Everything was amazing: clean, ocean front, walking distance to everything, friendly, professional staff, amazing food. I loved loved loved it & will definitely go back

We were here for a long weekend. The room was a little small but very clean and comfortable. They brought a rollaway bed for our child which was comfortable for him as well. The staff were great and attentive.

If you are looking for somewhere to stay for any type of event, this is where you should be! Beautiful property right on the beach with all the amenities you could want

We have stayed in the Miami South Beach area many times and plan to come back often. The Loews will definitely be a repeat destination. It has many so good points that we love. As a reader, I appreciate the multiple lights, including dedicated (focused beams lights for both sides of the bed to read at night.) Others who are more into gaming or want to stay connected will appreciate the many outlets and ways they can charge their gadgets in the room. Men and women will love the excellent lighting in the bathroom with makeup mirror. The soft robes are a plus. The Keurig coffee machine was a treat. The 4 inch padding on the bed as well the quilts was nice. The room has a great shower...wonderful pressure...hot enough. The pool has plenty of chairs with luxury covers, lots of big umbrellas on moveable stands. Amazing. The hotel is centrally located and is within walking distance to most restaurants in the area. We were especially pleased to be able walk to breakfast every morning to La Provence South Beach. They have a wonderful menu with a reasonable price. We liked it because their food is fresh and delicious. Check out their site. We ate there almost every day for breakfast. I have to agree with reviewers that not all their desserts are good. I would not try the Creme Brule, Eclair, or Napoleon. Thumbs down.

They have recently acquired the hotel next door, which is more quaint in size. They duplicated the design in the halls/rooms. Unfortunately, while i requested an ocean view, the windows had metal lines that blocked it. The halls were narrow as well. I went back to the front desk and requested to moved to the main facility, and after being told they were full, they found me a room. They only have one pool and it's usually over populated. The food and dessert cafe were good. Of course it was costly due to resort fees.

Way too many kids and not worth the expensive. For the price you pay for the rooms, you can hear everything going on in the hall, no fridge, it smells like a huge fart when you walk into the lobby and a resort fee added every day not including resort fee tax....for what? Along with no lounge chairs availbe anywhere around the pool area and dodging running kids with no parental supervision you are charged an additional $25 for an umbrella if you want to get away on the beach from the chaos of the hotel. Save your money, sanity and find a nice boutique hotel.

I been in the hotel for many times i love the service and the pool everyone is doing great job thanks to everyone

Enjoyed my stay here at the Loews. Beach balcony view was ANAZING! Only thing. They didn't have the room I requested. But she did give me credit with the hotel && corrected my room request the next day. Overall a great time! Will def be back again!

Loved this resort! Clean and nice size rooms. Gorgeous bathrooms. Pool was fantastic and loved being right on the beach. Great for families.

Bad housekeeping. There was shaving razor in the glass in bath room when we checked in- from prior guests. When asked to change the bedsheets, I was told that the hotel does not change the sheets unless requested, but I think they should at least change the sheets when Guests change.

Too many extra fees and service charges. The hotel room lost power for a while - it took them a while to come fix it. There wasn't any turn down service which I found strange for over $500 a night!

Much of the hotel seemed to be under construction.

We had a room with a partial ocean view and balcony. This view was incredible-way more than partial. The hotel has been renovated and everything was in great condition. Other than the weak wifi signal and high prices (comes with the South Beach territory) I would say this was a perfect hotel for us. It was quiet and had everything we needed. The pool was crowded but well staffed. We enjoyed our meals at Lure (on-site restaurant) and the location was centrally located.

Overall a good choice. The pool is still under some constructions as well as some of the surrounding area of the property. The pool was still awesome. The restaurant and breakfast options are rather expensive. (ie. 2 adult beverages and 2 sandwiches = 85 dollars, plain coffee is $4.50). There is a standard 20% "service" charge on everything. This can be your tip. The pool service was excellent. The gym is good. There is a restaurant next to the hotel, with great and cheaper breakfast/lunch options called Aroma Espresso bar plus several walgreens/cvs with food/drink options, plus several liquor stores nearby. The location of the hotel perfect. Its a short but beautiful walk to the south pier. The hotel charges 26+ a day for pool/gym/amenities, etc but that gets you a chair on beach as part of the charge. All in all, an excellent choice, but I will utilize a few ways to save some $$ such as going to eat at Lincoln Mall area again and bringing a few items in with me instead of the price gouging. But some people are uber rich.... :)

Ugly and old design . A/a dont world well. The only think ok in this hotel was the location.

We went over Christmas and the hotel was very crowded. This is to be expected at holiday time but the poolside restaurant, lobby restaurant, and the lobby itself were under various stages of renovation. The entire beachside end of the pool was blocked off with unsightly boards. The remaining space was so packed with chairs it made it difficult even get out of your "row". To get a sunny-side seat you had to be at the pool by 6:30-7. The beach was similar in terms on competition for good seats. The whole scene felt like a Black Friday sale without the discount.

Excellent stay at the loews Great location If possible book a room with balcony and ocean view Amazing

Beautiful hotel and pool area with EZ access and proximity to Ocean Drive. Food and drinks are too expensive. The pool area is STILL under construction and will be for some time. There is loud construction noise on the cramped north side of the pool every day from 8 - 5. The front of the hotel is crammed with construction equipment with alternative routes for hotel entry.

hotel under renovation pool area and lobby unfinished overall disappointed with experience

Hotel is under renovation, services limited. Wait until it's done...Orbitz should have made us aware of that fact..we would not have booked there

Hi Bryson and thank you for taking the time to review your recent stay with us here at Loews Miami Beach Hotel. We've long been known as a top family destination, which is why you likely saw many families over the course of your stay. With regard to the smell, we sincerely apologize if you experienced an odor - we did have an issue with ventilation which has now been resolved and our new hotel scent program is in place. Our resort fee does offer beach chairs but at this time we are not offering beach umbrellas. We are looking into ways to continue to enhance our resort amenity program and the umbrella is definitely among the items being discussed. Thank you again for your comments!
