The elevator was out and we were on the fourth floor. After about two days of complaining out of our 5 they finally moved us to a better room (and my wife had to get bitchy for that to happen) ..in a different building. THE ONLY GOOD THING ABOUT THE HOTEL IS THE FREE HAPPY HOUR EVERY DAY FROM 7pm-8pm.. pool on the roof top looks like they got it from Walmart. No either speaks English or say they don’t to avoid communication with the guest. My wife and I trip was 7-28-18 to 8-1-18. Would not go back nor recommend !

The hotel staff did not pick up the phone every time you call for service, they were not attentative to the customers & my room was not clean the whole time I was there. The picture of my hotel room was not the same in person.

After reading all the reviews, I picked this hotel plus 2 more nights staying...50 years ago, this is called HOTEL, but now it will called it MOTEL...Come on people, I believed that can’t compared to 5 stars hotel on the strip

I enjoyed it. This hotel is 3 hotels in one (okay 3 buildings) and I think they are each distinct due to the restaurants attached. I liked having options. One was American grill options while the other was Asian Fusion. I tried both, food was good at both. Staff was great. drinks were great as well. My brother was in the Penthouse only one room up there with an outdoor sun porch that is a great party spot. I had a room on the third floor, it had an air condition in it which kept me cool but not freezing like I sometimes need in Miami humid heat. My door magnet was broke so that kept me in the room for an hour longer than I wanted waiting for it to be fixed. My room was pretty big with what seemed like 2 queens beds in it!

Clean decent rooms close to everything and all party clubs would recommend going back this hotel is for partying not to relax great for partying nice front desk guys

Tiny rooms 2 people could not fit comfortably, walls are like paper, two broken beds, no dressers or bed side tables to store anything, tiny bugs infested the room, holes in the blanket, killed huge spider and roach in bathroom. Wallet and license went missing at hotel bar never got it back.

Great hotel, rooms are clean, stylish. I loved that they had 2 pools on rooftop and 1st floor. Great food in restaurants

We stayed one night to hang out on South Beach. Check-in is after 3. But they were able to accommodate us earlier. I paid for a third person in the room but then they didn't want to give them a beach chair etc. When I ask to speak to the manager they relented and gave us the Third persons amenities. Valet parking is $40. Biggest problem is it took almost an hour to get our car. Location is good to have a free drink happy hour from 7 to 8. We ate at Maxine's and it was good. Just a block to the beach and they provide Beach towels and chair rentals at the beach for free. Tip- park at the 16th Street public ramp $20 overnight and just walk the two blocks to hotel or use a lyft.

Staff was fantastic! Our room was right above the restaurant/Patio that played loud music throughout the night but we did know it was going to be noisy going in so it was not a big issue for us. If noise is a concern for you then I would not stay anywhere in south beach as its loud music anywhere you go. The location is about as good as it gets without spending the money to stay right on the beach.

This is not a family friendly hotel . This is a party hotel. We could not sleep at all. All night long yelling and screaming in the halls no security telling anyone to be considerate of other guest !!!

Room was not as pictured - 2 double beds crammed into a tiny room - no desk or chair or room for them - in fact barely room to walk. Loud music blasted all night right outside the door. Pool situation was pretty messed up with hotel vents exhausting right next to the cabanas poolside on the roof.

The staff in the day time were nice but I had to check out at 4am and the checkout front desk people were outside smoking cigarettes and were rather rude, especially to women who were coming in from a night out. There were also ants in my room and the room was a lot smaller than it looked. It was very loud at all times. However, there was free happy hour from 7-8 which was nice and the pools were spectacular. If someone was going to Miami on a low budget I would recommend but definitely not if they could afford something a bit nicer.

Missed my flight and found a location on near south beach and all the tourist attractions. Definitely would like to stay there no more than a night. Only bad thing is the hotel is 3 different buildings that are not connected on the inside so you have to go out side with your luggage to other buildings. Will defiantly consider staying there when I return to Miami.

My phone in room was broke upon arrival, i had no room service not once since i been there, had to complain to management ac was also a big issue

Had to change my room twice. First room I had the tv wasn’t working second room had ants all over the room.

Hello Larry. Thank you for writing a review. Our apologies, the elevator in our Maxine building was being serviced. Being a historic hotel, the parts are unique and takes a bit longer to locate. We were happy to accommodate you in a different room once one became available. It's nice to know you enjoyed our complimentary Happy Hour as it is a guest favorite. quaint boutique hotel

Hi Scott! We are pleased to learn you had a great overall stay with the exception of the extra person mix-up. Our valet asks that guests request their vehicle at least 30 minutes prior. Our apologies if it took any longer. Yes! We offer complimentary Happy Hour drinks nightly and Free beach amenities.
