We've had good experiences here in past 2 years, but something went south here this year. Didn't seem as if the staff had been trained properly, especially the wait staff at the restaurant and the maid. Food was inconsistent and often missing, or rather never arrived at the table. At times we got tired of waiting for our food and just ask for the check which sometimes took another half hour or more. I've heard of laid-back but this took it to a new level. The towels were ratty looking and anything but soft. The cards to open the door didn't work most of the time. The jeep we got that was recommended by front desk was a piece of junk and overpriced. I will not return here

Front desk employees seemed preoccupied at the computer rather than acknowledging a guest. An advanced email was sent to request rooms on the second floor but they had no knowledge of the request (this has happened before). The dining room staff gave wonderful serve every day.

Super staff, great people like Andres and Miguel downstairs. We have been staying here since it was the old Hotel Fontan. Best deal on the island.

Always great here, made more improvements. Ben staying here for years, good food & pool

The service was very poor, food mediocre and staff not helpful nor motivated in the least bit concerning customer service. Our room was sprayed with pesticide while we were out for coffee. We came back to a room filled with noxious fumes that we had to evacuate, without any assistance from the staff. My wife and I both experienced headaches and nausea while in the room and for the entire afternoon thereafter. The manager on duty made a totally irresponsible claim that we would be "fine" and that they do this all of the time. When I asked for some form of compensation for the threat to our health and the ruining of the last morning and afternoon of our vacation he offered to take 10% off our room charges. This amounted to a paltry 90 pesos ($6 US) quite an insult considering we spent about $500 US there during our three night stay. Let me qualify this by saying that my wife and I do quite a lot of traveling and I have never written this scathing a review. Stay away!!

Hotel B, I cannot thank you enough for your wonderful hospitality during my April 2016 vacation. As a solo traveler, I felt very safe and supported by the wonderful Hotel B staff. From the moment I arrived to your hotel I knew I was in for a great few days. My room was so clean and comfortable. The ocean view was so relaxing and every night I was able to sit on my balcony and watch the amazing sunsets. Breakfast was always a great experience - Miguel and Kristian took great care of me everyday and my included American breakfast was a wonderful value! I also loved tasting the fresh juices, they were great. The grounds are well maintained and the decor is modern and chic. I love the hot tub right on the water's edge! Fransisco at the front desk was also so helpful!! The DJ for 80's night was very fun and played a great selection of music. I also loved having dinner on site - the ceviche was wonderful and my steak was HUGE. A special thanks to Chef Azahel Moran who gave me a private cooking class, he was very knowledgable and I can't wait to try the recipes at home. My only question for Hotel B is could you please consider putting mini-fridges in the rooms? I love exploring the island and bringing back goodies to my room but had no place to keep food. Also, your wonderful restaurant has huge portions and I would have loved to bring my leftovers back to my room for the next day. I've already selected my week for next April and look forward to booking as soon as possible!!

Nice pool area, beautiful caleta at the beach, good location, simple rooms

We stayed at Hotel B for a wedding that was being held there. It was perfect. It felt like we had the entire place to ourselves.

We have been to Cozumel many times and have watched it evolve from a small diver's island to a busy tourist destination. This was our first stay at the Hotel B. It was perfect for us....small, intimate, and away from the crowds. Its a cab ride away from the town, where there are many great restaurants and shops The hotel room was clean and the staff was courteous and helpful and most importantly, there was always a beach lounge available

Stayed here last Feb.2014. Sorry for late review. My wife and I loved this place! Staff was very friendly, good food at the restaurant, very romantic. Stayed in a room on the 3rd floor, great view! Only negative was the techno-trance music playing most of the time. Would definitely recommend this hotel!

This was certainly a quaint place. It is actually rated 4 on the island and it was apparent why. When we first got there we had to wait for our room because we were early so because of the wait they put us in an ocean view (upgrade) room that was perfect. The view is really nice and I can't say enough about the amenities. You go to Cozumel to be outside and they designed the outside to please. Just outside the infinity pool is a small inlet that introduces the snorkeling enthusiasts to the sea. This wall that follows the hotel's length is some of the most beautiful coral I have seen. And most importantly Cozumel can be very very crowded due to all the cruise ships but we were 3 miles north of town in our own little paradise. They even have a hot tub built into an out cropping of rocks at the edge of the ocean to warm up after snorkeling. We will definitely be back. Wonderful staff and perfect get away.

Great option for diving with ScubaDu - they pick you up at pier of HotelB. Happy Hour - 2 for 1 every day. Good live music several times a week at pool. Good value for prime location on the sea

This hotel was an excellent value and quality for the price. The only drawback is slow service, but expect this in Mexico in general - you are on island time. Even though it can take 15-20 minutes to get a cup of coffee, the staff are very polite, the atmosphere is warm and inviting, and the views are breathtaking.

A little bit far from the "city" but you get a very nice room and the view is amazing. The poll is great and the beach is so beautiful. Not the best in Cozumel but worth the money.

Hotel B is a very nice and quiet place. Room was clean and staff very friendly. Beds are a little hard as well as the pillows. I would stay again and recommend for other people to stay.

We loved staying at this quaint hotel. Yoga daily each morning and healthy juices and meals along with organic bathroom supplies really make it special! They have paddle boards and kayaks too. Christian from the resort remembered our names and was very sweet. The resort has a beautiful ocean view with excellent snorkeling! I will definitely return here soon!

We absolutely loved this property, however, the rooms smelled like an open sewer all the time. The hotel staff, especially the front desk manager Christian, top notch! Food was wonderful and staff members were very attentive.

The best blue water on the island, the simple modern style, everything spotlessly clean, the FOOD served seaside - it is all perfect! Every hotel has a beach with a bunch of chairs on it, but not Hotel B. It is a diving, swimming, relaxing paradise on Cozumel.

Hotel B is a really nice small hotel. The staff is amazing -- they are extremely attentive and seem to enjoy their jobs. The grounds are beautiful and perfectly kept. There are different places to sit that make the hotel seem different -- the pool area, the dining room, the yoga deck, the sand beaches. Access to the sea is easy and the area is good for basic snorkeling or just floating in the wonderful waters of the Caribbean. It is simple, well-designed, quiet. We recommend it and we would go back.

Stayed a week in mid-March and enjoyed everything in the Hotel with it's accommodations to be very good. The staff was friendly and helpful. Rooms were fair size, clean with comfortable beds.
