Nice hotel, but not the best. If I rate my last 3 trips to with stay in Brickell, I would rate: 1. Mandarin oriental 2. Habitat (apartment hotel) 3. Hyatt For Location: Hyatt centric For luxury feeling: Mandarin oriental For great size apartment/room: Habitat
Was in Miami for a few nights over the New Year, stayed at the new Hyatt Centric, and it turned out to be a great choice! The staff was very welcoming. The restaurant was great! The room was well appointed! I will stay here if I’m back in Miami!!
This hotel is located in the finance district. Very close to big shopping malls, restaurants. Peaceful surroundings. Hotel room was very spacious and had quite modern equipment. Everything looked clean. Roof swimming pool seemed nice too.
Great location in Brickell. The staff was amazing as was the service. The views from the balconies facing the water are excellent. I ate two meals in the restaurant and both were fantastic. The hotel is in great condition. I believe its a new property. The outdoor seating at the restaurant on the second floor is great for people watching. I will be back very soon.
I have nothing but good things to say about this hotel. All my requirements were met (request for high floor room with balcony and nice view of the bay) and from the moment I stepped out of the taxi, the staff were superb - very warm and welcoming. The in-house Cuban restaurant, Cana, is available from 7am until 11pm and includes room service. Quality of food is good, however, as can happen sometimes, if something is not perhaps cooked exactly as you would like, the servers are super quick to make it right for you.I will definitely stay here again when I'm next back in Miami.
This hotel has all the potential to be a top downtown Miami hotel but is in dire need of some service training and assets. - Valet - Spoke zero english and was not only unhelpful but borderline rude that I didn't speak spanish. I live in South Florida and this is a common issue here ... at bodegas, not at high end hotels in the financial district of a major US City. - Front Desk - Wife left reservation under my name, this happens often as she travels so much and has the reward program. She was staying with me, just arriving several hours later, the hotel was booked using my credit card and my name was on the reservation, we just used her reward account to book. Front desk told me I couldn't check in under her name and I'd have to wait for her to arrive. Finally she called to straighten it out. Room Service - There is none. We got back late and asked if they were serving and they said yes. Ordered a couple turkey sandwiches, but when the knocked on the door they advised us they didn't have sandwiches but offered some disgusting old Cesar salad instead. While the gesture was appreciated, another service fail. If you don't have room service, tell someone, so they can make the decision to go somewhere else to get food. Folio- Wouldn't let me checkout because of the issue with my wifes name (we have the same last name) had to send the folio to my wife to send to me. Rooms are nice but low frill. Minibar is sparse, overall I'd usually rate this 4 stars but the service is awful. Being in Miami is not an excuse for poor customer service and people should stop accepting that as an excuse. There are plenty of hotels here who will treat you right for the money you are paying.
This hotel has it together! They have absolutely spotless rooms, huge bathroom, delicious food, amazing staff and awesome city and bay views! I heard absolutely no noise from my neighbors and was pleasantly surprised with a very large balcony with chairs and table! Starbucks coffee was included!
Miami vacation at Hyatt Centric Brickell Miami. Excellent experience in all respects. Hotel room was well and thoughtfully appointed, and staff was very accommodating. On a return visit to Miami this hotel would be our first choice.
I stayed 1 week in this hotel during 1 week of december and they cleaned the room only 2 days and for the rest of the days they even not show up to clean the room or even to put shampoo, soap, toilet paper or towels... I complained and asked many times for them to clean the room... it was the worst stay ever. Avoid this hotel.
From statr to finish, our meeting was completely taken care of and I have to worry about nothing. The staff was professional, friendly and on top of our needs 100%! We will definitely be back for another meeting and will recommend the Hyatt Centric Brickell.
