Noisy at night. Too close to street and bars. However, walking distance to the beach. Parking is not free.

Was nice and clean , food downstairs were very nice and delicious! Great location , recommended

We arrived to check in about 9pm after coming back from Bimini, to a reception with music so loud the people working could not hear you. Checked into the room to find small bugs crawling all over the walls and bed. Moved us to what they call a suite, I wouldn’t class it as a suite but it was clean but at the back of a restaurant through a fire exit and down a long corridor (quite strange) But had a good night sleep bed was comfortable

The Catalina offers a lot for those who aren't too fussy, including a very pleasing resturant with outdoor tables along Collins Avenue.

Like happy hour free drinks 7-8 pm, horel was steps away from beach, room was updated and stylish !

Very convenient the pool was dirty & cold beds horrible

Great hotel Close to everything. The pools were very nice and clean. the rooms were also very chic.

I always stay at one of the South Beach Group Properties. The waiters and bartenders at the Hotel are usually always pleasant. This time I had the opportunity to chat with the manager of Maxine's who was cheerful and seemed to take pride in his job, as he cared about what the guests thought. For this reason, I will continue to use this group on my frequent travels to SB. See you guys again soon!

Nice hotel, I got a noise room that sit right above a 24x7 bar/restaurant and next to the stairs and the hotel crew/staff closet so there were a lot of door slamming in the morning. The room seems spacious and clean, no tub only shower, which is fine by me, but I'm sure others would like to know that. Weird part was going through the restaurant to get to the elevator or stairs to my room and no ice maker on my floor. I had to go down to the restaurant/bar to get ice :)

The location is awesome, the staff was nice but the hotel could use some renovations. The rooms are very small and the beds are very low. Happy hour is nice

The elevator was out and we were on the fourth floor. After about two days of complaining out of our 5 they finally moved us to a better room (and my wife had to get bitchy for that to happen) ..in a different building. THE ONLY GOOD THING ABOUT THE HOTEL IS THE FREE HAPPY HOUR EVERY DAY FROM 7pm-8pm.. pool on the roof top looks like they got it from Walmart. No either speaks English or say they don’t to avoid communication with the guest. My wife and I trip was 7-28-18 to 8-1-18. Would not go back nor recommend !

The hotel staff did not pick up the phone every time you call for service, they were not attentative to the customers & my room was not clean the whole time I was there. The picture of my hotel room was not the same in person.

After reading all the reviews, I picked this hotel plus 2 more nights staying...50 years ago, this is called HOTEL, but now it will called it MOTEL...Come on people, I believed that can’t compared to 5 stars hotel on the strip

I enjoyed it. This hotel is 3 hotels in one (okay 3 buildings) and I think they are each distinct due to the restaurants attached. I liked having options. One was American grill options while the other was Asian Fusion. I tried both, food was good at both. Staff was great. drinks were great as well. My brother was in the Penthouse only one room up there with an outdoor sun porch that is a great party spot. I had a room on the third floor, it had an air condition in it which kept me cool but not freezing like I sometimes need in Miami humid heat. My door magnet was broke so that kept me in the room for an hour longer than I wanted waiting for it to be fixed. My room was pretty big with what seemed like 2 queens beds in it!

Thank you for the feedback and we greatly apologize for the inconvenience. We try our very best to keep nature out of the rooms given our year-round tropical weather. We are glad our supervisor was able to upgrade you right away. Thank you for allowing us to turn around your experience.
