Standard sets the standard. Away from the madding spring break crowds we throughly enjoyed our anniversary.
Parking and coffee should be free considering the price per night. Surrounding restaurants mediocre...service went out the door when we did not order alcohol. Room was ok, the pool and gardens were great.
Loved everything!!! From the spa to the amazing food, I never left the property during my four day stay. It has everything I needed for a perfect mid winter getaway from NYC!
as usual great staff and wonderful front desk! PLEASE NEVER AGAIN ROOM 6 - FELT LIKE IN NYC BUSY STREET! and the housekeeping knocking at 9am not cool. Nevertheless, we loved our short time there.

I arrived at 1 PM and was informed that check-in is at 4 PM which is normal. In the meantime they told me to enjoy the hotel amenities. At 7 PM I came back to get my room and was told that they were out of rooms. I was sent to another hotel about 15 minutes away. Cant believe a hotel like the Standard would do this to their clientele.
