What I like about our stay the Riu Miami Beach was that the entire staff of the hotel was friendly, accommodating, helpful and went out of their way for the people staying at their hotel. The hotel was very clean as was our room, and had all the amenities you would want and like.

They need to invest in beach chairs. The few they have are old and rickety, and it is not normal for guests to arrive at the beach and discover that there are no more chairs available, sorry!

The service at reception was fine, but the bellboy ignored us for some reason. He saw me struggle with the luggage checking in and checking out of the hotel. It was a little strange as I saw him help others. Not sure of why. The staff could have been more attentive. The hotel room was basic. The basins are outside in the walkway of the room, which seemed strange to me. We stayed in room 904; good view of the sea, with sunrise slightly to the left hand side. The room is also far from the elevators. The walls are not very thick, so you can hear “everything” from the adjoining rooms :/

Our stay at hotel Rui miami beach was incredible. Staff was super nice and helpful. Constant room service. Amazing location on the beach and just a short trolly or uber to south beach if you want some more action. Definitely a family friendly hotel. Some special notices to fredrico who works on the beach and ruben at front desk they were super friendly and really went above and beyond for us.

Nice older property great location on Miami Beach clean with good friendly service. Only drawback was very limited menu outside of the buffet. which we did not go too. 38 dollars and we just don't eat that much food. plenty of other options walking distance from the hotel we would go back

Check in was a smooth process as expected from other Riu stays. Customer service was excellent! ALL the staff was kind, and helpful! (Augustin was one of the staff I remembered, who continuously made sure my stay was going okay, and he wasn’t apart of front desk staff). I wanted a specific room for my birthday and they made sure to help me with accommodations when arriving to ensure I had the perfect view i wanted. Con: Parking was $50 a day but typical for the area considering street parking is 0/0. Would definitely stay again!

Amazing staff. Lovely property that’s a really nice size. Not too big which makes it more personable. Right on the beach and the free Miami trolly to South Beach stops right outside. Also on the lovely boardwalk trail.
