We love staying here, our second time but it was spring break and overpopulated in the pool. We probably would have selected a different weekend and clearly Miami wasn’t afraid of the coronavirus.

First, it looks beautiful in the pictures online. The reality is much different. Our room on the top floor was run down and needed a “face lift”. We had ants in our room. The shower door didn’t close all the way so when showering you end up with water on the floor. Since our room was on the top floor (17th), the huge industrial air conditioning units are right above your head. They are very loud and run 24/7. The rugs in the hallways throughout the hotel looked dingy and dirty. The food at the hotel restaurant was mediocre and very pricey. The two pool areas are very small and it’s hard to get a lounge chair unless you get out there at 8am. It’s easier to get a chair on the beach however, you must pay $22 for a beach umbrella each day. The only positives I could share is that we loved the pillows on the bed and we had a great oceanfront view (with a teeny tiny patio). I would never recommend this place to anyone.

We lived our stay in the royal palm, everyone has been very helpful, staff are excellent, the location is very convenient, our room is beyond my expectation, loved our ocean front room on the 17th floor.. the beach is steps from our hotel, very close to restaurants, shops at the Lincoln road and night life at the Art Deco,, we will be back ..and the staff are very hospitable

location is great, room need to be cleaned better, shower tile and paint need some works, mirror on vanity sink chips.

From the minute we checked in to the minute we checked out everything was great. The staff was very friendly, bar service and food at the hotel were great. The pools are well kept and the beach is steps away. I will definitely be staying here again in a few months for my boyfriend's birthday!
