the staff and the food are as always wonderful. It's an older property and could use some minor plumbing repairs, it all worked well, but you can tell it's seen better days. The location is very nice and the beach one of the best to be had. We will be heading back again next year to do it all again.

Relaxing destination for sure.. Food was ok, but just like most all inclusive resorts, i waant expecting spectacular food. The rooms are very spacious but very outdated and the ac isn't the best. Honestly i chose tnis resort because of its location on the isla d! You can literally have fishes swimming around you..no snorkeling gear needed!

This resort is the worst place we have ever stayed. The rooms were disgusting, stained couch, disgusting shower, chipped tiles. There was only two possible places to eat and the quality was hardly edible. There was only a buffet and one half way decent restaurant that you could had to get up before 8:00 am the day you wanted a reservation. It was so bad that we actually left the resort early (Wednesday) and went to the Westin. The brochure is totally misrepresented, many of the features do not exist. THere was never hot water, I took many cold showers, All glasses were plastic that they reused and the black emblem would rub off on your hands. The outdoor furniture was cheap plastic and - the bathroom door so wharped - the shower door was even more disgusting. I have plenty of pictures but their website is definitely false advertising.
Molded bathroom door and creaked when you opened. There were black stains on the floor
Stained Couch in our room
Disgusting shower that was stained with either cold or warm water and no pressure
Cracked tiles on the stairs

We have been coming to this resort for years and we love staying here. It is a smaller resort which is one thing we love. We never feel unsafe letting our teens run to their room or hanging at the pool while we are at the beach. The staff is amazing and you’re never without a drink or food options. We love ordering lunch on the beach! But if you want something different, it’s a short taxi ride to town. The water is the most beautiful clear blue, perfect for snorkeling!

We upgraded our room to have a slice of ocean view…mostly palm trees. No coffee in room and waited up to 45 minutes every morning for it in the lobby. Same food served cafeteria style everyday and not good, so we paid extra to eat off resort. Black mold in the air conditioning so we turned it off after day one but was sick all week from it. The staff was wonderful and worked hard to make it all up to us and kept the resort clean. It was a tired old resort that will not return too. No entertainment and piles of seaweed on the beach.

We will never stay here again, and I recommend you also stay somewhere else. The people of Cozumel are friendly and the beach is gorgeous. Every room here faces the ocean to some degree. The hotel needs upgrades to rooms and processes. The buffet food is mediocre and repetitious, and the restaurant food is downright awful. Your booking doesn't guarantee your rooms. I booked several months in advance for two 2-bed/1-bath, adjoining available, ocean-view rooms for my family of 5. I contacted the hotel a month beforehand to verify accommodations, who said they put a note in our reservation. When we got there, the front desk attempted to "upgrade" us to a suite with only 3 beds and 1 bathroom. When we politely refused, she said we needed to wait and see what's available...not what you want to hear traveling internationally. After an hour of walking the property, they brought us to adjoining rooms: 1-king & 2-full beds. They offered a fold-out bed. We gave in because what other options did we really have? At least we had 2 bathrooms and somewhere to sleep. The rooms were very old with broken tiles and ceilings. The couch was disgusting and crumpled. The bathrooms were gross and we didn't have hot water for the first 4 days. We were facing NW so never got to watch a sunset from our balcony as hoped. The buffet was repetitious and mediocre, but so much better than the food at the restaurant for which you need to make same-day reservations. I'd have rather eaten MREs.

The Bad-- the bathrooms, especially the shower area need a major update or at minimum a deep clean. The food - the buffet the best thing is to order frim the grill or off the menu you scan off the napkin holder although half the items are not available it beats the cold buffet items anytime. The restaurant we ate at twice. Food looked fancy but tasted bland and was warm and not hot when it arrived. The Good- the beach is AMAZING. The snorkeling wonderful. The staff are so helful and kind.

The rooms are VERY tired. AC is incredibly noisy, but barely cools the room. we had to sleep with the patio door wide open. Thankfully there was a fairly strong wind coming off the sea. The shower was broken (was however fixed in a timely manner) The thermostat literally fell off the wall, lol. We stayed here because we were diving in Cozumel. It's very important to be well hydrated before your dives. They provided only 2 small bottles of the water wich were never replenished during our 2 night stay. I went to guest services (front desk) at 5:45 AM one morning before we were going to depart to go diving to request some water. THE HOTEL STAFF COULDNT EVEN PROVIDE US WITH BOTTLED, OR FILTERED WATER. I was directed to a weatercooler to fill my bottles, wich was completly empty. Staff refused to refill it! If you need the basic human necessity of water to survive, I highly recommend avoiding this hotel! We struggled to find edible food at the main buffet (my partner was sick both nights after having eaten there, we changed hotels the following day and she was fine after that) The view is great, the snorkeling is great but it stops there. Would never stay here again unless I literally had absolutely no other choice. The beds are rock hard, stained and their fix is to throw a thin foam topper on top of the 30 year old mattresses. We didnt have high hopes for this place to begin with, but it was BAD!

To anyone stressed about the bad reviews, ignore them. The food never ran out and there was lots to choose from. The buildings are old and wind/sand blown, and there’s seaweed on the beach, but that’s staying on the ocean. A gorgeous and warm ocean. You can order chips and guacamole right on the beach (not a “secret menu” you just have to ask like an adult). The staff was amazing and very helpful. Will 100% stay again. Thank you for the amazing stay!

This is my 4th trip to this hotel in 20 years. Let's start with the positive. The view is lovely, the blues and greens of the water are the most beautiful you will see. It has some rocky beach area to the south to see shells and a long beach to walk on to the North. It was very covered with seaweed and the water was muddied but a nice long, scenic walk. There are several staff that have been there for years and continue to have a smile and great service. The property is very small, two buildings, 1 buffet and 1 reservation restaurant. The reservation restaurant had horrible food the one night we ate there. The service was just as bad. It was my mom's birthday and we only got grumpy faced staff. We ate little of our food and left before dessert. We went over to the buffet and were welcomed with a smile, had great food and got the happy birthday we hoped for. The worst was the run down look of the hotel. It wasn't great when we were there 4 years ago, but it has gotten much worse. So many items with rust all over them, cracked cement stairs with rebar/steel bars showing, rusted/old looking balcony furniture, etc. Our tv never worked and after 4 times telling the front desk, I gave up. There is no way to contact the front desk without going to them. The lines are long and so is the wait. They are now using a QR code for hotel info but it is only available at the desk, not in the rooms. Very inconvenient! It was sad to know we probably won't return.

Room- wifi connection, outdated with balcony hazards for younger kids, no fridge, safe needs a key that you need to request and bed was shaped like a banana. Amenities- mini golf course needs maintenance, hole number 10 sucks, but our toddler wanted to do 18 holes daily and loved it. No activities from staff, snorkeling was awesome, pools are quite cold, sun doesn't hit the pools till after lunch. Volleyball court had giant rocks in the sand. Barely was set up the whole time we were there. You can rent jetskis right off the beach. Food- ask for what you need and want- they have it but you have to ask. We didnt know they had chips and guacamole but when we asked they brought it out. À la carte was not any better than the buffet outside. There were no desserts whatsoever aside from Jello but we did hear that Baker quit a week before. You can ask for ice cream and they have it in the back. Overall the staff were awesome... but the owner needs to step it up for the quality and invest some of his profits to support the hotel.
