The location was ideal as my wife had surgery at Mass Eye and Ear and it’s literally the next building over... the hotel let me have a late check out due to the surgery and recovery running late.

Very clean and orderly. Friendly service would definitely stay there agwin

The property has seen better days. The floors and furniture are laminate and show wear. There were dogs barking all night long and loud parties. When asked, the staff said there wasn't a lot they could do about people screaming Chug Chug and obscenities in their rooms at midnight and did nothing more than ask them to turn off loud music. It's COVID, but the common area floors were dirty. Food from CLINK was marginal though service was very good.

The place is very old and dark and depressing inside. It’s not worth the money. The staff was rude and I had to ask 4 times to have a coffee maker in the room and never received house cleaning despite asking 3 times. I also paid for breakfast and but never received a voucher and wouldn’t give it to me There are better hotels nearby. Stay away!!!

Champagne upon entering Advil upon leaving Perfect!

One of the most unique properties I have stayed in the states. An old state prison has been refurbished into a luxury hotel.

The room was cozy and comfortable....the beds were very comfortable. Greeeat. .pillows.. FOOD...OUTSTANDING

For the amount this hotel charges (including surprise expenses they tacked on at the end, beyond the Orbitz price), they don’t deliver much. To have coffee in one’s room you have to order it via room service for $12+ and the pad of paper by the phone had exactly 2 pages left. The so-called complimentary 2 water bottles were later tacked on to a “convention center fee” tho I was not at a convention! The room WAS mobility accessible, near the elevator (which I requested), and bed was comfortable. But almost everything cost extra including WiFi. To pay so much for a hotel room and get so little, I’d just as soon stay at the Marriott’s other, less expensive hotels which offer a great breakfast (residence hotels) and others. I chose the Liberty because of its proximity to Mass General Hospital where I needed to visit, but I won’t stay there again.

This hotel was originally a prison. So the layout and interior structure in many ways is intact representing its history. However, it made me feel a bit claustrophobic, dark, and no areas that you can cozy up. They have many seating areas with side by side chair and a table in between. But none of these areas are family friendly or warm and fuzzy. The gym is very small. I had a latte in a 6 oz mug, when I asked for a larger size, they told me, “this is the largest.” I paid 7.50 for a very mediocre latte. Too pricy for its offering.

Great place for people in thier 20s 30s to celebrate. The lobby turns into a super fun disco/dance club at 9pm till 1am+ and there is another bar/club on the ground floor. Rooms are beautiful but a little tired from the party crowd. South Beach meets Boston.

Beautiful hotel with lots to do in the hotel itself. You can go out or stay in and enjoy the festivities. Talk about making yourself at home.

When we went to grab a glass, there was a dirty one. The shaker was sticky all over. It grossed us out. The staff is super friendly. We lost our phone and when we called they were happy to return it. Beds are comfy. Bathroom is really nice.
