I booked a VIP suite and requested a top floor so that I can sleep through the first night. I was recommended a middle floor where I was told would be quiet. At around 3am a loud party started. I was very frustrated. My room was amazing and I didn’t want to leave but I asked for a different unit. They gave me unit that had not been used it looked like for months. The AC was broken, the floors looked horrible. The sofa was dirty, the bathroom had some broken tiles and mold. It was not pretty at all. I told the concierge the first room was amazing it was just too noisy. I asked to go back to the first room. They said ok. Then the card ended up being for a different room. This one had a nice view but still not as great as the first room. I was disappointed to have to move 2 times. I didn’t really have a chance to really enjoy it.

Great location. The pool deck and view of the bay are special. Rooms are equipped reasonably for bringing in and enjoying food and drink. Wouldn’t say that you can expect to be able to cook but adequate for wine/cheese/crackers etc. We liked walking and SoBe is suitable for it in December so the walk to Collins/Ocean drives was a plus. Like that Mondrian is in a quiet zone near Whole Foods.

The property was lovely. The food was fantastic. Best kale Caesar anywhere - even CA. The conference staff was fantastic. The pool waitresses sucked - I sat in the lounge chair for over an hour waiting to get a drink. The waitress chic asked the people to the right and left of me for their orders and even though I was looking directly at her she ignored me each time she served those around me. I finally got up and went to the bar. All the bar staff was great other than one guy inside. Sorry I didn't get his name. I ordered a bottle of wine and 3 glasses and he handed it all to me. When I gave him a dirty looked he opened the bottle and poured the wine. Same exact thing happened to my friend 20+ min later. OMG - they add a 20% tip to EVERYTHING. I didn't even notice until last night when a friend pointed it out.

I liked to spacious rooms . The rooms were spacious and beautiful.. I also liked the balcony facing the breathtaking bay ..

I loved the room and look of the hotel. The hotel was amazing and I love the fact I was able to actually cook meals in my room. The hotel provided pots, spoon and plates . The hotel have an amazing ocean front pool and the view is amazing . It’s also in a perfect location only 4 blocks from the beach and all other party spots and tons of restaurants. The next time I attend Miami, I will definitely stay at the Mondrian because I get the best rest and I’m in the best location when it comes to restaurants and parties

the service was excellent but apart from that there was a picture on the wall that i think should not be there

Nothing was unique. I didn’t like the rooms at all.

Stayed their from Tuesday through Sunday, the entire week was great with the exception that they rent out the pool to people that are not staying there. It was like a zoo on Saturday and Sunday, I was there with my young children and it was not appropriate for them, too much drinking and partying young crowds and there was no room in the pool for the kids to play and no chairs. I will never stay there again.
