Hotel staff was amazing. Very friendly and helpful with arranging shuttle service to and from hotel. Whatever problems we had were fixed immediately! Great service.

Great Location, walking distance to everything. Beautiful clean rooms, and really nice staff. The only reason why I am giving this 3 stars is because the day we arrived the elevator was broken and no assistance was offered with our luggage, we had to walk to the third floor with a 50 pound luggage. Also our room was all the way in the back where they were doing construction on other buildings waking us up as early as 7am every morning. All in all we'd stay at this location again during our next visit as the elevator situation was fixed within hours and hopefully the next visit the construction will be done and it will be a peaceful wakeup call.

It was terrible the front desk was terrible and the check in was suppose to be at 3:00pm the room was not ready in till 6:00 pm I had 2 rooms but I cancel with you guys on time orbits tould me that I would have my refund back and the for the first night deposit and I haven't see that yet and then the hotel charge me the remaining balance for a room the I cancel with you guys on time I would like for you to go back to my call with orbits so you can see that with the person I spoke to tould me I will have my refund back and and the hotel is charge me $ 546 in top of 316 that you guys are suppose to put back in my account I would like the problem fix front orbits and the hotel I will me calling and doing everything I have to to fix this problem. Thank you

My stay was I would say not bad, but it was a bunch of younger people arguing during the night and then our first couple days experience were arguments downstairs at the check-in desk but other than that the stay was decent just the elevator Took forever

Front desk kindly upgraded us from 1 bedroom to 2 bedroom suite. Staff very nice, but no bell person, no promised airport transfers, and no car valet when we arrived around 9:30 pm. Rooms nicely decorated, but only one very tiny bath for 2 bedroom suite. Pleasing rooms and courtyard. First floor units are not disability friendly due to a couple of stairs. Not sure if rest of building has elevators. Really great location only a block from beach and lots of restaurants and nice shops. Unfortunately, the rooms have poor sound proofing and early Saturday morning trash truck pickup was super loud for about 15 minutes. Voices of late night guests talking in courtyard were a minor problem. Biggest problem is that the front desk allowed someone to barge into EVERY room in the hotel in the middle of the night to replace batteries in the smoke alarms. They just let themselves in while people were in bed. SHOCKING. We could hear women screaming. Front desk apologetic in the morning when we complained. Management here is clearly poor.

Bought cleaning supplies and spent first day trying to make it tolerable.

Recently renovated, a two bedroom with a full kitchen and hide a bed sofa. Master bed was huge and very comfortable! Only met one staffer, very friendly and knowlegable. Would stay again.

Cute, spacious, private but.... there were two reservations made in my name accidentally. Hotel said to contact Orbitz and orbitz had to contact the hotel. (Ridiculous) After hours on phone and days waiting for email, the hotel would not give me a refund on the duplicate booking.

We found this place a few hours before checking. Our previous one was HORRIBLE! Metropole was great! The staff was friendly and I love the modern look it had. The room was a little snug but it was beautiful and in walking distance to the beach and different shops. They also had a happy with free drink! Great for celebrating a birthday!

Hotel was next to a construction zone and walls were VERY thin but you get an awesome value for the money. Plenty of room, personable staff and location can't be beat. I would definitely stay at the Metropole again.

Very nice hotel that's near all the action. You have enough space to have company in your room and space for privacy because the bedroom is separate from the living quarters. Price is great for the amount of space you get compared to the other hotels in this prime area. Do not consider the pool...because it's not one, just a foot wade pool. You are right around the block from the main strip and beach. The hotel also provides free beach ware(towels,umbrellas,seating)

The location was perfect and the room was great, however the parking was not goo. They have valet parking but you have to walk a little bit and I had to drive around the block for 45 minutes before the 1 valet person they had was at the stand to take my car. We got there on Labor Day and they had 4 people on staff for the the entire hotel. It took at least 30 minutes to be able to check in bc there was one person working. The staff was nice, just not enough of them to handle all guest requests/complaints.

I had stayed at metropole during my trip to miami this august and all i can say is dont waste your money. During my 5 night stay they had to switch my room 3 times because of problems with the rooms. Room #1 first off this one bedroom suite was the smallest of the 3 and when we tried to take a shower the whole shower filled with water because the drain didnt work at all it was so bad that water overflowed all over the bathroom. So they gave a different room. Room #2 was ok until the BIG problems started happening. The second day we were in that room were sitting in our room when we noticed the ceiling was LEAKING from the sides of where the light was. It was pouring down leaving us with puddles all over our bathroom. I told management what happened they said that the 3rd floor had a so called "shower party" with 3 people showering at the same time getting water all over and because of that our ceiling was leaking. After he told us that i asked him if he could take care of our resort fee he said he would do something for us. I come bak to the room all the did was give us rotten fruit and a very cheap bottle of wine which didn't make up for anything. So 2 days later this same room had another problem the toilet was leaking and it smelled like fish in the bathroom because water was all over. I went to the front desk they told me they would switch my room right away. So that leaves me to the 3rd 1 bedroom suite we had this room was bigger than all 3 rooms i didnt have a problem because i only stayed in this room for our last night. Overall the only thing that was nice was the location everything about this hotel is horrible spend a lil more money and stay somewhere nicer.

Stay was average as well the price considering it was MMW. Place needs some sprucing up and whats with the slated floors in the rooms. Everything falls forward. Also need their own HH just like their sister property Catalina stay there last year it was awesome but room was to cramped. It would also be nice when you are spending over $2700 they could be more lenient with an earlier check in than 3 or a later checkout

Loved it!!! Rooms was perfect, looks all new inside, not like them other old south beach hotels... Definitely would return <3

my first stay here was pretty good unfortunately I'm writing about a canceled stay as we all know except for the manager of this hotel we have had very bad snow storms across most of the country and thousands of flights canceled but it appears that management at this hotel is not aware of this and is refusing to refund my canceled reservation or answer my calls or call me back or even offer a stay at a later time all he is interested in is stealing hard working people money the airline refunded 2 days later the car rental company refunded 5 days later but these thieves refuse to refund my money or even have the decency to talk to me about why they are stealing my money so from now on i would never recommend this place to stay unless you have money to throw away huge mistake and disappointment and disrespect

great for your money

Great Location, walking distance to everything. Beautiful clean rooms, and really nice staff. terrible costumer service.

We're so happy to hear that you loved the location, decor and our friendly staff. Since we are a small boutique hotel, we unfortunately do not have a bell person. A valet attendant is usually present from 11am-7pm since that is the busiest time, but we always call for a runner to come and pick up and drop off vehicles if valet is ever done with us at the front desk. We do have an elevator on the first floor past the front desk for the rooms on the 2nd through 4th floor. In regards to the alarm situation, we are truly disappointed and astonished to hear that. That is completely unacceptable. We have taken measures to make sure nothing like that ever happens again. We sincerely apologize once more for that major inconvenience and hope you will still return the next time you visit Miami Beach. Warmest Regards.
