The stay was better than expected, rather clean and organized. Convenient valet parking. Nice view from 9th floor. The swimming pool and gym were closed, as it was pointed out at the website. I would definitely stop there again, especially if the pool would've be open.
It was fine. The TV was way too large for the small room and positioned at the side of the bed which made it difficult to watch TV from the bed. I would suggest a smaller tv that could be mounted to the wall for space.

What I am most disappointed and infuriated about it that my $700 Tiffany's necklace was stolen from room on the first day. The establishment took no responsibility for this. They claim to have checked the log in records of the cards use to open the room and none of the cards were from any of the employees there. They had the audacity to say I may have misplaced it. There in no way in hell I would misplace my Tiffany's necklace period, and especially on the first day when I had yet to wear it. Besides this the hotel was under construction, it was loud, dirty/dusty, the pool was closed and the Starbucks was closed half of the days of my stay. I would never stay at any Hyatt Hotel of any of their affiliates.
When we checked in our room wasn’t ready, we were given a room with 2 twin beds instead, the next day I went to the front desk to see if we could get the king suite we had booked and was told they over booked the hotel and I was lucky to even have a room, on top of all that our room was a dump.

Bathroom glasses were dingy and there were fake fingernails left on the carpet -- not cool. Also had trouble at reception with no one around to guide us when we arrived and then a mishap where they forgot to give us something necessary for accessing the parking lot. They do have a lovely Starbucks in the lobby. Overall, I have stayed in cheaper places that were much better tended, so this was a let down.
Dirty windows and carpeting in the room were disgusting. Other than that, a nice play to stay.

The location of the property is ideal for anyone wishing to explore or attend an event in downtown Buffalo. Hotel was clean and elevators were timely. We tried to have breakfast at the hotel but the line was so long and the staff seemed a bit overwhelmed, most likely due to staff shortages. We came back from a concert the night before around 11:30 or so and there was a large crowd wanting to spend some in the bar at the center of the hotel. Staff appeared annoyed and kept stating this was last call, ‘we’re closed’ etc. I would suggest having the bar stay open a little later when a major concert or athletic event is happening nearby.

Staff was excellent- I had minor issue with my room and was given a new room with a beautiful view immediately.
The hotel is pretty dated. A lot of brown and tan. We had no heat in our room and so gave us a space heater. There were stains on furniture, visible dirt, spots and grime on walls and surfaces. The atrium is freezing, there seems to be very little heat. I wore my parka the whole time I was there. The staff was great. I love Buffalo, usually enjoy staying at a Hyatt, but they need to spend some time and money on this property.
