If you’re looking for intercourse and a continental breakfast, this is your place. If you’re looking for a pool with a view or an outdoor bar over the bay, go somewhere else. This hotel underutilizes their privileged location where the Miami river meets the Biscayne Bay. The pool is right on the water, but they managed to block the view completely with 5 overbuilt cabanas. The pool bar has its back to the bay. So no view from the bar. There is a laaarge lawn, where you ‘could’ see the giant cruise ships coming in and out, except they built an outhouse, yes, an outhouse right on the edge of the water to block your view. So view of the bathrooms from the lawn. There is a raised terrace with great views! But wait, it’s blocked by pool equipment. Unforgivable.
It wouldn’t take much to remodel the pool and lawn area to maximize the spectacular views that you’re blocking. Get it together Intercontinental!
