We always stay at the Cozumel Hotel and Resort when we make our yearly trip. You just can't beat the great staff, the huge pool with the great courtyard, and dining in the beachside restaurant for breakfast. You can snorkel or dive from their pier and the dive shop is right there. It's close enough to walk to downtown San Miquel, or you can take a taxi. They have car rentals also, or bikes if you want to get some exercise. It's a WIN WIN WIN!

I would like to start by saying that everyone was nice and welcoming. From the cleaning lady to the front desk people. I felt absolutely in love with the workers and everyone that works in the resort. The hotel is nice and the pool is big, my family and I were very pleased with the rooms and amenities. However, what we dislike the most was that we we were not able to sit down at any of the 2 restaurants to have dinner because according to the “guest concierge” dinner was completely booked for the rest of the week. I wasn’t aware that we needed to make reservations to the restaurant since I was under the assumption that it is an all inclusive resort. With that said, we were limited to have dinner in the buffet area. I’m not sure what happens during dinner hours but the food was terrible. No salt, no flavor, it was just awful. We were surprised because during breakfast and lunch the food was ok but dinner time we were forced to go out and eat because we were hungry. They also have a snack bar that serves nachos, wings, burger and salad. My children, husband and I pretty much survived with that. Other than that, I was very disappointed that we were not able to eat a normal dinner based on “all inclusive privileges”, I expressed my concerns to the person from guest concierge but he didn’t seem to care. I explained that we were staying for 4 nights and 5 days … and still there were no accommodations after expressing my frustration.

Really a good spot near the main area Centro. Close to cruise ports and ferry ports. Pool was great. Beach was very good. Dock for dive boats and boat tours. Hammock in our room was really cool. The staff was amazing! The resort was so clean, the rooms had shutters on them ( if you were on pool side) to block out sun and noise. The pool is very nice as people say. The food was never lack of options - the made to eh meat and omelettes deserve hands up! Drinks always flowing and not watered down. Close enough for a half an hour walk to the city center or the main pier. Cozumel itself is very quiet, I am a go go person and haven’t been on a really in over ten years. So be prepared to relax fully. If you get to go on the snorkel trip to the reef, starfish bay and stingray bay do it!!! You get ceviche and beer while you wade in the ocean with stingrays honestly it was up there with my camel trek in the grand Sahara at sunset. The new years party( which is why I went because new years is my favorite day) was absolutely fantastic and would go back for that.

The resort needs a few refreshers – rooms and amenities. Breakfast were fine. Dinners left a lot to be desired. The pool area and the beach area were great! Still a great value for the money. We are likely to return..
The beach area is very nice – space for snorkeling, nice bar, and plenty of room to relax .

Staff was very helpful and room was well air conditioned. Drinks and bartenders were great. Only thing I would say is the food was mediocre. Some days were a hit and some were a miss. I am vegetarian an if I asked for a cheese quesadilla there would make it for me so that was great. I appreciated all the staff. Overall great especially and smirking near the beach club is lovely. Thank you to everyone, especially the cooks!

This was our third stay at the Cozumel Hotel& Resort (2023, 2025 & 26). There is a lot we like about the property which is why we keep coming back. The location to downtown, the lovely pool and the beach access to excellent snorkeling and the affordability are the highlights for us. The resort is always clean and the staff are typically friendly and helpful. This trip got off to a bumpy start. We arrived on New Years Day and were told that the pool side room we reserved was not available. They wanted to put us in a Garden side room facing the street. When we pushed back insisting that we reserved this room back in August they said that availability is not guaranteed and that it was first come first serve. I said, "that is not what having a reservation means!" We reserved and purchased a pool side room. After this uncomfortable exchange all they could do is make us stay in the garden view room for the first night and then we can see the next day if they had a poolside room available. They did have one so we moved to the poolside room. There was no talk of compensating us for their error or making it up to us in any way. They just acted like they didn't care and that is the way it is. It was a very unwelcoming way to welcome back a repeat customer who has also referred other people to them. The second issue is my partner and I got food poisoning from the pork dish they served at the buffet. We reported it as soon as we could. We both got really sick. Cost us 2 days to recover.

Beautiful resort and location. Staff was amazing, shows were fun. Only issue is we were unable to get reserved dinners and it did get more crowded towards the end of the week - which was expected. I felt very safe and taxis were nearby at all times. Definitely recommend snorkeling right near the resort where there was a lot of marine life.

Hotel is amazing overall. The views, the ocean, the drinks and room were all great. We rented a car for the week and always had room for parking. The buffet and Los Arcos were also good. The food service by the pool was only OK, very slow and food was bland. Overall we had a fantastic time and would return.
