at the checking desk the majority of people thoughtout the hotel seem to have an attitude, that girl at the beach where you pay for the Umbrella wasn't only bitter to us but to her coworkers as well. Then the waiter Ignored us to the point I ended using the app to order my drinks and food. While we had a great day at the beach with my family because the weather and location was perfect, their manager should pay more attention to how their staff treat their guest. I don't think I'll be staying here again.

Staying at Fountainbleau was awesome, had a great time.

Great hotel to stay at for experience. From Liv to the many pools and cabanas the hotel was a great place to stay. We had a junior sweet that was beautiful and comfortable. The only downside was that service in the pool area is very slow and the staff tend to ignore you. My sister and I asked for an umbrella which was never brought over but we watched the person move umbrellas for others sitting around us. We also asked for a server who never arrived. Overall nice experience but if you want drinks just order directly at the bar.

The Fontainebleau Miami Beach is a great hotel! Great access to the beach, with excellent service. Everything was very convenient; restaurant, bars, etc, but the drinks at the bar, in my opinion, were very costly, sermed to be more than $20 for a drink, which for me is ridiculous. I booked the hotel on Orbitz, as a package "deal, but there were many extra cost that came later, for the room and other services. The one thing thatI disliked most was that there was no refrigerator in the room, which was such an inconvenience for us with our 15 month old daughter, who needed milk refrigerated. Nonetheless, convenient location, classy atmosphere, friendly and helpful staff, but it all comes at extra cost.

Did not have our rooms ready upon check in and one was not the type of room we had booked. Staff had trouble accommodating our rooms. Our AC did not work in one of our rooms when we checked in. Maintenance was very quick to respond and did great job fixing the problem Overall nice hotel however lots of additional charges/fees. More expensive than what it was worth.

What an overpriced disappointment. 15$ water, $30 for a pina colada on the beach, rude staff, roach in room, broken toilet and door, hidden fees, dirty, really bad quality and service. Been going for 20 years and this time the staff was rude, place was run down, and clientele was low class. Not going back.

Amazing place we go at least once year! Always an amazing experience!

Hotel rooms are nice and clean. The access to the beach and pool is nice. The reason for the medium overall rating is due to the overall culture at this hotel. The 21 and over Club Arkadia by the pool takes over the whole scene on the weekends and makes it feel like a nightclub for 21-25 year olds. Lots of skimpy bathing suits and loud rap music. It is awesome if you are into that scene but not so great for families. The hotel needs more variety of music instead of rap all day long on the weekends. The weekdays are much nicer. Also, the high prices for food and drinks on the beach and by the pool is very disappointing.

Got bit by bed bugs. First thought it was mosquitos just came back from the doc to find out bed bugs

Here is a copy of the letter I sent to the hotel. They have yet to reply: As a recent guest at your facility, I had more than several experiences that I hope are not typical. To begin with, the first time I called I was hung up on.  The number was correct as I redialed and was connected.  But then I was asked first for my name (fine) followed by requests for both my email and phone number?  I just had one short, quick question to ask! 2. It was the roomrate I asked about and I was given it:  about $300 a night.  I was the one who had to ask if taxes and fees were included.  The answer? No. Real cost -- more like $400. 3. When we checked in, we didn't know it then but one of the room keys we were given did not work. 4. Misinformation by a beach employee that we could access the property at the north end of the boardwalk was incorrect -- and lead to much needless walking for us. 5. Tired from our walk I wanted a nap-- but my bedding was not clean!  After starting to put my head down on a pillow I realized it had a hair, a dust bunny and what looked like a cookie crumb.  So I tossed it aside and reached for a second but it too had smudge, dust so I picked a third to find what looked like dried nasal effluent.  That is when I picked up the phone and called housekeeping for another set of bedding.  Are second beds changed automatically or only if they look used??? 6.  Please charge us more -- but have coffee service on a credenza at the elevator of every floor from at least

They gave us the wrong room at the beginning and when we came back to the reception, they didn't apologize and didn't want to listen. We booked a room with an ocean view, but they gave us one with the view of the next building wall and one bed instead of two beds. When we returned to change, they were able to do us a "favor" putting us in a room with bay view, saying all rooms with ocean view were occupied. For sure, me and my friends won't recommend this hotel to anyone.

This is my second time staying at this hotel and I absolutely love it! The staff are so wonderful and very accommodating. The beach is right behind the hotel and the ocean view from my room was amazing!! I definitely recommend getting a balcony with ocean view!

Make a long story short , wife came back to the hotel without me once and they wouldn't let her in , she payed the deposit for room and her name was on the orbits registration for room and flight , they had no common sense , she had I'd with same last name etc. tips at pool , beach etc were with 18%tip , some tell you and most don't , I payed many double tips , I only found out because I overheard a lady telling a Cust next to me , scam , first bad review if ever given

The hotel was amazing! Very beautiful and very attentive staff. If you visit the beach I would recommend asking for Marlin who was always going above and beyond. Even getting this STL Gringo protected from the dangerous sun!

This is not a hotel, it's a resort and as such has a lot of fees associated with it. Valet parking is required. There is no where near by you will be able to park. This "service" cost you $50.00 per day and means you have to wait for someone to bring you your car whenever you want to go anywhere. I would highly recommend taking a taxi to the resort and walking as traffic is horrible and parking spaces are scarce. It is very easy to get a taxi at the resort. They line up in wait and are always available. The room itself does not have a coffee maker, microwave, or fridge. Although you can rent a mini-fridge from the front desk for an additional fee. A pot of coffee can be sent up to you for $12.00, plus a $4.50 delivery fee, and 20% gratuity. Gratuity is included everywhere, 18% is added to every check (20% for room service orders). I'm not certain what a "hotel fee" is. I feel like I paid the "hotel fee" when I paid for the room, but a $26.00 hotel fee will also be added to your bill each day. I should have paid more attention when I was asked for $600.00 in incidentals upon check in. The $50.00/per day for parking and $26.00/per day hotel fee will come from those incidentals.

Someone got shot there & I couldn't get into the hotel for 3 hours & they couldn't comp me for the inconvenience on there property they told me it was a police issue & not on them even though it was on there property this was 5/7/2017 - 5/8/2017

Super crowded, lines everywhere, beach was packed with chairs, pools was packed with chairs, if you wanted to sit comfortably, needed to pay $350 upgrade for beach bed. Nickel and dimed you for everything
