We chose The Palms Hotel & Spa in Miami Beach for a peaceful family vacation, but our stay turned into a highly stressful and unacceptable experience due to severe noise disturbances, extremely poor management, and failure to honor a refund commitment. We stayed in room 320 for five nights. On the second night, at 10:00 PM, a renovation crew began heavy demolition work directly beneath our room in the lobby area. The drilling and construction noise continued until 4:00 AM, making it impossible for my family to rest. Despite multiple complaints, the night manager was uncooperative, dismissive, and extremely unprofessional. The renovation continued again the following night, causing additional disruption. The next morning, the hotel’s internal manager acknowledged the issue, offered a complimentary breakfast as compensation, and provided written confirmation that one night of our stay plus the service fee would be refunded. However, on the last night of our stay, the hotel rented the event hall directly under our room for a wedding party with loud music late into the night. Once again, we were unable to sleep due to excessive noise. In total, three out of five nights of our stay were severely disrupted, and the hotel failed to provide a quiet and comfortable environment, which is a basic expectation when booking a hotel at this price level. Despite receiving an email from hotel management confirming the refund, over two weeks have passed with no refund issued. The hotel has als

Great location and enthusiastic bag/valet service. Front desk could be a little friendlier. The shower in my room was set up so you almost have to get wet right when you turn it on.

This was the second year out conference was in Miami and the second year I stayed at the Palms. My room this time was just okay. I had a street side room and was on an interior corner so my window was adjacent to a wall of windows for other rooms. There was no privacy unless I kept my curtains pulled. The meals were outstanding.

My sisters and I stayed here to celebrate a milestone birthday! We were completely blown away with the friendliness and helpfulness of the entire staff! It was so refreshing to expereince. The hotel is very well located to get anywhere you want to go. Our room was spotless and well appointed. Loved the seperate washroom and shower room. We will absolutely come back again and again!
