I liked that the room did look like the pictures on the website. I disliked having to walk to another building for any needs or concerns. The bed was hard, the floor was dirty and there was only 1 roll of toilet paper in my room. I parked my car with valet and was told to call 30 minutes in advance for my car but no one answered the phone or the phone was off the hook. The main lobby was dirty andespecially the bathroom

I checked into the Catalina. It took a while I was waiting in the lobby for check in and I was suggested to do and while I was doing so, ppl ere checking in before me. When I realized this, I go up and a resident came angry because new residents opened her door and entered her room. This was an accident on the staffs part but it delayed my check in even more. When I finally checked in, I went to rest, I heard some noise on the ceiling and as I look up there were two giant roaches coming out of the skylight. I got back for the front and ask for another room. I was sent to a suite at the cordozo next door. It was an upgrade however the cleanliness was the same as the previous room. The headboard was full of dirt for some reason. Overall, they need to focus on cleaning around the headboards and do repairs around the hotel in general.

There’s a infestation in the building I had cockroaches in my room. The toilet handle was broke. There was hair in the shower walls, on the drain and on the bed. The bedroom walls were dirty as well.

I took my wife there for her birthday. This hotel offered a free happy hour from 6-7. The bartender Kat was amazing

when I checked in to my room there was people in the room who had checked out.

The customer service was great! They made sure we had enough towels and things. We didn't like the shower. The water pressure was low and the floor wasn't slanted enough to prevent water from flooding the rest of the bathroom. Our second day there our room had zero power to any outlet or lights. But they fixed it pretty quick. The mini fridge was stored on the floor and also had a minor leak problem.

Pros: the front desk staff is friendly. Cons: it was 6 of us, 3 rooms. None of our rooms were ready - check in is at 4! According to the front desk staff, due to late check out and cleaning. Why would hotel allow late check out when they have other guests coming in? And I must also say that it wasn’t just our party that was waiting to be checked in, many other people were waiting as well. Once we get our room, there were no towels - we had to go get them ourselves. The room was subpar for lack of better words. The bathroom tiles, the window in the bathroom all looked dingy. There was a stain on the floor next to my friend’s bed. I must say that the mattress was quiet comfortable. Now the hotel amenities - plain gross. We took the elevator (which took forever, and had no air circulation) to the rooftop to look at the pool. The pool was just plain disgusting. The water was cloudy, it looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in months. The only good thing about this hotel is its location, yet I do not recommend it.

The rooms were small and outdated

The halls, elevators, pools were dirty and unkept.

This hotel was by far the absolute worst hotel I have ever stayed at. The rooms are nothing as described or pictured on the website. The rooms are filthy, smell like marijuana and are super dated. The public areas are disgustingly dirty, the pools are not cleaned and the staff does not take responsibility for anything. Social distancing and face coverings are not a priority to the staff and there are absolutely NO COVID safety measures in place. Both restaurants located on the property also have no COVID safety measures in place and the staff is rude and arrogant.

This place was extremely disappointing. There was blood all over my bed.

The hotel is located in a prime area. I paid over double the regular rate as it was during spring break. The rooms are older but renovated. Bathroom was very dated. Floor way sticky when I arrived. The key on my door continued to have issues and I went down to the reception numerous times to have them fix it. Overall, this is a party hotel and a good place to stay if you want to have a good time and meet new people. I would say it’s not so suitable for families.

Stay away! No COVID rules are being followed. NO one wears masks inside the establishment and no one stays six feet away. Aside from that, the hotel staff allows people to smoke and do drugs in the hotel lobby and by the door entrance. Aside from that, the front desk is extremely rude. The hotel room is not clean and the hallways had dirty clothes, dirt covers, used tooth brushes, etc.

What I like a about Catalina hotel it’s that I can sleep and it’s no much noise on the street I like the have 27/7 restaurant but the only thing I don’t like it’s the I have to past the restaurant just to go to the rooms

Thank you for your review. We are a historic hotel that was built in the early 1900’s, so our boutique rooms are smaller than modern accommodations which is common in Miami Beach. We appreciate your feedback.
