I can tell that the staff works hard to keep a clean environment, however, I did come across a cockroach in the bathroom. I was also troubled by not being able to fully close the bathroom window because it was broken, at night the temperature dropped to 30 degrees and I was freezing. I tried to turn on the heat and then the room began to small of something burning, so immediately I turned it off. My stay was ok, but could have been better.

We stay at maxine's restaurant building side, we notice the carpet dirty and bad smelling, the elevator too small and disgusting,that place was noise as well, need a total renovation. We will never comeback there. Sorry!!!

The room was clean, staff were friendly and helpful. Happy hour was fun and unexpected. Breakfast was good but not much for variety same everyday. The location was excellent close to beach, shopping, dining. Everything within walking distance. I would have liked to have had a coffee maker and microwave in room. The hotel was busy guests coming and going bit noisy at night. The overall experience was very good and i would definitely return

Room was unbelievably damp, mold in shower. Hotel does not hold baggage for you (asked for an hour to hold so we could walk over to the next hotel (which they also own) to eat lunch. Very expensive area expect upwards of $100 per meal for 2 people (one appetizer, two mains and two drinks, total not each). Not to mention fixed 18% gratuities in the bills allowing for mediocre service from wait staff

The wifi didn’t work for the tv so the entire time we didnt get to relax and watch a movie we went to front desk they didn't do anything the next day we went back and was told they was sending someone we stayed inside for hrs for nobody to show up there was only 1 pool available which was the small one i will never stay here again it was my 1st and last time

Hi staff was amazing , however I feel like I was lied to. When booking room on Expedia for 3 travels the rooms looked spacious and modern . When we got there it was extremely small and lacked many features. Vastly different from pictures of Expedia and website .The bathroom was moldy and had no vent . The beds were a size Full . Everything was alarmingly small and lacked . I won’t be staying here again . Very disappointed. The staff however were amazing!!

WORST HOTEL IN SOUTH BEACH.BEWARE while booking this Hotel. I recently booked this hotel for four nights and the hotel did not have a room for me. They forced me to stay at a hotel next door claiming that it managed by them- the hotel's air conditioner was not working and they had nobody from maintainenace to fix it. The management did not want to cancel my booking nor did they want to issue me a refund. Basically they charged me for a room at Catalina and told me to stay at a subpar hotel. The agent Hotels.com claims they cannot intervene in this situation and confirm that the hotels has a no refund policy. I DID NOT STAY IN THE HOTEL ROOM AND AM ASKED TO PAY FOR ALL DAYS AND THE ROOM FEE. THIS HOTEL HAS DECIVED ME AND I WILL NEVER BOOK AT THIS HOTEL AND WOULD LIKE TO WARN AND ADVISE OTHERS OF THE SAME- IF YOU WOULD LIKE TO GET YOUR MONEY'S WORTH DO NOT STAY AT CATALINA
