I'd give 5 star for the staff. They were working with what they had doing the best that they could do with broken computers, walkie talkies that didn't work, elevators that where not function properly. Staff worked very hard with one computer to check in a long line of people, and worked very hard to feed a big crowd of guests every morning. I just watched. I had no desire to stand in that line. Again, very quality staff, but clearly the owners are investing zero money into maintaining even the basic things for this property. Bad business to do it that way. Of course they'll respond here and say that they "strive to maintain excellent facilities for their customers" but really, the owners aren't doing anything to maintain even the basic things.

This was a good hotel to stay at. Our room was clean, and the location is ideal if you prefer to stay close to the beach and within walking distance of many different restaurants. The breakfast buffet was small but adequate, offering a good selection of food choices.

No coffee maker in the room. Coffee severed with breakfast was watered down/weak. I had to go to the cafe across the street and buy coffee. We requested an extra pillow and couldn’t get one. The bathroom had a single sink basin with 0 counter space. The pool was ice cold for the first couple of days but then the heat got turned on.

Location was great and the staff was very friendly and helpful but our hotel room needed repairs and renovating. The shower head fell off, there were water stains on the ceiling that had been patched multiple times, our door keys wouldn’t hold the code, etc. Windows were very old with cracks around the edges so you could hear all the street noise. only one nightstand for two queen beds and no outlets. Book for location, not for comfort.

We had a great stay at the President Hotel. The staff was very kind and Helpful. The location was perfect for visiting South Beach, we never needed out car to do anything locally. The daily breakfast was fantastic and we enjoyed starting out the evenings with the happy hour special and doing some people watching on the covered patio entrance, which is on a great street to do such. We will be back.

Stay was Ok. The best part of the hotel was the location. If you want to stay near south beach for a price range this would be the hotel for you. Other things like resort fee ( which is common I guess only in resorts not sure) for close to $100, where pool is in 5th floor in next building with no open bar was odd. Only thing is you will get a towel and chair for beach if you’re lucky plus the person is reception told me WiFi is included in resort fee which was odd too. The free breakfast menu was same everyday. Plus the main part of breakfast which is the protein like egg or bacon is served to you. I didn’t go back for seconds but it looked odd that food are serve to you like school cafeteria. The rooms were good and clean only issue was windows were bared shut. You can not open window. You will have to use AC to feel fresh in room even if you feel colder already. Overall it was a good trip like I said if you care about just the location and a room to stay probably with resort fee this might be the hotel for you.

Breakfast was great lots of good varieties a little noisy, and there could be noise control in the hallways for children, and to have more activity at your pool, please put in a small drink stand, so cocktails can be shared at the pool. And the rooms are beautiful and spacious.
