Great time in Miami and Dream is a sweet boutique hotel right in the middle of the action!

If there were a way to give it less than one star, I would. The room smelled of cigarettes even though it was a “no smoking room” with a notice that if you smoke in this room you would be fined $250. The floor was filthy and gritty. Could not walk barefoot in the room. The room was dark and noisy as hell. You can hear all the street traffic as well as everything going on in adjoining hotel rooms. I felt like I was actually in the same room as my neighbors.

Front desk was excellent and very friendly. Rooms were very clean, well decorated but a bit small. Very close to the beach and walking distance to many restaurants and tourist streets.

We could hear EVERYTHING from our room -- this included waking up one morning to our very loud neighbors in the room next door having very loud sex. The restaurant downstairs was blasting music until 11:00 or 12:00 at night. It was so loud the bed was literally vibrating from the bass. The hotel staff were extremely rude. The maid kicked us out of our room when we were cleaning (usually when you are in the room and the cleaning crew arrives, they offer to come back at another time). The staff on the roof and int the restaurant downstairs were extremely unprofessional. The waiter at the restaurant hustled us out of the restaurant despite the fact we were not finished with our meal simply because two people at our table had not ordered food. When we complained to the front desk about our treatment, they tried to make up for it by sending us free drinks so at least they did that. That being said, I would NEVER stay here again and would NEVER recommend this hotel to ANYONE. It was far from the relaxing South Beach vacation I had hoped for.

Ok - here are the pluses about this hotel. 1. location, 2.design is both a plus and minus, 3. Famous at the rooftop pool is the BEST, so is Marten. This hotel could be a gem, but the staff is as cold as ice, they are absent and dont offer any insight, help at all. The design of the rooms is small, The King room can barely fit 2 people with 2 pieces of luggage. The bed was not the best. I expected more from the hotel.

A great experience. The hotel staff was extremely accommodating and attentive. Smiles and yeses go a long way.

Enjoyed this property and the staff were especially pleasant and helpful. Unfortunately we weren't there to take advantage of the beach chairs that you're automatically charged for. Was also surprised to find see-through shower walls!! Yes, you can see the person showering if you happen to walk into the guest room when they're in the bathroom. Don't think I knew that in advance. Also, unfortunately many of the umbrellas on the roof top/pool area were broken (we were told due to storms that had come through a month before). It was too hot for me to sit in the sun (no shade was available), so I couldn't enjoy the pool area. Hope this gets fixed soon for other guests! Good location.

After paying for the hotel via Orbitz a $300 hold was still required as per hotel policy.

I had a great stay room was clean and it was really close to all the social sites I like the roof top pool as well i stayed in room 275 I have no complaints

This is usually our go to hotel in Miami. However, this past trip the hotel was definitely not what we were used to. The room was musty and stunk like it was wet and moldy. They didn't provide turn down service with a chocolate and a bottle of water. We were very disappointed this time and will probably look for a new hotel next time. We come to Miami usually 4-5 times a year.

Hotel staff was very friendly and very responsive. Although check-in time started at 3, we arrived around 1:30 and they allowed us to check-in early without a problem. Hotel room was clean and comfortable. Extremely close to the beach. The pool was pretty small, but it was never crowded. The pool area was very relaxing and quiet, not really suitable for any pool games or large floats. At the pool you could request a chair with or without an umbrella, or a bed. The major issue we experienced at the hotel was that the elevators frequently got stuck in which we had to call for service. When the elevator did not get stuck, the ride was pretty bumpy, especially when reaching the designated floor. Stairs are available which we tended to use more often than the elevator. The other minor issue was the mini fridge in the room. Fully stocked with drinks, alcohol had spilled before we had arrived and the fridge was very sticky and was never cleaned by the cleaning staff. Otherwise, the hotel was very clean and very comfortable, would definitely come back!

As a platinum member, I got upgraded to a suite and couldnt have been happier. The staff knows and remembers me, as this was my 6th trip in the last 16 months :) I always stay here and will continue to do so. Everything is outstanding and Ill be back in October.

The hotel itself is beautiful and the deco/layout of all the furniture were clearly all thoughtfully placed and selected. I love how pretty everything is! The pool is small but was never overly packed. I love that we were given free towels and chairs/beds. If you want a drink you can also grab one from the bar up there. There are so many opportunities for little photo sessions in front of different areas. With that being said, there isn't too much space that comes along with your King Bed Room. The lighting also isn't the best if you want to make sure your makeup looks good. So space and lighting are really the only things this hotel needs to improve on (minor adjustments). Not sure if this is worth noting, but one of the cleaning people entered while I was still changing and kind of barged in. We were checking out a couple of minutes late but I found it strange that after seeing I was inside still changing, the cleaning person still stood there as if he'd enter and clean with us inside. Maybe those situations could be handled a bit different? All in all, our experience here was positive and I would definitely still recommend the Dream.

nice hotel half a block from the beach
