Absolutely loved everything about this hotel. The rooms had such funk to them with the modern décor. Also beds were king sized!! Very spacious and everything was clean.

The Linen Surperviser checked us in She was Terrible what should of taken 10 min took 40min and she didnt communicate parking properly so we had to pay double Not the experience you want when you walk in on vacation

My husband and I went recently for our business trip to Miami. We had a blast staying at the Gaythering. We booked the Superior Room and I was quite pleased with how spacious this room was. We had some trouble at first with the hot water heater, but management quickly resolved the issue. The hotel bar is a great hangout spot to meet locals and Parker was lively and the kind of bartender that makes you want to keep coming back! The sauna facilities were great and the scheduled yoga class on Saturday was very enjoyable. I left a piece of Jewelry there and contacted the hotel and they very quickly and happily had the item shipped to me the same day I found I had misplaced it. I plan to stay here anytime I come back to Miami.

Very nice hotel! The rooms are clean with a fun decor. This is not the place to stay if you are looking for a quiet, peaceful respite. This is an adults only hotel and, at times, the atmosphere gets a bit rowdy and festive. I would expect no less - this IS, after all, Miami Beach.

Overall satisfied. The only complaint would be parking situation

This was for a little rest and relaxation, the hotel has daily activities. Rooms are comfortable, clean and minimal noise pollution. The staff members acros the board are pleasant and very accommodating.

Spacious Rooms, Friendly Staff, Great Value, Would Definitely Stay Again!

From check-in to check-out, our stay was delightful. From the very first, the staff was not only professional but warm and welcoming. Indicative of this was the behavior of one particular staff member, Angel. He helped check us in and for the entirety of the trip greeted us by name when we met. Granted, a little thing, but one that goes a long way to making a visitor seem welcome. The room was beautiful with a spectacular view. Unfortunately, it was above the bar, but honestly this did not impact too negatively. The staff from bartenders to cleaning crew was wonderful and helpful. I found the location a little off the beaten track and there was construction going on during the day. These were just small glitches in a wonderful stay.

Loud and the rooms have a horrible smell Orbitz book me for 2 nights when it should of been one????

I'm glad I chose this hotel- I liked the concept. My room was nice, clean, and I loved the quirky decor. however, you have to understand that this is also a popular bar, and the music was thumping into my room- but I was directly above the bar- other rooms might be less affected, but I suspect you can hear it in most parts of the hotel. I knew this was a possibility when I reserved the room, so I was under no illusion. I also know I can sleep with that kind of noise in the background and I did! I did visit the bar area, and when I asked the bartender if it was possible to turn the tv to a channel showing sports, he immediately found a manager and they took care of that for me- I really appreciated that.

My partner and I love everything about this hotel and we have stayed in a lot of hotels, including adult hotels and this one is by far the coolest hotel we have every stayed in. Not only is the location beautiful and close to everything, but the rooms are very clean, very big, and the beds are extremely comfortable (and i have major back problems). The staff creates a very personalized experience for you from the whole front desk staff to the cleaning staff. Some days, you don't even feel a need to leave the hotel, because everything you need is there from a keurig machine in the room (with unlimited coffee) to a self service spa downstairs, which is a blast. They also have a full service bar downstairs with great drink specials every night, yoga in the lobby a few times a week and complimentary espresso in the morning. This hotel rocks!

Love the theme throughout the hotel. Guest were very friendly and mild interaction with the hotel staff, but we're helpful when needed. My stay was only a couple days but it was in a great area and would consider staying again.

No sense of customer service. Room are modern but wall was damaged. Well located good price! but Staff ruin all the stay

We stay there for 6 days and is 1 mile to ocead dr. We use the bikes outside to go everywhere. Place is fun, clean with great staff. Great happy hours on the bar at 5.pm

Love it! The hotel is chic modern and avant-gard. I loved the spacious rooms and the very friendly staff. The lack of parking is the only hassle but parking is nearby and it's fine once you've found it. The bar is cozy friendly with a cute bartender, the spa is very spacious modern clean and very nice I will return sooner vs later.

Thank you Juan for the review. I am sorry to hear you were disappointed with the parking situation here at Hotel Gaythering. Unfortunately parking in South Beach is very difficult and tends to be expensive. We have teamed up with a garage two blocks from our property and offer discounted overnight parking to all of our guests.

Joe, thank you very much for taking the time to review your stay with us. It is always appreciated to hear about excellent customer service from a specific employee (I will pass this along to Angel). We all work very hard to make our guests feel welcome, and Angel is a strong member of our staff who does just that. We are a far of a walk from the beach for some people, but keep in mind for your next stay that we have a Bike Share program and are introducing this month a Beach Shuttle that will depart every hour from the hotel. I hope we get a chance to host your return visit soon!

Hello Jared, I apologize for the mistake on Orbitz behalf. We spoke the day after you checked out and I was unable to help with this issue, I hope you were able to reach someone from Obritz. I wish we had the opportunity to resolve the smell issue you mentioned during your stay. Our housekeeping staff has a very high standard of cleanliness which we are usually praised on, I apologize this was not your experience.

Thank you very much Bud for reviewing your stay with us. This is correct, our rooms directly above the bar can be a bit loud during the operating hours. We are working on finding the right sound solution for this issue and should be solving it soon. I am glad to hear we were able to accommodate your tv request and I will certainly look into seeing what channels we can add to our service. I hope we get to see you again soon.
