Right in the heart of South beach with all the restaurants and night life.great staff clean rooms breakfast would stay here anytime again..

Perfect location. Fantastic staff. Nice hotel without pretense.

Hotel staff were very accommodating. The room was clean and updated. Good breakfast included with the room and a full restaurant and bar with good food. Great location too!

This is the best location if you are attending the South Beach Food & Wine Festival. It is very close to the Grand Tasting Tent allowing for breaks throughout the event. The hotel is also very close to the North Venue. The rooms are boutique size, simple, but clean. I rate the staff as excellent. The were very friendly and helpful.

I live in Miami and had GF fly in from out of town, stayed the weekend on beach. perfect place to enjoy night, even got bumped up to ocean view room! would stay again

Nice boutique hotel. Free drink and free breakfast.

Regular place, at least cleanses good, but service in restaurant not good, old place need be restart, prefer look for other options next time

The hotel is a little outdated compare to others in the area. The rooms are moderately small and so are the bathrooms. The elevator is tiny and always smells of mildew no matter what time of the day . The front desk staff was very nice and accommodating. However if you are not eating at the location the staff can be very unfriendly. Overall it was a decent stay but I wouldn't stay back at this hotel.

The breakfast "included" was beyond disappointing. Your better off paying $6 down the street and get a REAL breakfast. Valet is $40 so park in the public garage done block away on Collins. The floor in the room was dirty but everything else was clean. Our room was very small but for a short overnight stay it was perfect. Probably wouldn't recommend it for more than two people and def not for a longer stay!

I wont use this property again. The place is old, had bad smell in the hallways and room, bad bed & pillows, dirty floor... bathroom is very small and shower wasn't working very well.

My cousin and I went for a girls trip and the room ended up being a bit more decorated for romance, it made us laugh a lot. The location was great and the trip was wonderful!

The only bad thing was when I arrived, late at night....before I called from Colombia to say that I would arrive aftet midnight....but in the front desk nobody knew about it...my reservation was NO SHOW!!! Affortunatly Gustavo (staff) helped me and no problem....

The stay was ok. You have to make sure you get there at check in time and not earlier. I had to waste a lot of time when I really wanted to rest. The rooms are great.

The only good thing I can say about this hotel is a bartender that helped us out. It was his second shift, young, chill, nice guy! Other then that room service was horrible! I went looking for an ice machine on my floor and I was told to go to other floors too look....... so I did and no ice on any floor then when I went back to the front desk I was told to go to the hotel next door! REALLY GUYS?!?!?! Don't get me started on breakfast! Breakfast ends at 10:30am we got there at 10:15am the server made a HUGE deal about it almost not wanting to serve us. I can not believe this hotel is still in business! I wish I could get my money back. Worst service I have ever had!

Nice hotel best view and location to the ocean.I recomend this hotel for couples

My Girlfriend and I just returned from a week at the Penquin Hotel. We are 40 year old Adults . We found the Staff , treated us like Family, great breakfast service enjoying the porch. All bartenders made GREAT drinks throughout the day and evening. Also , boxed lunches from the menu anytime during the day for us to take to the beach, YUM! We really liked how quiet the hotel was at night for sleeping, No Loud music, Screaming teenagers, and Loud cars. The BAD time was the garbage truck at 630am Every day ! The Beach across the street was so inviting! Went there at least 6-8 hours everyday . We are looking forward to our next time there ! ENJOY !

The hotel did not covered my expectations. There was a problem with the bathroom water. The air conditioner was horrible laugh

This is a great location to enjoy South Beach, especially if you don't need the high-end Miami experience, and simply want a clean, convenient, comfortable, authentic Deco place as home base while you visit. It's toward the northern end of Ocean Drive right on the beach, provides two free welcome drinks, free wifi, and free continental breakfast with a Lummus Park-front Starbucks with patios a half block away, a few blocks from Espanola, a few blocks from Lincoln Road, a few blocks from the busiest hotels/restaurants on Ocean Drive. Very nice staff, comfortable room. Easily recommendable.

Room was small but most are down there... not to sound proof you can hear every conversation going on in the hallways.. Food was good at restaurant but drinks were on the weak side, I love the beach and the fact that you can leave your car there till 4pm after check out.

Dear Shadae, Thank you for taking the time to post the review. Your feedback is extremely valuable to us. Be informed, that we will be renovating our rooms and lobby area in the coming weeks. This should fix the room, and bathroom issues. We do have a policy that there is no outside food in lobby due to our hotel restaurant. You are more than welcome to bring food to your room if you wish to eat food from the outside of the hotel.

Dear Anna, We greatly appreciate you for taking the time taken in leaving us with your comments. In addition there are a few other options if you do not wish to pay the $40 per day for valet. Our front desk has been trained to let all our guest know about the options. In addition we are currently working on the continental breakfast menu for more variety.
