This is a nice hotel. The decor makes it look amazing but the trained eye can see that it’s pretty old. The rooms are somewhat updated and filled with snacks and treats that all cost a pretty penny. Disappointed to not even see a complimentary bottle of water or ANY space in the fridge for my own items. — tacky in my opinion. The bed was very cozy and the room was clean. Added stations and outlets for cell Phone charging was a nice plus. My view was of the street. Noting special. Ceiling fan was in the room which was nice. The grounds are well kept. And they should be for the added on resort fees you will pay each day (whether you use the amenities or not) So use the amenities!!!! And the parking is another $40-$45 per day. So overall this is a nice older hotel that is decorated BEAUTIFULLY with well kept grounds, a super cute pool area, over priced restaurant and bar with “just okay food”, and access to the beach (which is the highlight!!!!). I’d stay again if I found a special rate... but paying over $200 a night plus all the fees makes this an overpriced hotel. There are others in the same price Range that are newer with less fees. If money doesn’t matter to you, it’s nice enough. Again, the decor is fabulous! And the beach is 5 Star!

Hotel was everything I could’ve asked for. The staff were super friendly from the reception to bellmen and cleaning. The location was awesome being ocean front and easy access to the beach. The entire resort had the best smell the entire stay. It was very well kept and maintained and the restrooms were out of this world. I highly recommend checking out the spa on the lower level. It was probably the best massage and scalp treatment I have ever had. I would recommend this hotel to anyone planning to go to Miami Beach area. I definitely will stay again in the future.

Just returned from this place and I was super impressed and content with the hotel. The hotel is exactly the picture you see display on the internet. Staff were amazing and so welcoming. Also very helpful with giving you information especially since I didn't know my way around. I would totally recommend this place over and over again.

Good location at top of mid-beach so you are a bit away from the south beach chaos. The staff was extremely accommodating. Really nice hotel, room and bathroom were upscale. I was unable to stay had to request an early checkout. The reservation rep was extremely accommodating in refunding the remaining unused nights which shows their commitment to customer service. We were very grateful.

Went w my husband and 3 year old and we all had a great time... Especially at the pool and the beach. Breakfast was a bit pricey so we had breakfast at the local spot two blocks away every morning.

The hotel is nice and clean. The beach is right next to it, so if you are looking to spend most of the time at the beach it's perfect. The lobby is really nice, rooms are clean and relatively comfortable, but not to spacious. The staff doesn't speak much english and could do better in terms of customer service. You have to figure out some of the things by yourself. It is a couple miles from the epicenter of South Beach so if you can't walk for 4-5 miles back and forth in the evening you would definitely need a taxi. You can barely find any good restaurant in it's proximity so going down to Washington Avenue or Lincoln Road mall it's a must for that. Reaching the hotel from the airport it's very very convinient if you don't mind taking the city bus, it stops right by the hotel. Again, overall a very good hotel if you like to spend more time on the beach and don't mind hopping on a taxi to get to the restaurants area in evenings.

Highly recommend this fabulous quaint hotel. Staff is so friendly and welcoming- grounds are clean and fresh- beach is a few steps away- it's like your own private paradise. Very calm relaxing - I would even come here for a long weekend ALONE for a little mental getaway.

The hotel was in the perfect location for a weekend trip for my girlfriend and I. The hotel and beach staff were all very friendly. The room was excellent and we enjoyed our stay at the hotel as well as the a day at the spa.

There was black mold in the bathroom which triggered my allergies. Bed was quite hard and uncomfortable. Woke up with small bites on my body and not sure if they were mosquito bites or something else. To top it all of, we got at the hotel at a quarter to 4 and was made to wait until after 4pm to check in which I have never experienced in any of the hotel I've stayed at.

Very nice resort I will definitely choose again to stay there

Pricing paid is not worth the value. Location is good for the beach however there is not much in the area.

The hotel was very accommodating and provided everything we were looking for. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone staying in South Beach, Miami

There are so many positive things about this hotel: great location, classic/quality feel, excellent service, lovely grounds. And most importantly, it's a smaller resort with diverse and well-maintained outdoor spaces. You don't have disco music blasting around the pool area, like our experience in neighboring the Confidante. Breakfast buffet was satisfactory. I wish they didn't have all those frozen pastries! Also, the beach area is beautiful. We would like to come back.

Had a great time at the pool and the beach. Had to wait over an hour for check in. Ordered a mini frig for our room that never showed up. Concierge did not seem to know about any cheaper rates or special deals that were all over the area. We were there since Wednesday morning and continually asked about any Superbowl specials or party. One sign appeared by the restaurant advertising some specials, but again that being all. On Sunday morning all tables outside the bar area had reserve signs on them, and nobody knew why. No communication. We were able to sit outside by the tiki bar and watch the game which was great. Again though no communication as nobody knew this earlier in the day.

Staff was very friendly. Felt like home not a hotel and the view was amazing. Clean pool beach was near by did not have to walk much.

It is our 6th time in this hotel. I think it says everything.

Awesome hotel! Friendly staff, nice pool, beautiful landscaping right on the ocean!

Staff very helpful, organized, and attentive; rooms in excellent condition; pool and exercise room in excellent shape. Only downside is that food is very expensive. But, if that's an issue, lots of restaurants within walking distance.

Everything about this place is 5 star. When you walk through the pathway to the beach you feel like you are on a tropical island. Do yourself a favor and experience this place.

Nice hotel, walk with extra money if you plan on having meals and drinks at the hotel "pricey" Stayed October 2016
