The Hotel was dated and the carpet was warn out and dirty the room we had was next to the pic machine which was mounted one the hotel room wall sounded like a construction zone at night

The hotel was good but the neighborhood around it was pretty creepy ie people hanging out in the alleys and the smell of urine. I felt pretty safe inside the hotel though.

Came in to buffalo for my grandmothers 80TH bday. Called the day before because I knew I would be arriving early and asked would I be able to get a early check-in . The manager was more then accommodating . He told me to call the next morning when I was like an hour away to make sure the room was ready. Check in process was nice and fast . The woman at the front desk was very nice. When I got to my room that's when the disappointment began looked like the room was Rush cleaned . The picture in the bathroom had some type on white stuff on it. The carpet had stains and crumbs on it . I called the front desk the upgraded my room to an executive king and said someone would be up to bring my new keys . After waiting 30 minutes someone came up with the new keys . When I got in my new room the carpet was dirty and stained again at this point I was just over it. Got dressed and headed to my grandmothers party. I came into town as a surprise she didn't even know I was coming.

My room had a leak. We had to request towels and washcloths more than once. Service for our hospitality room was slow. Valet service was disappointing. The staff was polite and respectful. But on my next stay I will stay elsewhere.

Was looking for the cheapest possible hotel in the downtown area. This happened to be the most modestly priced. Overall it was very nice, but I would compare prices and just take the cheapest in the area as I am sure they are all of similar quality. This hotel is steps away from the Convention Center, the Chippewa district, and Shea's. A mile south is the Key Bank Arena and the waterfront. A mile north is Allentown and Roswell. A rail line is available if you don't want to walk. As far as beer, Big Ditch Brewing is a short walk and serves quality beverages in my opinion. As far as vegan food, a Mighty Taco is around the corner (people from the area know this local chain well).

We requested early check-in and were told that a room would be assigned by 10:30 AM however were not given a room until 12 PM. I was not happy with the stay mostly because the room was not properly cleaned before being assigned to us. The bed sheets were ripped and the tub was extremely dirty. Definitely not what I expected from Hyatt.

Needs some attention to details: shower fixtures falling apart, room door knows & locks need replacement. Overall, good stay.

Overall great stay, would recommend to anyone staying in the Buffalo area. GREAT JOB STAFF!!!

Nice hotel with great location. Very friendly and helpful stuff

From the Valet who cheerfully got my cell phone from my car when I forgot it after he reminded me to check my car, to the desk staff who got me extra blankets to the tech staff who came twice to show me how to use the TV and fix the heat in my room, they were all great. On the downside, the heat in my room needed fixing and the TV had apparently become unplugged behind the TV, I checked the wall before calling down, but they were all great. They seemed to genuinely want to help and be of service.

Spent four nights here. Disappointed. Was very sick during my stay and needed late night medicine a couple times. There was zero way to get any of that delivered to our room after the gift shop closed, which was quite early. Paid way too much for that room to not have access to simple amenities. Our room came stocked with about 6 tissues in our tissue box. When we ran out I called the front desk to request more and I was informed there were no tissues at that hotel. I don't think that is true. She eventually said she would have some delivered but they never showed up, so I had to use toilet paper all night. The staff kept trying to send me to the Rite Aid, which is located on the sketchiest stretch of downtown, and I was unable to walk to because of dealing with Pneumonia. Beds seemed very low quality and uncomfortable, even before my sickness set in.

The pool was filthy. Dirty floors and floating debt in the pool. Are shower was also dirty.

Met friends for a nice weekend in the Buffalo and Hamburg areas. The hotel was very enjoyable. The only real distraction was from people asking for money when we were on the hotel's patio having drinks.

Very accommodating. Good central location. Clean and quiet.

Everything was quite nice. Front desk staff were very nice. Very spacious, clean room with good bed. The pool is a bit small and has a metal floor, which was strange, but they had pool toys out- great for our 5 year old. (noodle, fish, etc). The hotel was quite full, pretty touristy. Parking- you can valet for $25, but there are also two other lots that they valets told us about right across the street. We stayed two nights and used the covered lot across the street, which was the cheapest option- $12 total (because Sunday is free). No free breakfast, but good spots to eat walking distance away.

Disappointed that you have to pay to park when the rooms arent cheap. But the rooms and the hotel was nice

The hotel is nice unsuitable. And that goes for the staff as well at the front desk where they seem to be less friendly and all business. When they could have been more pleasant and combined the two. The lobby is choppy in its layout. The rooms are fine. The bathrooms are getting tired as the sinks fill up with water because they don't drain well and the shower fixtures don't work properly in a sense that they're very difficult 2 pull out. They work but they should be replaced or maintained. Otherwise I would stay there again.

Nice hotel downtown buffalo. Excellent on site steakhouse (EB Greens). Older building and rooms. Not overly special - but affordable and clean. Very friendly and accommodating staff.

room was comfortable, excellent front desk employees, assisted with a double booked room
