We stayed 4 nights. Used orbucks to pay part of the stay. The hotel was pretty much comfortable. The employees were very friendly. We arrived in Miami 4 hours ahead of time. We called the hotel to find out what was the earliest time to check in. They said they would call us when our room was available. They called us 5mins later saying we could go to the hotel & check-in. That's 4 hrs ahead of time. FREE OF CHARGE! The aisle & our room's carpets were stained. The light in our bathroom stopped working, we called to have it fixed, left for less than 30mins. When we came back it was fixed! We also called for a crib for our baby. Went to the pool & when we came back voila! It was there! We had a nice ocean view with a balcony (caution if you stay in the rooms across the aisle you will probably get a "next door building" view & no balcony.) The pool is small but the beach is right behing the hotel. There's also a nice board walk behind the hotel!

I have stayed at this hotel at least four times and this time was my very last time. They checked us into a room identified as "ocean front" but as I told the staff I have stayed on the fourth floor and room "414" is not an ocean front room it is oceanview since you see the pool and majority trees. The room would not lower past 76 degrees although we put it on 50-55 to see if it would change, it did not. The hallway smells like urine and our last day we saw a roach walking down the hallway. I like the comfort of the room but that is all I cared for as I paid for a room with the best view but received yet again a tree view with minimal ocean view.

Excellent location, friendly staff. We stayed at this hotel years ago and there has been many upgrades since then. The view from the room was beautiful and the beds were comfortable. My only complaint would be the hallways need new carpeting. But overall we were happy with our stay.

We checked in here for a two day stay before our return flight home. It was so bad I didn't even stay both days. The pool is smaller than it looks in pictures it's basically a hot tub in size with no real area for small children because of how rapidly it changes in depth. The lobby looks updated but that's it. The upstairs floors look like they just threw paint over the 1970's there was mold around the air vent. And bugs in the room. The night I did stay I could not sleep because I felt like something was biting me all night and the level of ambient noise you would be better sleeping on a plane in high turbulence. When I complained about the issues and stated I would not be staying there a second night they told me the best they could do is change my room they would not give me my refund for the night I was not staying. When I went to the front desk there where ten other people complaining about the bugs in there room also. When I asked to speak to a manager the front desk lead raymone told me that the manager was to busy for me. And I would be waiting for at least two hours. So I just left and stayed somewhere else. I would not recommend this hotel to my worst enemy. They don't have the consumers safety at best interest either due tho safety inspections being six months past due. Once again save your money and do not stay here. There are much nicer places down the road in surfside beach for the same price like the residence inn.

They still have a bug problem which isn't noticeable till about day two when you notice these small insects walking on the bathroom sink and floor. Their fitness room needs updating and some major cleaning you can tell no one wipes the sweat off the machine or floor. At check out I asked to pay my parking in cash and got a completely irritated desk clerk who made me wait for it while he went to the back to do whatever that didn't pertain to me paying my parking bill. I prefer happy and satisfying customer service but it seems like the smallest tasks just are a bit too much for them. I choose this hotel because of the location on the beach and the ocean drive hotels have the smallest rooms and beds for an outrageous price, but I may have to look else where on my next vacation

Hallways were dirty, shower drain was mess up, heater didn't work, to park in the hotel there is a 35 dollar fee and the gate didn't even work. I was a little frustrated during my stay there honestly.

This is nice ocean front hotel. You would be lucky if you get room on 5,6 or 7 floor as first 3 floors are Ocean front but you can not see the Ocean it's just swimming pool view. Hotel room should be clean.

I recently stayed at the best western Atlantic beach resort for two nights and to sum up my visit on the 2nd night I ended up taking a loss for the money and checked out early. Upon arriving this was my very first time visiting Miami the hotel staff wasn't helpful at all I asked about parking and was told I would need to locate the concierge and ask him. Parking was around the building $32 a night. So I paid only to be disappointed the parking garage is the smallest I've ever seen it fits maybe 10 cars and if you don't plan on being at the resort you will lose your spot and I was informed it was non refundable. The garage has no room access so you have to carry all your bags around the building into the lobby to get to your room. Room is outdated and lacked cleanliness. The balcony had a lot of ants which came into the room. The view is nice but the trees block the beach. Housekeeping didn't exist. We never got our room cleaned or got fresh towels luckily I brought my own. The wifi signal also goes in and out so it wasn't that great. The room has a refrigerator that is thrown in the closet. The pool was closed. Checkout was a nightmare I waited for over 15 minutes just to get my deposit back and the manager didn't show any concern as to why I was checking out early nor did they thank me for staying with them. This overall experience was very regretful and I Wont be returning to Miami or this hotel. Would not recommend. Save your money and listen to the reviews.

the location is great but the cost is not justifiable based on what you get.

My goal was to find a hotel on the beach for a brief 3 day vacation. I didn't rent a car. The room was not luxurious but I was not looking for luxury. I just needed a clean, safe place to lay my head. A few eating place near by and I hopped on a tour bus to see the city. perfect location and cost for my needs. I paid extra for a partial view of the ocean too, time needed to study for school was great on the balcony.

It's was horrible and the rooms were discusting and the room was didty.

If you keep in mind this is a 3- star hotel and how much you pay, this is a great hotel! Very nice and modern lobby. The rooms are ok, very clean but the mattress not so new (ok for a night). I love that its right on the beach, so you can access the beach thru the boardwalk, such an amazing view! The pool its very tiny, like a house size pool. Very friendly staff! again, I really enjoyed my stay, if you want more, just pay double for a 5star hotel :)

The hotel location was the only thing good about this hotel. I usually stay at west western wherever I stay. I'm used to free breakfast and more clean hotel. Also there was not microwave and the refrigerator was in the closet and was hard to get to. The first day of our stay there was also no hot water and the ac wasn't working well.

We brought my son to Miami for a little back to school trip. He loved it! Hotel was awesome, and the view was beautiful

The hotel is right on the beach. The pool is small and the food at the restaurant is average. You have great tiki bar next door overlooking the beach. You can take the bus to go to 16th street. A pedestrian street with a lot of restaurants.

The hotel was in a great location for me and the kids not to close to madness but far enough for peace. The pool is small but ok. Overall it was a good stay !

Great Hotel in great location. Nice Service. Bit expensive but most hotels in Florida are expensive :)

Horrible view for ocean front 76 inside and 85 outside : ridiculous

I have stayed at this hotel at least four times and this time was my very last time. View from 8th floor balcony

Excellent location, friendly staff. We stayed at this hotel years ago and there has been many upgrades since then. The view from the room was beautiful and the beds were comfortable. My only complaint would be the hallways need new carpeting. But overall we were happy with our stay.

not worth your time and money.

We checked in here for a two day stay before our return flight home. It was so bad I didn't even stay both days. The pool is smaller than it looks in pictures it's basically a hot tub in size with no real area for small children because of how rapidly it changes in depth. The lobby looks updated but that's it. you will not get above and beyond service here
