This hotel checked all the boxes except for breakfast. I am a breakfast person and look forward to eating breakfast every morning but the breakfast offered was so limited, repetitive and stale. I was beginning to wonder it some of it was just reheated. Even the fruits had seen better days. I was almost torture having the same things every morning. Unfortunately my stay was 8 nights and it was already paid for. It is a new looking and fresh hotel and the staff seems very nice but they need to fix the breakfast.
Reggie was outstanding ! Great attitude , very polite ,overheard great hospitality & also helped us w our luggage. Thank you Reggie Sam was also helpful & went beyond and above for my first night, thank you Sam! Breakfast was yummy ! Clean hotel Nice staff Grocery store across the street Stay was GREAT
This hotel is relatively new located in a changing area of Boston along Washington St. Its accommodations are new but the art in the rooms is colorless and artistically vacant. The King suite is small but has a little kitchen and can sleep 4 people: 2 on king bed and 2 on pull out couch. The room was very quiet and seemed isolated from street noise. Unfortunately because of the pandemic the breakfast was basically a bag with a granola bar and a tiny muffin. Not even some OJ. Coffee was limited to K-CUPs for your room. Staff was nice but the gates to the parking rarely worked with the code tags we were given requiring the guard to come out and manually open it. It was also very tight parking Monday night with limited spaces or else you would park on Washington.
The room was nice, but the service was lacking. I'm not sure if it's due to COVID-19, but room service only came once during our 6-day stay and it was extremely hard to get answers from management regarding charges, parking, etc. Also, our "breakfast" that was included was an oatmeal packing and a small box of cereal each morning. Again, likely due to COVID-19, but I would've stayed elsewhere and bought breakfast outside of the hotel had I known that breakfast each morning was just sugar in a bag.
Very convenient to get to all areas of the city. The room had a nice sized kitchen. If we knew earlier, we would have stayed longer.
They are not happy for keeping “Do not disturb”. They claim they need 24 hr inspection. Nonsense. Other than that, I was happy.
Easy parking onsite, great fitness center, friendly staff, our studio room was spacious and although we had a short stay this time, the mini kitchen/bar area would be fantastic for a family or traveller on a multi-day stay- a real money saver on the food side. There is a supermarket right behind the building that is a brand new renovation. Very easy walking (less than 10min) to plenty of great restaurants (we hit El Centro on the corner of Shawmut and W. Concord St- top notch Mexican food!) and 5 min more you can be at Copley sq. Challenges- Driving to the hotel from within the city was tricky. It was definitely reminiscent of trying to drive in Boston 20yrs should before they improved the traffic patterns. A lot of. 1 way streets and navigating through an occasional neighborhoods if you miss a critical turn. Also note- Google brings you to the wrong side of the hotel, on a street you cannot get to the hotel from due to 1 way streets, so you have to loop around a couple of blocks. Fairly easy, just a bit silly. Don’t get too excited about the free breakfast. It’ll keep the wolves at bay until you can get out and about and grab something. Great value in a hotel, clean and spacious and would be equally suited to a family as it would be for a business traveller. We were in town visiting Colleges in the Backbay Fens area and it was a nice retreat at the end of a long day.
Excellent service overall. The area out side the hotel is a little scary at night
nice hotel; breakfast was good, security and parkingr
Parking was the primary issue with construction going on around the properly. However, an employee gave up his parking spot right in front of the hotel to me. The parking check-in spot is a bit tight but is limited to only 10 minutes. Check in is really fast so that is not much of an issue. The hotel is really, really nice inside. It is very, very clean (I mean really really clean) and the room I had was top notch. The room was tidy, clean, and very homely. I loved the lighting in the bathroom and the walk-in shower. I really felt like I was in an apartment. Full kitchen with dishwasher, stove, full fridge and freezer, and there were plenty of dishes to use in the cabinets, as well. The staff were courteous and accommodating and they had plenty of little snacks near the front desk if needed. I purchased a little pizza to go from their bar and it was sooo good. I want to go back to Boston just to stay in their hotel.
Very nice very modern and clean. Will definitly stay here again
The room was great. The shuttle driver was fantastic and very helpful. Your night receptionist was rude and refused to give us any help.
