Room was cleaned daily.the staff were wonderful.only thing was the day we checked in we had to wait extra hour for our rooms to be ready as we had book 2,5 months ahead and there was 10 of us.my son in law had to put his foot down.they could have done a little more for Christmas as we had 2 little ones with us.no Santa.decorate the place was lovely.but felt it could have dive more as there was a lot of kids at this resort.and also to charge for a fridge in room and not have enough water in rooms that’s bad.we couldn’t even get milk for the little ones.but over all it was nice.

My wife received food poisoning the first night we were there. She was very cautious about eating anything there. There was noises coming from the room and had to move all of our stuff from one side of the hotel to the other WHILE my wife had food food poisoining. Alot of rock made entry into and out of the water sometimes a big hassle. The hot tubs do not work. Food is ok. I wouldnt reccommend.

Due for upgrade resort, clean rooms, awesome beach, very popular snorkeling spot with gear available on the site, great mini golf, nice tennis court, resort only 10 minutes away from Cozumel airport. Only two restaurants available, menu ok, for all inclusive no see food or very minimal (stayed during Christmas and New Year Eve, we had little bit of shrimps), very good nachos, coffee not good , room was supplied with only two bottles of water every day, for more have to pay extra, one of our favorite part there was no loud parties with music. Be prepared to pay extra for resort fee. We came in 2-3hours early tried to check in early, and first response was that we don’t have reservation, and later they found it, got checked in an 1hour late, late check out was available for extra cost. Overall experience was good, more like country style vacation with laid back friendly staff, Special thanks to maid services, room was done nicely and quick, so would I recommend this place to a friend? Yes and I would like to visit again in the near future

Food.... Buffet trays sat empty for hours, no labels on most items so you have to lift each lid to see what's there. Guy cooking on the grill was nice, but when that's by far the best thing at the buffet, it's a 20 min line most times. A la carte restaurant was nothing special, seemed like they were trying too hard to be fancy, and nothing was done all that well. Had to go down to the lobby in person at 8am and stand in a long line to have a chance to eat at the a la carte, no thanks. All lounge chairs on the beach gone by 9am daily.

Staff were very helpful and pleasant. Food was not good at all. (At the buffet) Which is why I am giving the resort only 3 stars. Rooms are clean but two lamps near the beds had bulbs just hanging. The air conditioner smelt mouldy and very noisy. Just a small sandy beach however very nice. It’s too bad that this resort does not spend some money to have better food which would make this resort so much better

The beach is great but would be better if they cleaned the seaweed. Broken chair in my room and my sisters room had water dripping from ceiling and mold on ceiling. The food was limited and we were excited to eat at the main dining room but the steak was weird with an odd texture. We ended up going out to dinner every night.we would rate the food a 1.we loved Cozumel and planning on going back but will not stay here again

Good Stuff: Room was clean and refreshed daily. We like the north hotel zone so the location was great. Drinks were not fancy but good and not watered down. Service was pretty good around the pool and in the restaurants. There was plenty of seating around the pools. Beach access was easy. Most of staff was friendly. Tips were not expected for every little thing and that was very nice. Not so good stuff: We didn’t have hot water for 5 days of our 7 night stay. We asked about it 4 times and someone came up once but did not fix it. Mattress and pillows were very hard and it’s probably time for new ones as the mattress was obviously sunken in the middle. Website said guaranteed restaurant reservations with premium SkyView room. That did not apply and it was hard to get a reservation-some people were waiting in line to put their names in as early as 6:30 am! So, we only got to eat in the nicer restaurant once. Food was inconsistent but we didn’t have any trouble staying full. There was apparently room service available but there were no instructions about how to order it and no in-room phones to use for things like that. There was an option to order off of a secret menu-fries, pizza,nachos- and we would not have known this had we not spoken to people who knew about it. Pools were too cold to swim in. Ocean temp was 81 and very tolerable so I’m guessing the water temp in pools to be 75ish. Birds ate from plates waiting to be cleaned and they left droppings in restaurants.

The buffet was very limited. No food variety on the 7 days we were there. A lot of bad food manipulation hopefully we didn’t get sick. Drinks was very bad very low quality. The Italian restaurant was extremely bad. And the pools are beautiful but very cold we couldn’t use it :(. The hotel has a lot potential for improvement.

This was by far the worst hotel experience I have ever had. It started with the horrible food—bland, poorly prepared, limited options, and often inedible. We were genuinely hungry during our stay, which is completely unacceptable. The amenities are falling apart. Everything looks old, broken, and poorly maintained. It feels like the hotel has been neglected for years, with no real effort made to keep the property safe or presentable. The room we got was not dirty, but it was moldy and extremely outdated.

Would stay at this resort again! Since we first arrived we were greeted with good customer service and a drink. Room as described and housekeeping would leave the room cleaned and spotless. The waiters would make sure we were attended. We especially appreciated a waiter named Hugo. He would make sure we were well attended with food or a drink. He made our stay more enjoyable. The pools were cleaned and the beach was beautiful with nice clear water. Would recommend this resort for a nice getaway.

We loved the view and the service. The food was really nice and everyone was willing to help us have a great experience. The part of the maintenance is true the hotel is not new but it is clean and the service, view, beach, food, etc compensate it. The chef was always supervising the restaurant so you could always ask directly to him and he was really accesible.

I spent Christmas 2025 at Cozumel Cozumeleño , and it was the worst resort experience I’ve ever had. The marketing is pure deception—what’s advertised online does not match reality. The property is crumbling: all hot-tubs were broken, malfunctioning shower doors, loose sink handles, and even a safety deposit box that barely worked. Stairs are crumbling with exposed wire making it unsafe The food was bland, repetitive, and poorly communicated. You only get certain items if you know the “secret menu” and ask for them specifically—ice cream, for example, is hidden unless you know to request it. Dining felt like a guessing game, and we barely ate because the food wasn’t worth it. Entertainment? Nonexistent. No music, no activities, not even on Christmas Eve. Guests dressed beautifully for the holiday sat around bored. The pool table was uneven, sticks had no tips, the ping-pong table was broken, and the gym was laughable—a tiny closet with one outdated machine. The front desk and activities desk gave conflicting information, leaving guests frustrated. This resort is a masterclass in marketing deception, delivering a subpar experience that feels like a scam. Clean and comfortable. We did not upgrade this year to 9th floor and stayed on the 8th floor. Loved it! Had an issue with our AC but they fixed it the 1st day.
