I dragged my bags up the stairs when I arrived. The elevators stopped working from a storm, no other hotel had that issue. The food there was eh (not talking about nobu restaurant) - the other dining spot on the property.

Liked that there were 4 pools so nothing was overcrowded. Great beach access. Stayed in the nobu rooms and they were nicely done and very comfortable.

Very disappointing. They are understaffed. I stayed during early-May. The hotel is beautifully situated and Nobu hotel’s slat water pool looks onto the beach. Very pleasant. However, I was disappointed with the lack of staff. They are doing house keeping every three-days due to “covid.” I found this cheap and imagine most guests are vaccinated at this point. It seemed like they are trying to cut costs. Worse, they lied to me. They said they would make an exception and promised daily light house keeping upon checking-in. When I called to ask for it, they said they were not doing it and that none of the hotels are ( I checked, others are). I didn’t appreciate the manager’s lies, condescending and rude behavior when I requested house keeping and at minimum to empty the trash. Honestly, not emptying the trash for three-days is gross. When they did service on the third day the room wasn’t cleaned until 4pm. I left the room at 8am that day and came back to find it wasn’t cleaned at 2pm. I went to the front desk and said it would be done ASAP. I went back at 3 and again to the front desk and explained it still wasn’t cleaned. The towel service was also poor. They are VERY under staffed. I was disappointed with the level of service.

I am upset with both Orbitz and Nobu Hotel as I purchased a holiday gift for a valued employee. I prepaid for the room and of course as is standard they asked her to place a card on file for incidentals. Problem is they not only took my money but billed her too! Now she is out one room night on her credit card and I am not sure if they are really getting this taken care of as one person said 7-20 days for a refund and the other is very difficult to reach (two hours on a phone) said they are trying to fix. How long does it really take to fix something like this Orbitz and Nobu? Completely unacceptable!

Stay elsewhere - this property was very disappointing.

We could not get ahold of anyone with guest services for 5 different times we tried to call. There was also a photo shoot going on and we were told to move from our seats so they could have that area. Extremely disappointed and won’t stay here again.

It was good. Room was clean and hotel appearance and ambiance met our expectations. I felt they cut a few too many corners due to “COVID”. For instance, all their water stations by the pools were closed, for good reason, but I felt they should have replaced this service with someone offering a tray of waters or cool bottled water. Also, room service was canceled, so each morning, we had to hunt down the cart in the halls for some more K-cups. I feel like someone could have supplied baggies of necessities each morning. It is supposed to be a 5-star hotel after all. Still, the staff still there did do their best, and we were happy. We would go back for another visit. The beach is great! Very clean and quick drink service. Recommend just using Uber Eats or Postemates for breakfast and lunch food. Much cheaper than their cafe, which was the only food place open until about 1pm. Again, COVID reasons kept all their restaurants closed.
