Things started off with only one elevator. At spring break. No worries, they’ll fix it. Nope. Good thing we were on the 4th. Got our steps in. Here’s the thing, the hotel is surrounded by mega properties. It seems like the nautilus is trying to show potential buyouts that they have the foot traffic for a knock down and rebuild. Meanwhile, the clients and staff deal with the fallout. Staff did their very best but they know there’s no management nor leadership. Which is making the staff terse with the clientele because the clientele don’t understand the situation, they just want to be serviced on their trips. The building is very old. They remodeled it best they could. I’d say, very European. You really have to leave the bathroom to change your mind. There is in room dining. Big plus. Obviously, short menu and only during the day. There are 2 bars. You’ll need them. Also, a coffee kiosk. A gym and a pool with cabanas. The best part. Great access to the beach and all that is, Miami Beach.

The property meaning lobby was nice, restaurant food was good. Pool seamed good did not use it but by looking in couldn’t see anything negative. The rooms are small and the bathroom needs some updates. For the price I paid rooms are not worth it. My only complaint and it’s the reason I gave my stay a 3 star is. The 1st day I was at the hotel we came back at 5/6:00 and our room was not made when we asked the cleaning crew NO ONE SPOKE ENGLISH. We had to use sign language and still she looked at me as if o had 2 heads. Not even the supervisor didn’t speak well. Finally she came in while we were getting ready to clean. The second day it was done but only left 2 sets of towels when we were 3 people. We tried calling several times but no one was answering the phone. So I had to use my friend’s towel after she used it. Not so cool

Excellent location! We loved the pool area, which featured ping pong, cornhole, and cozy sofas with seating areas perfect for games and relaxation. Both the pool and lobby bars were fantastic, offering Happy Hour deals with delicious drinks and light bites at half the price. The setup was perfect for our family of five, providing plenty of comfort. The front desk staff was outstanding—very helpful and accommodating. We even managed to get a late checkout when we requested it!

2025 New Years at SOBE!

One of the best things about staying at the Nautilus is how terrific the service is. This was our 6th trip over the last 10 years to the Nautilus and this year's service was the best ever from check in by Pio, to Eugenia & Estephanie at the Pool to Lucas & Michael at the bar. Kudos to all! Since we have been coming for 10 years, I can say that we are beginning to see some real wear and tear on the carpets and wood services on the room floors. Also, and this is important--there is MAJOR construction on either side of the Nautilus and those staying there should be told about this as it is VERY NOISEY from 7:00 am until about 4:00 in the afternoon. There are big diggers, earth movers, plus lots of drilling. I am glad they are renovating these properties, but customers should be made away of how bad it is on week days!
