The rooms were nice but the staff was lazy and rude. It’s located in a shady part of town where there isn’t much restaurants or shops. Marriott’s policy of charging for early check in’s is bs. I won’t be staying at a Marriott anymore. Hilton’s are nicer.

The good: it’s a brand new hotel and it shows. The breakfast buffet is great, they keep it stocked, I recommend going early as the attendant is not on top of keeping the tables wiped and bussing the dirty dishes. They were on top of keeping it stocked though, it just an hour into it you can tell the tables were not kept up,with and sanitized. The housekeeping team was very accommodating and friendly. The Bad: The area it is in is NOT SAFE. If you stay here budget $40 a day to uber into the city. Here’s where you have tomaskmismit really worth it. Just know it is dangerous. The Staff: Beautiful hotel with staff that lack basic hospitality training. They are unpolished. Don’t say hello, don’t smile, don’t make eye contact, too familiar and abrasive. Example I heard them raising their voice with guests on two,occasions when they had a question about then fee and whether or not it was included, Not once did I notice any of them welcome a guest or say hello. Basic hospitality training is needed- you will notice it especially if you are used to staying a Marriott or Hilton property. They just seemed to exist there without any passion for what they do. T

My kids and I flew up to Boston for a concert over the weekend. I read quite a few negative reviews about this hotel and the area, but I have absolutely no complaints. All the staff were very friendly and accommodating, room was clean, and the complimentary breakfast had plenty of options.

Hotel was very nice. Room was lovely. Breakfast was chaotic at times and often there was very limited options, as no fruit or yoghurt were left due to them running out. Most days there was only one gluten free option, Cheerios. No alternative gluten free options for bread, bagels or pastries etc. Housekeeping was intermittent at times and had to request that the bins were emptied and ask to get towels etc as we got missed a few days. Location was good in terms of traveling into the city, 10 minutes walk to train station. Great supermarket opposite hotel. Biggest issue was that at times it didn’t feel safe with the volume of people hanging around the corners by the hotel all day and night. Also Dogs can stay in the hotel and we were occasionally woken up by them barking.
