YVE Hotel Miami

I arrived on a very early Thursday morning flight at 1:45 am called the hotel and asked if I could check in. Well first the woman at the front desk asked me if I was checking in late for a Wednesday arrival and that would be fine, I told her no my date is Thursday, she said well there are no rooms available but if I come to the hotel before 9am there will be one, yes confusing I know. So I get to hotel at 3am and she tells me check in is at 4pm, She then “prechecks” me in and says when a guest leaves she will call me to get my keys.( So there was a room available, and I’m a platinum member and she still can’t check me in?)Then it gets worse, downtown Miami is not very safest place at 3am, we have nowhere to go so we are camped out in lobby waiting for this miracle of someone to check out so we can get into our room. Well I kid you not 10 mins later a family checks out, I go to desk and ask if we can get our room now and she says “No, because housekeeping doesn’t get here until 10am” at this point I’m livid, not only has this woman been completely dishonest about the check in rules, she’s lying about housekeeping start time as well because right after all this the housekeeping dept started to clean up lobby and bathrooms they could’ve easily stopped cleaning lobby and get my room ready but no they wait until I leave the lobby to get breakfast and that’s when they call at 9:30 am that my room is ready. Then I ask about my vip amenity at check in and there is none.

Great location in Downtown Miami, across the street from Bayside Marketplace from where all the cruises start. Nice room with comfortable beds and great view on Biscayne Bay.

Room and staff were great but the bed might have been the worst I’ve ever slept on.

The hotel it’s self is not bad however the parking is terrible and nearly impossible to find a space near the hotel,I had to park three blocks away. The AC was very loud and I couldn’t sleep,I asked for a new room and they said they were full but would check it,never came to check the AC

hotel ok vallet parkimg to slow waiting 45 minutes tohave the car back ,to much time

YVE is a beautiful hotel - I really like the lobby area, the artwork was breathtaking! The rooms themselves were spacious for a boutique hotel and what's nice is that it is in a prime location in terms of shopping and eating. We took an Uber when we wanted to travel outside of the downtown area to the Miami Beach area and it wasn't bad at all. The only downside to our stay was that we had to continuously ask for face towels and hand towels to be replenished and that can be a bit inconvenient when you need to bathe after soaking in the sun on the beach...the staff was friendly about it, so it isn't a deal breaker...I'd definitely would stay again and have already recommended them to friends and family!

Great location, great views and surprisingly peaceful at night (and it was labor day weekend)! My only complaint is the parking, for $45 a day it took up to an hour for the valet to retrieve my car, not worth it in my opinion. Other than that, great stay, very close to bayside, nice restaurants, American Airlines Arena etc. Would stay there again and just park somewhere else.

We loved everything about this hotel they even let us check in 4 hours early and held our bags til we left

Nice restaurants around and it's own tavern is good for a meal

Just 10 minutes walk from the AmericanAirlines Arena, si if you are going to a show there is a great hotel option. You just need to cross the street and you will be at the Bayside mall full of good stores and great restaurants.

Comfortable bed and pillows. Tiny bathroom. Extremely Convenient location. Street noise high from 4th floor, cars constantly honking at busy intersection. Fantastic view from large window. Valet signs almost too small to see. Tavern restaurant had great beer and drinks, food was okay as they said they were out of chicken at 5pm. Staff very nice. Valet took about 20 minutes. Great deal for price.

This hotel was alright. Their wifi sucked. The rooms were too small. The elevator was too small. But it was downtown. The breakfast buffet was mediocre at best. I would expect a lot more for a buffet that costed 20.00. I never seen a hotel that didn't have a mircwave in the room. The staff was extremely friendly but if you're looking at having a girls trip. I wouldn't recommend this hotel because the rooms are just too small.

Small cramped room, view of a wall 10 feet away, no parking, $18 a day resort fee for water and wifi basically.

Nice place to stay in downtown Miami! Close to bayside and American Airlines Arena! Nice hotel!

Very very small room and absolutely tiny bathroom. Not how it looks on pictures

We were expecting a lot more at the price we paid for our room (be sure to take into consideration the added resort fees). Everything about the hotel was small, from the size of the room (there's very little room to even open your suitcases) and bathroom, to the "free drinks". The mini suite on our cruise ship was twice the size. It was clean and the location is great, but not worth the money. We ate breakfast there (not included) which was fine but the service isn't very good.

First of all, my car was returned to me filthier than when I left it with the valet. Then there is a parking surcharge on top of a parking tax??? That is not included in the enormous valet fee of $32?? my car should have been washed for that price. Second of all, Amenity fee of $16 is added when I never used any of it! Again I was taxed on this too! So now I am paying almost $80 more for a mediocre room. Not going to happened again and will never recommended this hotel to anyone!

Great location, esenials you might need at a walking distance and 10 minute drive from the Miami night life.

The hotel is in a great location. However, the rooms are very small and during our stay the AC was broken and never repaired. Also, housekeeping never came-no fresh towels/linens.

Location good. Room austere. Bed: one of the best! Parking: terrible and expensive. Don't eat at restaurant
