Crowded, dirty, no resort feel, not family friendly

This property has seen better days. There have been a lot of changes/less services due to COVID which is understandable but would be nice if mentioned in detail ahead of time. I rented a SOAK daybed for 2 days and apparently they don't provide the fruit plate anymore and the service was super slow. One day I stood waiting at the entrance/check-in stand to the SOAK area for a good 20 minutes and there was no one so I ended up just looking at the seating arrangment chart and sat myself in the appropriate daybed. The room had most items removed so no robes, no slippers, no laundry service bags, etc. Room service is by request only, they will not automatically come. After a couple days, I requested new towels and they said they would take away the old and change out the garbages. I was quoted 10-15 minutes. I came back from dinner about 2 hours later and no towels or garbages had been changed out so I called again to request. On the second attempt the towels came. No attempt was made at the garbages so I just gave up at that point. Another day I rented a beach daybed. I was surprised that no one ever came over to check if we wanted to order any food or drinks. After a few hours I walked over to the food/beverage stand to place an order and the the employee said, "Yeah, we are very busy, take a menu and we will be over soon." I said I had been waiting quite awhile and I hadn't seen or heard from anyone. Another server outside the hut heard and felt bad and took order

Staff was very accommodating. There wasn’t anything I did not like.

Convenient location. Clean. Room was excellent. The only thing I didn’t like - pillow was too soft, I should have asked for a foam one.

I have stayed at the Lowe’s twice before. This time was disappointing. Great location. Room was ok. The room next to mine had a dog that barked periodically through the night. It was noisy with folks coming and going and doors slamming in the early morning hours.

Everything was clean and luxurious appearing . Felt like I was on a Carribbean island. When I come next time I’ll be sure to stay here again

I wasn’t to pleased with my stay this time — specifically with room cleaning services. With the whole world urging to stay clean, it took me a few days to actually get someone to my room to clean. But the floor was still dirty & countertops as well.

Though handicapped by Covid with restaurants closed, the staff was courteous and the facilities were clean.
